Redfall Dream #3

Chase the Dream

Rate this book
Touring the world with Redfall, one of rock 'n roll's hottest bands, wasn't the life Cameron Chapman's parents dreamed of for him. Born into a privileged Boston family, Cam was expected to continue in the Chapman mold: the perfect job, the perfect wife, the perfect life--and above all else, no scandals.

But that ship sailed a long time ago.

A virtuoso on the violin, her music is the only thing Samantha McKenzie can rely on after almost losing the most precious thing in her life. She'll sacrifice everything to keep her daughter safe...even if it means hiding from her past and burying her own dreams.

Meeting the beautiful and mysterious Samantha opens Cam's eyes to possibilities he's never considered, and he makes it his mission to unravel her secrets. But will her past come back to haunt her, or will they choose to chase a new dream together?

Wow! So this is my third read from these two authors and I have to say it was just about a perfect read for me! I was up til almost 2am as I had to know how the story ended.

I have been on a bit of a kick lately where the hero needs to be more than your usual alpha a$$hole. He's gotta give me more. Well Cam gave me EVERYTHING!!! HAF Musician with a heart of gold. He is such a believable character, I fell for him at around the 10% mark and it just got better and better. Don't get me wrong - he's all man, but he's all man enough to own how he feels and pursue what he wants - and that's Sam.

Single mum Samantha is a little broken, a little jaded and a whole lot scared. That doesn't stop Cam though. He pulls out all the stops to win her over. You get an insight into her history & it's not pretty. You also get more of an insight into Cam's history and although he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth I wouldn't say his life was perfect. Far from it. They are soooo great for each other. You could feel the genuine emotions pouring from the pages and as for their chemistry - WOWSA! Talk about a delicious slow burn - I had what my hubby calls my "squirmy" face with these two. H.O.T !!!

Add in the most adorable 4 year old you've ever met, the chance to catch up with the other members of the Redfall gang and extra supporting characters that rounded this out to be a beautifully rich story that I couldn't read fast enough. I have everything crossed that we're going to get Sean's story next - I thought he was funny and fabulous in the other books, in this book he became a new favourite. There's so much more to the British Prankster than meets the eye. Definitely recommend.

I received an arc of this book.

Cam is so swoony in this rock star romance between two musicians that come from completely diverse backgrounds. Sam may not run in the same circle as Cam, but that doesn't diminish his fascination with needing to know the auburn-haired beauty. All he sees is Sam, the passion in which she plays her violin and the sadness she carries with her. Cam is captivated by Sam from the start and spending time with her dominates his thoughts.

Sam came from a loving, family home. Unfortunately, her road to happily ever after took a turn she never expected. It killed me to see Sam hiding from the world, but her reality was focused on nothing but caring for her beautiful, young daughter. I admired Sam’s perseverance, all while putting her daughter first in every sense of the word. She hoped for good things in life, but taking things day by day had to be enough.

Cam and Samantha meet, and the journey Leslie Carson and BB Miller take us on is filled with hope, strength, and downright beautiful moments that will fill your heart with love. The slow burn between these two was delicious. Cam is not afraid to show his true self and I loved him more and more with every turn of the pages. Sam was timid and afraid of Cam’s intentions, but he was honest with her from the start and I loved him even more for it! The two of them just made sense and I loved how patient Cam was with Samantha every step of the way.

These two authors do an excellent job of pulling you into this rock-n-roll world. It’s not over the top, it’s not unrealistic. The struggles are real, and it makes you root for them to find their happiness even more. This is a great series and the supporting band members/characters bring something special to this dynamic that makes them feel like family. Don’t miss out on spending time with Redfall, the price of admissions is totally worth it!

No Spoilers!!!

Where to begin? Floored is the first emotion I felt after reading Chase The Dream. First, I'm honored to have been given an ARC for the second time by the dynamic duo a.k.a. B.B. and Leslie! Thank you with much appreciation for extending a copy to me. Then, the cover, mmm, one of the best I've seen in a really, really long time.

I promised myself I'd give myself a few days before I wrote an official review for GR but I'm anxious to hurry up and type away (I'm sure as days go by edits will definitely be on the horizon). Forgive me.

Redfall, finally Cam's "Cameron Louis Chapman the Third" or Three's story. To say I truly believed my heart and loyalty would always remain in favor firstly with Kennedy and Abby throughout this series is an understatement but then Matt and Tess' story came along and my heart expanded to their journey. Well, here we have Cam and Sam's story, well, prepare yourself because in my opinion this is B.B. and Leslie's best work yet of the series. They have somehow managed to emotionally ensure you fall in love with many here. Cam, Hannah, yes, even the Chapman's by the end of it, and cleverly loving Sean just as fiercely as your love for the front runner here, Cam. Sean is hysterical with his antics in Chase The Dream, he's the breath of fresh air, the willing distraction to protect his band family, the one that sneaks up on you with all his glorious hair color changes. The shopping scene, the time out...priceless. How I laughed so much out loud with the time out. Heck, just the thought and I'm still laughing.

The maturity level for this group amplifies here, tying so many ends together. The subject matter may not be for everyone but make no mistake the lessons far weigh the triggers here. The subject matter is delicately handled and executed brilliantly. Every single issue brought forward between Cam and Sam or either one of them with another adult that mattered was dealt with no crazy back and forth roller coaster ride, there's no whining here, no unnecessary drama, no doormats just pure healthy adult relationships being restored with each page you turn. This is one of those books you watch the percentage on your Kindle and do not want it to end. Ever. Period.

Cam, he's just everything. Handsome, talented, rock god, tall, not crazy muscular but finely cut, sexy, sweet, misunderstood by his family, driven, and most importantly, willing to acknowledge all of his past mistakes without making up excuses for himself. He owns it. Powerful hero for these very reasons and so many more.

Sam, she's beautiful, extremely talented, protective, selfless, shy and fearful but is so much stronger than she acknowledges in her own head but her actions through the authors' words speak volumes and boldly allow you to feel just how strong of a woman she really is. Respect is the first word that comes to my mind for Sam. Incredible heroine.

Hannah ;) sorry no spoilers!

That's all I'll give until after the book is released, I refuse to ruin it for anyone. I will say this...READ THIS BOOK, READ THE ENTIRE SERIES! Yes, I'm fully aware I've used shouty capitals.

Sexy, seriously don't doubt it for a second if B.B. and Leslie wrote it, besides it is a rock star romance read. The story, beyond your expectations, it's at a higher level than most in this genre. The maturity in these characters, how they handle the day to day is off the charts here. Cheating, nope. Cliffhanger, nope. Threesomes, nope. Swearing, yep however, it's not a lot but it's a rock star romance read, kind of expected. Please no judging, if it's not your thing then move on but I promise it's your loss, a huge loss for you, in my opinion. Typos, I only remember three to four, there's possibly more...I read it so fast because I was that entranced. I do believe revisions are still being made so the final copy may have no typos. No grammar police here please, the writing and story is outstanding.

I am so bummed that the end of this series is almost here after Sean's story. I love Redfall's journey, their lives feel so realistic as if we may actually know them. I do hope and this is my personal preference, that by the end of Sean's story (the series as well) that we receive HEAs (marriages, kids the whole enchilada in a great epilogue) not just HFNs, usually HFNs are not my thing but there's no way I regret any of the these books. This is a must read series. Greatness, impeccable, brilliant, realistic, emotional, different, eclectic, unforgettable...just some of the words that will forever remain with me when I think of Redfall many years from now. This series is a reread many times over. Trust me, this is a unique, different and special Rock Star read, it goes beyond the normal sexy and alpha, it's remarkably exceptional.

I am not a friend of B.B. or Leslie's, just a reader...this is my honest review.

There is nothing I love more that getting a recommendation of a new author/authors and loving the book so much that I’m left speechless.
I had a wonderful book friend refer me to B.B Miller and Leslie Carson, and I am so glad she did.
Wow!
This book was so beautiful. The story powerful. Books that always have a huge play on family, more importantly, motherhood and the hardships of it, tend to tug at bit more at my heart.
And the way it’s shown here definitely brought tears to my eyes.
You have Sam. Our single parent of an adorable little 4 year old named Hannah. Sam and Hannah are on the run and hiding from a horrible past that has them living with a constant fear breathing down their necks. The struggles Sam goes through to keep Hannah safe we’re jaw dropping. The way a mother selflessly puts her child above all else was inspiring.
Then, we have our sexy, charming Cam. A guitarist for the famous Redfall’s band. The black sheep of the family for not following on the aristocratic ways as the rest of the Chapman’s.
From the moment these two meet, to breaking away from fear, letting go of the past, relearning to trust again, it was all so beautifully written.
I fell in love with these characters at the same time they were falling in love with each other.
I need to go back and read the other two books in the Redfall series.
A truly wonderful read.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. Thank you BB Milller and Leslie Carson!

Wow. WOW. WOW. WOW. Okay, so, where have these two been my whole life? This book was everything. Either I’m getting weaker as time passes by, or these authors are on fire, cause they made me tear up. Yes, I shed a few tears!!!

I loved Sam’s story. It was emotional, raw, and captivating. Throughout the whole story, I had a my stomach in knots. I was nervous for Sam, for Hannah, praying the past wouldn’t catch up to them. I felt experienced every emotion they did. My heart raced and I’m just gonna go ahead and call it cardio cause it was beating so hard (genius right?).

The pace was spot on, the amount of description vs action was impeccable, the development of the relationship was on point. I cannot find a fault, because it was a beautiful story, with amazing characters.

I am officially hooked on this series! It’s one of my favourite tropes, and it was done so well. I fell in love with Cam, Sam and, Hannah. I laughed alongside them and my heart swelled at the amount of love they have for each other.

Thank you Michelle Clay for the recommendation <3

4.5 "Rock" Stars
Redfall rock band's rhythm guitarist Cameron "Cam" Chapman has a way with the ladies. The thirty-seven year old can charm his sister Kat into doing just about anything he needs her to. He is also highly adept at driving his Boston socialite mother, Victoria Chapman borderline insane with his nonconformist style and way of life. In addition, he is quite skilled at attracting the attention of legions of female rock fans, as well as women who feel he is the perfect piece to secure their status among Boston's elite upper crust. The trouble the dangerously sexy rocker has is attracting the right kind of woman, even after taking steps to put his partying past far behind him.

Bandmates Kennedy Lane and Matt Logan have each recently found their ideal matches, and seem to be settling in as couples. Cam longs for the same in his own life, if only his mother would stop meddling in his affairs. Then, one night at a fundraiser changes everything for Cam when he spots a stunning young violinist playing in the orchestra. Determined to meet the beautiful auburn haired woman he felt an instant attraction to, Cam sets off to find her backstage. He makes a polite introduction and learns her name is Samantha "Sam".

Sam and her four year old daughter Hannah fled Chicago three years ago, attempting to escape Sam's abusive ex-husband Ray. Sam knows that she will never truly be safe from Ray, so she always has her guard up. Sam has changed her name, her hair, and her location. She keeps her head down and tries to avoid any unnecessary attention. The last thing she needs is to get caught up in a fleeting romance with a rock star. However; Cam just can't ignore what his heart is telling him and he all but begs Sam for the time of day. Sam eventually relents and soon becomes swayed by the caring man and his huge, protective heart. For some reason, Sam just can't help but feel safe with Cameron by her side. He is sweet, playful, funny, romantic, and seems to be falling for both she and Hannah. It feels too good to be true. Could he really be The One?

Equally smitten with Samantha are the other members of Redfall. Drummer Sean just stole the show here for me! His affection and kindness towards Hannah totally charmed the pants off me. I will never be able to look at an American Girl doll again without thinking of he and Cameron trying to make a sweet little girl's wish come true. There's just something about a little girl wrapping the members of a rock band around her precious finger, that was impossible to resist. Oh poppet...you lucky little girl!
Hannah is quite the character in her own right. She was as pivotal to the storyline as Cameron and Sam, delighting readers with her sassy self and her bright, insightful personality. Too cute!

The crux of the story is can Sam risk the safety she feels with her anonymity these past three years, possibly placing Hannah at risk as well, because of the love she develops for Cameron? It's only a matter of time before Ray is out of prison and on the hunt for them.
How will the members of Redfall feel when their lead rhythm guitarist falls for a woman with a past that could place them all in jeopardy?

This was a mature romance and that is what drew me in. This wasn't the story of some punk kid rock band that detailed heavy nights of partying and picking up random women. These were men who had enjoyed their freedom in their early years, but were now looking for something more. They loved and cared for one another. You could feel a genuine family dynamic in place amongst the band, which was often hilarious. I laughed out loud so many times. Definitely a bonus in this clever romance!

Overall, I truly enjoyed this book. Rock star romances are not usually my preferred trope, but this one cast a spell on me. The men of Redfall knew just how to get to me! I cannot resist a sexy man with a sense of humor, must less four of them. I was helpless! lol

The storyline was always interesting, was well developed, packed just the right amount of heat and passion, the perfect amount of sarcasm, banter and humor, and the authors created characters that you couldn't help but cheer on. Another perk...even though Matt and Kennedy get their HEA in previous books, you can read this book and not feel as if you've missed out on anything essential to your enjoyment of Cameron and Sam's story. I really applaud the authors for taking the time to carefully craft this story with that in mind. Bravo!

I cannot wait to get my hands on Sean's story next!!! He totally does it for me. lol
If you haven't met the men of Redfall...I highly recommend you introduce yourself.
They are a new caliber of Rockstar! Sigh......

Wow loved this one!! Cam, Sam and Hannah were awesome to read. This is a great story of 2 people who find one another that are raised on different sides of the tracks. Cam was raised in a wealthy household and was use to having servants and a privledged life. Sam grew up far away from this and chased her dream of playing the violin.

I can't wait for the next book in this series. This one was really hard to put down once I had started it. All I can say is I have a hard time putting into words how I feel about a book that I can't do it justice in a review. If you have read any of the other 2 books then you are in for another treat with this one.

The Redfall Series are not your typical Rock stories and that is proven with each book.

Chase The Dream is for me Christmas in July. A heartfelt love story that you can only dream about, the famous Rock Star passing up the high society beauty queen and falling for the a second chair Violinist. Cameron Louis Chapman III born of privilege had turned his back on his legacy and ran away to become a rock star. Samantha McKenzie talented enough to be in the Boston Symphony has run away as well, but for entirely different reasons.

Cameron has earned his place on my short list of book boyfriends. A rocker that is pure HEART, not an egotistical bone in his body - a true hero. - Samantha is a heroine is her own right - Tough, soft and strong, you will be rooting her on throughout.

Ms Miller & Ms Carson bring to the forefront of this book what is a crisis for so many silent victims, without taking away from the hope of the Christmas season, thanks to the adorable Hannah and the presence of family that is Redfall.

Love, humor, a villain or two, heart stopping suspense and the Dickens like ending, this story has it all. Looking forward to "Uncle Sean" meeting his match.

4.5 stars!

Chase the Dream is an enjoyable read and definitely not your typical Rockstar romance. I adored the sweet and loving relationship that developed between Samantha and Cam. There was an instant pull between the two of them from the moment they met. Didn't matter that they came from different worlds, as the heart can't deny what it wants. I really loved how patient Cam was with Samantha. He didn't pressure her into anything, allowing things to move at her pace. He knew she wanted him, but after all she had been through.....Cam knew she needed to set the tempo for whatever was happening between them. And the relationship Cam had with her daughter? That girl definitely captured the hearts of everyone around her. She was adorable!

It was nice to catch up with all the other members of the band and see how they welcomed in a new member, or members, to their family. They all have such a unique bond with one another, and I can't wait to see them again when we get Sean's story!

This is the 3rd in the Redfall series from these two talented authors. I’ve now read all 3, and this one is by far my favorite! My first read of the book kept me awake a large portion of the night when I started it.

Cam is the hot rhythm guitarist for an Internationally known rock band. He’s also the black sheep son from Boston Society’s ruling family. He struggled with being himself within the confines of the expectations of his high-society mother, so as a result he broke away and became a bad-boy rocker. He’s finally on firm footing with who he is a an individual and moved away from some of the destructive behaviors of his recent past.

Samantha is a string-willed, but emotionally closed off, single mom. She’s struggling to overcome an abusive situation, and provide the best life that she can for her preschool daughter, Hannah. She is a very gifted and talented musician in her own right.

The authors do a wonderful job of developing the characters. We met Cam in previous books, but I fell in love with his character in the book. They were also able to really convey the emotions and feelings that Samantha experienced in her struggles throughout the book.

The other member of Redfall, along with their trusted security detail also appear throughout the book. I loved visiting with them again, yet did not feel that they overshadowed Cam and Samantha. We also meet Hannah and see the wonder of the world through the eyes of a precocious 4 yr old. This book takes the reader on a journey from the concert halls of Boston, American Girl, the ski slopes of Vermont, and the New England countryside.

Well worth the read! I am looking forward to the next installment of the Redfall series!

** I received an ARC in return for an honest review of the book.

Chase the Dream was my first book from B.B Miller and Leslie is from the Redfall series and it can be read as a standalone. Now that I mention this, I’m gonna start by saying that this book was a great read.
Cameron Chapman, not you typical bad boy rockstar, he come from a rich family but he always wanted things for himself and worked hard at it. He has a big heart and his band mates are his family. Now on a break from tour he goes back to his town where his family lives, there he meets Sam.
Sam is a violinist in an orchestra that plays at the Chapman Center for the arts, she is a single mother, with a pass that needs to be hidden, she doesn’t trust easy and is very guarded of her feelings. But she never expected meeting Cameron, for him to be interested on her and wiggle his way in her heart. But with Sam’s past she feels that he will never stick around and is for the best. But will they have a chance at love, will Sam stop fighting and give in to a happy life?

I truly enjoyed this story it was very well written, the characters had an amazing chemistry, the heroin Sam was strong, and Cam was just as amazing, and so loving that I just couldn’t help but to fall for him. Overall this story made my heart feel happy and I really enjoyed all the side characters. Now I need to catch up on the rest of the series.
5 Stars read!!

*Book 3 of the Redfall series- read Rock the Dream and Live the Dream first to avoid spoilers. They’re bloody well worth it!

As much as I loved the first 2 books, this story captured my heart and soul. Cam is perfect, Sam is damaged but strong and not broken, and Hannah is adorable.

Carson & Millers writing is so smooth flawless. Conversation is “normal” not contrived or awkward, troubles are handled maturely (avoiding the angst of non communication that I really dislike), and character development is so rich I felt every bit of pain, hope, and happiness as each character experienced it. Some scenes made my heart ache, some brought me to tears and others made my heart soar with joy. Miller and Carson evoked great emotion from beginning to end.

OK first of all I apologise for the short review, it is not intentional because truly if I could find the right words to say about how much I loved this book I would. So here I am pondering what to write because I am lost. This is an AMAZING Rockstar Romance!!
Beautifully and intelligently written you find yourself hanging on every word. Everything is described so meticulously it is so easy to picture the Rockstar life in your mind. Sam and Cam's story was perfection I completely Loved it there is nothing more to say other than I highly recommend this book and this whole series. To any die hard Rockstar Romance fan like me, it has everything you could ask for.. A heart stealing book boyfriend to swoon over, a riveting story, a pouring swell of emotion, and laughs it has been a joy to read.
Mesmerising, breathtaking and spectacular Chase The Dream was a purely a Dream to read.

Was sooo looking forward to this one!

I was captured into the world of these 2 very talented writers when I stumbled upon their book, Rock the Dream last year. Really loved Kennedy & Abby's touching & hard won love story. The book about Matt & Tess was up next & I 'rocked & rolled' thru that one in one day! I absolutely LOVE a great rockstar love story, but a series is even better!

Now, we have Chase the Dream, which tells the story of someone who stole my heart from the start of the Redfall series, Cam Chapman. He is a handsome, kind & caring rebel of a gentleman, raised by an elite Bostonian family, on a huge estate BUT...Cameron Louis Chapman the 3rd, as he's known to his family, doesn't live this big, privileged life anymore unless he is required to attend any of the many philanthropic events his parents are involved in. Of course, his life as a the rythym guitarist for the hottest, sexiest rock band around gives him his own means to live life as he wants, not how his family thinks he should. They'd rather he was involved in the family businesses, but he's the black sheep of this family, & likes being in his band, the family of his heart..music is his life.

Cam is on a break from touring & heads home to Boston for some much needed time to himself. He is in attendance at one of his mother's charity events, the symphony she supports, when he is drawn to one particular beautiful, red headed violinist who completely captures his attention with her passionate playing. Cam can't keep away, obsessed to find out more about her but no matter how he tries, she keeps pushing him away, avoiding his offered friendship. She's the strong, independent mother of a 4 year old girl, Hannah, who is a precocious little thief of hearts & protecting her, keeping them both safe is her only priority. She is hiding a big secret & won't let anything get in the way of that, even the protective, sweet man she is falling for.

What is going on with Samantha Mackenzie, what is she hiding from poor Cam who can't stop thinking about her & wanting her to trust him? They have so much in common despite their different lifestyles but can she ever trust him enough to tell him everything?

Wow, how I just melted reading about Cam's sweet, protective, loving ways as he patiently wooed his way into Sam's caged in heart. Hannah killed me with the things she said & did, such a funny little girl, she had Cam wrapped around her finger from the start! It was fun to see the Redfall crew come together & draw Sam & Hannah into their inner circle when Cam needed them the most.

I'm looking forward to reading the story of Sean, Brittish (swoon) wild child drummer & life of the Redfall party! Wondering if Kat, Cam's sister will be the one to tame him in the end..we will see!

I normally don’t like to read books from a series out of order, I often feel like I’m missing out if I don’t get all of the players stories in sequence, but this, my first book by these authors was perfect as a stand-alone.

This is a love at first sight romance, and despite this cliche beginning is anything but.
It’s an invigoratingly emotional and uplifting story of love and perseverance, and relays the true struggle against domestic violence and its psychological effects, an issue these authors have handled and integrated into this tale beautifully.

Samantha and her cute as daughter Hannah are hiding and running from the worst and most vicious sort of coward.
The strain and terror of this existence for Sam is palpable in the authors depiction, you just want to reach out and hug this woman and keep her safe.

But then they have provided the perfect hero in Cameron to take that job, and he really is a hot knight in leather armour, and the guy can ride a horse too, bonus!!

I loved Cameron, he’s everything you could ever want in a book boyfriend/hero; determined, protective, attentive, romantic and sexy as hell.
We are given a wonderful insight into what makes this man tick through the relationships between him and his biological and band families, and you can’t help but love him more for it, and see just why Sam is perfect for him.

The cameos from the Redfall members just added more brilliance to this great read, none more so than the crazy Brit Sean, whose story I’m now waiting impatiently for!
I’m going back to catch-up on the other books while I wait! 5 Stars!!

***I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review***
This is the first book that I have read from this author and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book. I'm an avid reader of rocker romances so when I came across this author I was intrigued by how she would approach the subject. This book follows Cameron Chapman, not you typical bad boy rockstar, he comes from a rich family but he always wanted things for himself and worked hard at it.
So you can imagine the chemistry that this two have when they finally meet.
I LOVED the way the story was written, the characters had so much depth to them so it made reading that much more enjoyable.
Ultimately this story is about learning to let your guard down and trusting yourself and the people that you surround yourself with because you never know when they will come to your rescue both physically and emotionally. I would recommend this novel to anyone who loves rocker romances/ and or a good book to get lost in. It will definitely not be the last book I read from this author; in fact I already bought the other two books in the series and can't wait to read about the other members of the band!!!

This was my first time reading a book by these authors and I enjoyed it. Cameron and Samantha were from completely different backgrounds but made it work. Cameron was the complete opposite of his family. He was born into an uber rich family and you would never know because he was so humble and grounded. Samantha had a lot on her plate with lots of baggage. Poor girl was living in fear and couldn’t cut a break. But Cameron was persistent. He wanted Samantha.

This was not an instant romance book. Samantha didn’t make it easy for Cameron but when she gave in she was still cautious. She had lots of reasons to be very careful. There was a very delicate and scary moment but they overcame it but it wasn’t easy. It took a toll on Samantha and Cameron showed that he would do anything for her.

Great read and secondary characters.

WOW...

I've been patiently waiting for Chase the Dream since last year and these authors absolutely made the wait so worth it!

The writing was wonderful.  I thought the flow was fantastic.  I so enjoyed seeing the band together again!  I laughed so hard at some points that my sides hurt.

I loved Cam, Sam, and Hannah.  It was so great to see such a strong guitarist fall so hard.

While there was laughter, there was some hard parts as well... They have taken a subject that is so hard to discuss in public and made a beautiful & respectful story for the rest of the world to understand.  The passion, the fear, the pain, all of it was just absolutely on point.

If you haven't read this book yet - go do it now!!!!

This is Sean and Cam’s story. Cam is a hot sexy rock star, Sam is trying to her best for her young daughter. When they finally collide is just love at first sight, they start a slow burn romance that will entice you to keep reading until the very end. The story is full of amazing moments, real moments and you can’t stop but fall in love with them. All the books in the series have mesmerized me but this certainly got into my heart. You don’t want to miss this sexy rock star, who is book boyfriend worthy of a five-star review.

Chase the Dream was such an incredible read. I absolutely LOVED Cameron and Samantha. Their chemistry was sizzle but the love these two had is what kept me turning the pages. Throw in an adorable little girl and one of the hottest rock bands in the world and you have your next 5 star read. I highly recommend Chase the Dream, which is the 3rd book in the Redfall Dream series. Even though this can be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend you read the other two in this amazing series!

A Redfall Christmas Carol

I never thought Cam's story would be so freaking sweet! But it is absolutely adorable, and it put a smile on my face. Anyone who loves seasonal books should definitely pick this for Christmas because it’s got the warmth, the spirit of love and sharing and giving and all those nice things, and a super cute kid and horses and sparkly decorations and... you get the idea. It’s also got some serious chemistry, and a dash of the fabulous fun that is the Brit. It was a nice change of pace to see the band in a more relaxed, mellow kind of setting, and it’s really cool to see how far they’ve all come. I particularly like Sam and how she’s fought against a very scary and serious situation to get there. I’m now looking forward to the next one!

3.5 Rock Me Stars

Cameron Chapman and Samantha McKenzie are from different social circles and backgrounds. Their slow introduction to one another leaves some information unknown and a little misleading. But the slow burn of the relationship is exactly what’s needed for this story to develop. Cameron is sweet but relentless in his pursuit of Sam. She definitely has some things that hold her back. Add in a precocious little girl, interfering parents and his Redfall bandmates with their significant others and you’ve got an enjoyable third installment to the series.

FANTASTIC!

Cam and Sam were a fantastic couple! The chemistry between them was sizzling. Sam was a battered and abused woman on the run from her ex with her adorable little girl Hannah. Cam knew she was the One from the moment he saw her playing her violin in the orchestra but convincing Sam would take a lot of time, effort, and perseverance. Trust was something that Sam didn't have much faith in. The band members of Cam's band were like family and their stories are in others books that are available and after reading this you will want to read. They gather around Sam and give her the support she didn't think she would ever have again. This wonderful book is one you will want to have in your collection to read over and over again.

Rock star/ violinist
Sam comes from abusive husband and is on the run with her daughter.
Cam is a wealthy rock star and falls head over heels for sam but she is reluctant from past experiences!
She is also scared to get any photographs incase the ex finds her and Hannah!
Great easy read with a feel good story line where the male wants to help protect the female!
Well written and real page turner!
