This second book is about Matt and Tessa.

Matt uses one-night stands to silence the voices in his head. Voices about his effed up childhood and youth.
But now here's this woman that has him mega-intrigued.
Maybe he doesn't need the constant one-night stands with strangers. Maybe he can have something real and serious and forever ever after?
But that's only a stupid dream for someone like him... right???

What will happen with Tessa & Matt ?
Will there be a HEA?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺

#ROCKSTARROMANCE!!!!
I just love those!

description

And this book was just as great as the first one!
We have those mid-thirties rock stars. With all their problems. Alcohol. Drugs. Women. Family.
The first one has been tamed, and now it's Matt's turn.
He's completely in lust/love/interest with Tess after their one night right at the beginning of the book - so why not try something serious for once?
Too bad he has to leave for the Australian leg of their tour in a couple of days.
But he'll try his best so that she won't forget him in those 3 weeks! ☺

I really loved Matt and Tessa. They just click.
She's this happy in life and happy in her job girl with the perfect family.
And he's this poor little rock star with a sad childhood and with the bad memories that just won't go away. Until Tessa.
I love that they get together right at the beginning of the book and not like all the other books, where there's so much to overcome and then at the 97% mark they finally get together.
Doesn't mean we don't have any stuff to overcome here.
We have some very serious & intense things in this book. Like homeless children. Sick children. Family. Loss. Grief. Hope. Hopelessness. Addiction.... And there are even some very scary and suspensy moments!!
But of course we also have those adorable and funny rock star moments and some very sexy moments!

GREAT BOOK!!!
I laughed, I cried, I swooned. I Loved it!!!!

LIVE YOUR DREAM was an amazingly beautiful & intense & sexy & moving #RockStarRomance! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Matt Logan! Because this one is MINE! ☺

I binged this fantastic story in one session. We met Matt & Tess in book one of this series and I already loved them both so was thrilled they were getting a story. This is not your average rock star book, it tackles some tough issues and allow the characters to have real problems they need to work through without glossing over them. I loved the depth of the book. Having said that there's still plenty of laughs, witty dialogue, some seriously hot chemistry and a sweet love story to round out the angst. Definitely recommend this story and look forward to the next book in the series.

I received an ARC of this book.

I was introduced to this series by a book bestie. I loved the first in the series but I devoured Live The Dream. Matt & Tess and their hilarious banter made this an awesome read. I love that there wasn't any unnecessary drama concerning jealousy or a scene that was portrayed as one thing leaving one of the characters heartbroken only because of a lack of communication. This book had soul and depth and I could not put it down. I can't wait for Cameron's book!! This series is definitely 5 Star Worthy!!!

5+ PHENOMENAL STARS!!! Another fantastic book in the Redfall Dream Series, deserves more than 5 stars. These two authors are magical together, their words flow like a beautiful song. Matt and Tess's story had all the feels with angst and suspense. I could not put this book down, it is so worth the price and read. I am so excited for the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

A fantastic read!

LOVED this one! I am so excited that I received an ARC of this great book. This is book 2 in BB Miller and Leslie Carson's Dream series. My first read by both authors, and it absolutely won't be the last! There's so much love and support in this book, not only from Matt and Tess, but from ALL of the characters involved. There's such a wonderful family dynamic that it really hit home for me. Both authors touched on some serious issues that are more often than not overlooked in today's society, but it's not to the point where it's overwhelming. It's tied into the story so delicately and passionately that it makes you want to fix what's wrong in the world immediately. I can't recommend this book enough! READ IT NOW!

Live Your Dream by B.B. Miller & Leslie Carson
Matt Logan & Tessa Baker's story
Review Date: 9/18/17

**Revised 10/18/17, date of release**

I was honored when I was given the opportunity for this ARC but regardless that is irrelevant, purchasing this book was a definite necessity for me. I am NOT a friend of either author, I was just lucky enough to have been selected to review their amazing craft, a true honor.

Stunned speechless best describes my review. Amazing, incredible, real, perfection...the list is endless.

If there’s one thing I’d wish for you as the reader to get from this series it’s this - the realism and maturity of the story. What Matt and Tessa, well, all of Redfall and the characters go through are everyday life struggles that anyone and most importantly, that someone is or has gone through, fame or not, they're human and go thru life struggles just as us regular folk do. Recognize how they deal with the hardships in this read, the authors’ words, they face them head on, admit their insecurities and fears but never run away from it or from their partner by immaturely blowing up a smokescreen or throwing a fit. They argue, admit the error or their ways, apologize and work through it via family, friends or therapy if needed, all healthy alternatives to ensure growth and unity. The rock star characters are just a plus, a hot bonus really, and once again secondary characters are just as important, strong, refreshing and graceful as our hero and heroine here. The hot, the brooding, the talented, the sexy, the alpha when needed to be is balanced perfection through B.B. and Leslie’s eloquent word delivery. We all love a fairy tale, to get lost and imagine ourselves in the story but when it becomes real as these two make it seem, as if this could be you, wow, how many authors can do that? Please keep that in mind and look for the lesson(s). You get childhood tragedy, homelessness, addiction, anger, guilt and fear in this one from the very young to the older characters here focusing on assisting the young because of what they personally have endured rather than turn their backs, a beautiful cycle.

Kennedy and Abby were amazing but Matt and Tessa? Incredible. Two strong individuals, both with broken pasts yet persevered with resources and positive influences beyond their control or want at times, especially with Matt. Tessa got it, utilized the help to fight her way through the pain and loss to survive years before Matt came to the same realization. That was only possible with the love of her family who struggled alongside with her, each family member was affected a different way but she HAD a family. Matt's demons/struggles haunted him even after they found one another, it took him a long time to realize Tessa couldn't make him whole no matter how much he needed it to be so. Tragedy, where one would think would steer him into counseling as his past struggles came back tenfold, still couldn't shake him enough to seek help, stubbornness became the victor. It wasn't until Tessa, an incredibly strong, resilient heroine, went back to the roots ingrained in her from having a military father stood up to him but cleverly without an ultimatum (loved that), as frustrated as she was that his nightmares had returned with a vengeance she still asked him to only think about seeking help with a therapist just as she had after her loss. She didn't say, either you see someone or I'm out, nope, just opposite, I'm here regardless, it's your choice, just think about it. A lesser woman would have bolted but Miller's and Carson's brilliant words dazzled us with pure mature emotional dialogue and thoughts as to what an adult healthy relationship should be. You FEEL it not just read about it.

Diplomatic, mature, faithful, resilient, independent, respect, real, human, genuine love, sexy are just a few words one should keep in mind when reading this rock star read/series. These two most certainly don't play the normal rock star romance card, you'll get no whining, no chapters on immature groupies or immature characters...what you will end up having and something that is very rare in this genre today, is incredible lessons that young readers need to hear. I only have sons and I promise you this, if I had a daughter in her 20s I WOULD want her to read this series without a doubt because these story lines are as real as real life gets. From the introduction of the Redfall band mates and all secondary characters in the first book to now the second, these harsh realities these two talented authors write about, hardships and gut wrenching truths are life as we know it today. I had a feeling the band was going to change their ways after Brody, Cameron's time in rehab and everything Kennedy had gone through but hadn't expected it to be quickly introduced in book 2, so - Bravo! Rock stars in their mid to late 30s, keeping it to that mature level is no easy feat but these two nailed it with such finesse and ease. After moving forward from the struggles in book 1, which were huge struggles and losses, addictions either ending in death or rehab, in book 2, new broken pasts, childhood tragedies and future every day issues were addressed. One wonders, what next can they come up with and handle differently than other authors have writing in this genre? Well, sure their story lines may be similar to others but, and that's a big BUT, here's the difference, the writing and emotion in the mature way these issues were brought to light and handled without the hero or heroine running away and battling back and forth...both having support systems in place to guide them with strong and mature advice. The key, you ask? Both Matt and Tessa were willing to listen to such strong advice. Reality, the famous, our celebrities are not circus freaks one looks up to in awe as if they should be held to a higher standard, just the opposite they're like the rest of us but their pain is worse because they'll be judged and magnified by millions if their stuff gets out and that's just so wrong. They're not gods.

Brilliant, I honestly can't come up with a better word because these two authors are on a whole different level. They've got something special here. Read the book, start with one though, I promise you will not be sorry.

Sexy, yes, but it's so much more than that. You could feel their connection, the heat, not just read about it or imagine it through their words. Cliffhanger, no. Strong hero and heroine, God yes! Secondary characters, better than the first book if you could imagine and the majority are pretty much the same characters in book one except for Matt's dad and Tessa's family (especially her dad's role). Tucker, whew, I can't wait to read about him someday, just maybe he'll get his own story when all is said and done. Threesomes, no. Cursing, yeah, but not bad and it's expected in a rock star read but don't shy away from this series because of it, that's unfair to both authors. Typos, I can think of one, who knows maybe there's more, the story captivated me so much and was so profound that I wasn't focusing on anything but where Matt and Tessa were heading, honestly, where all the characters were at. It's that amazing. I can truthfully say I love Matt and Tessa just as much as I love Kennedy and Abby and that's rare to accomplish for an author. Normally, I'm impatient for the next book in a series or refuse to read a series until it's finished but that's not the case here, I'll wait patiently because each new book tops the one prior here and all the characters remain a constant front and center as well and grow just as strongly as the hero and heroine. Shaking my head at what I just read, just blown away.

Don't hesitate, read the book! I can't wait for the next in this series, it's definitely a necessity for me. Great covers, too!

I can't wait to say I was there someday at the beginning when these two authors fly because it will happen, they ARE that talented. Help make it happen read the book and recommend it to someone. Go!

I absolutely fell in love with Matt and Tessa from the first page and could not put this incredible book down. Getting to read more about both Matt and Tessa's past broke my heart and had me cheering them on to their happily ever after even harder.
Live Your Dream is the second book in the Redfall Dream series and can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read the first book Rock the Dream too.

I absolutely love this novel. My favorite part is the message each one has. The characters are all so giving that it touches your heart.
Matt, the bassist from Redfall, gives back to his adoptive father, Tom at the group home he runs. Whether is is donating money or just his time to help out with the boys. He is my favorite Redfall guy! Sorry Kennedy you are in second.
Tessa is a newly appointed director at What's Your Dream foundation. She is sweet and kind to everyone but Matt. She loves to push his buttons!
At the start of the novel these two wake up in a compromising position. I think this is a wake up call for Matt that Tess isn't just a normal girl.
It is an uphill battle from there to get Tess to see another side to Matt. He sure does have his work cut out for him.
My heart stopped at one part of the story. I mean from the way things were going for them it was bound to happen, however reading it was hard.
I fell into the pages and didn't come up for air until I was done. I love getting each rocker's happily ever after.

Matt Logan and Tessa Baker are driven by high-powered careers and both very determined ... determined never to let anyone get too close. But the attraction is there, and it leads them to one night spent together; a night neither can forget. They both try very hard to sidestep each other, which proves impossible.
When Matt decides to take a chance, Tess takes one too, albeit a tentative one. She shocks him with her knowledge of restored motorcycles, and he opens up about his past. Baby steps lead them to more, and the rest is just amazing.
Second in the Redfall Series and a don’t miss. You won’t be able to put down BB Miller and Leslie Carson's book before the end, and that’s a promise.

I received an ARC copy of this book. It is a wonderful follow up to the Redfall Dream Series #1.

I love the conflict portrayed between the two main characters. The addition of Matt's background made his character stand out.

It's well paced, detailed without bogging the reader down. A great, engrossing escape from the mundane intricacies of life.

Matt and Tessa are a couple of proud and independent individuals who've been so wrapped up in their careers that relationships and settling down were not even on their radar. From vastly different life trajectories, their compatibility isn't likely, but it manages to work. With their friends backing them up, they make space in their busy lives for each other. It gives them both someone to lean on and to relax with.

Cute couple, cute story.

Matt Logan and Tessa Baker come from completely different backgrounds but the attraction and chemistry is undeniable. Real life situations and maturity of the characters, openness, acceptance and love make this an awesome read. Smooth writing, dual POV, sweet banter and great secondary, supportive characters add to it. Definitely a story worth reading.

4 1/2 Stars

This story has everything I have come to expect from these two talented storytellers. Chemistry between Matt Logan and Tessa Baker was evident from the first book even if a relationship was not on their to do list, this is a couple that fights through the past to stay together. The story does tackle some serious issues that Matt needs to address before he can have an HEA. I love the support of Matt's band mates when things get tough and the importance of family, whether related by blood or not. There were two characters introduced that left an impression on me and I don't know if we will see them again but I would hope to. Looking forward to reading Cam's story next.

Although this second book of the series could be read alone, I highly recommend picking up Rock The Dream first to have a better experience. The background info is covered, but the depth comes from knowing the characters intimately. Carson & Miller do an excellent job of writing characters with so much more than surface level personalities. I feel in love with the caring heart of Kennedy in book 1, but Matt took my breath away. And I didn’t expect that from a known manwhore. The honest conversation between Matt and Tessa are a pleasure to read. No unnecessary drama, no whiny spoiled rock stars, no judgmental women turned- heroine. Just honest desire, heartache and love. A terrifying incident left me fearful and tearful asthey battled the worst, only to find their truth.

Well this was the first book I have read from these authors and loved it. I kind of went out of order and read this one first but will go back and read the first one. Loved how the story flowed as someone who was not use to being loved and finding out how good it can be. Tess was working her dream job when she met Matt and the rest of his band working to fulfill the dreams of sick children. She never thought she would fall for Matt but they both find they can't live without one another.

I can't wait to read more books in this series.

The story just flows, it is intense and addicting, Matt needs to find a way to overcome his demons to get what he always wanted, his chemistry with Tessa just grows after the first book in the series and let me tell you these books are getting better and better. I am a Redfall Dream fan.

Where do I start?! I'm so in love with the Redfall boys and I can't get enough of them! After finishing Rock The Dream a couple of days ago I had to jump straight into Live your Dream and wow I was not disappointed! I absolutely loved Matt and Tessa's story. My heart went out to Matt with hearing about his background and how he ended up being a musician. Tess was 100% perfect for him! They are adorable together. It was very moving and I needed tissues a few times! I loved how the story went in a different direction when I thought something else was going to happen.
Absolutely amazing and I'm about to buy and start Cam's book now (sorry hubby!)!
I never want this series to end!!!

This book came highly recommended, and I'm glad that I took that advice. It was such a wonderful book - absolutely loved it. I did read book 1 in the series first, which I'm glad that I did. Definitely helped me understand some of the characters and issues a bit better. But what can I say about Matt & Tessa? Loved their characters, the realness between them.....yes he was a rockstar, but he stayed very grounded due to his upbringing. And Tessa, I want to be her friend. Loved her character a lot.

I cannot say enough good things about this book, but I don't want to say to much to spoil it for others. Excited to read more in the series!
