Once finishing book four of this series it took me a bit to calm down about the direction that the author was bringing this story. I took a bunch of deep breathes, let the reality of the situation that Branford and Alexandra have been placed in sink in and put my big girl panties on to head into this fifth book. Overall, I thought the author did a fantastic job with this fifth book.

”Please…please do not let this come to a pass. Do not let our people suffer another war because I cannot give my kingdom an heir.”

It’s a clever, well written, and within a few pages I actually understood the critical situation their kingdom is in with King Edgar just recently crippling them in war. Branford didn’t have many choices other than lie with another. The kingdom needs an heir immediately or he will be forced to deny his wife and marry Princess Whitney… WTF right?

description

Branford struggles with his love for his wife, King Edgar’s threats, a crippled kingdom and bedding another. Yep he cheats but well Alexandra approves as they have no other choice. Their love is tested, their hearts broken and Alexandra has slowly found her voice. King Camden’s health pushes the time restraints and this book though a quick read was impossible to put down.

”You should not have agreed,” he said. “You should have told me to choose another. Even as a servant, your life would have been better without me.”

The story ends with a cliff which I totally saw coming yet am glad things may possibly take a turn for the better going into the sixth book of this series. I’m not a historic romance fan however I’ve had a blast reading this series. For those who don’t want to try this sixth book because of the concubine situation keep an open mind because I found that Shay Savage handled it well!

UPDATE:

Dear Shay Savage,

If you have the hero cheat on his wife in book 5 of the series for an heir I will never read your books again. You will officially be the most untrustworthy author I've ever come across. Please don't do this to your readers. This would be a major betrayal and completely unforgivable. Don't do it. Please.

The Concubine is book 5 in the Unexpected Series and to tell you the truth the title of this installment was quite an “unexpected” surprise for me! I am a reader that hates love triangles. I despise cheating. And yet, this unexpected turn of events in the series was truly magnificent, and this installment is by far my favorite in the entire series. I know you are now questioning my self assessment as a reader, but truthfully, I was so fearful to jump into this one and hot damn! I am so glad that I did! If you have any questions at all in your mind about not continuing this journey, let me answer your question now. KEEP READING! DON’T STOP! Have faith in Branford and Alexandra and just hang on tight for the ride of your life! A ride that will leave you breathless and begging for more!

"You must do this, Branford."
Sir Branford and Alexandra are very sexually attuned to one another. Unable to keep their hands off of each other, the idea that she has not been able to get pregnant once in all of those times together is almost unimaginable. And yet, for some reason, the two cannot produce an heir. Branford is forced to take a concubine and to soften the blow; he brings a friend of Alexandra’s for his concubine into their castle. Although Alexandra is heartbroken and struggling to understand her role, it is Branford that suffers the greater destruction. Unable to grasp his betrayal to his love, he feels like he has once again let her down. As the two are physically pulled away, an emotional wall begins to emerge out of nowhere and further tears them apart. Although Alexandra does everything she can to keep Branford secure, he is so broken that he continuously tries to push her away.
"How can you still bear to be in my presence?"
Told in Alexandra’s POV, The Concubine was quite a shot to the gut and the heart. I cannot imagine being placed in such a heartbreaking position. I was terrified for Alexandra as she has grown so strong throughout this journey. How could she possibly understand her husband laying with another woman? And yet, in the end, the experience only strengthened their love for each other and brought them to an even better understanding of the depth of the love that they share. I had 100 percent faith in the talents of Ms. Savage to bring me safely through this heartbreaking plot twist, and she delivered above and beyond anything I could have possibly imagined.

"You complete me."
Overall, what I feared to be a heartbreaking read, turned out to be my absolute favorite of the entire series. I feel that when love is tested beyond comprehension, and you survive, it is a true testament to the strength of these characters and their love! With this ending, I have no doubt that more passion, healing and some heavy-handed revenge will be on the menu. I can only imagine the brutality that Sir Branford is going to unleash on his adversaries, and I simply cannot wait. This series is simply stunning and by far one of my faves of the year! I am completely hooked and cannot wait for more!!!!

When I began book one of this series, I didn’t look at the titles of the rest of the books. I would have NEVER read this book had I known what was to take place. However, I can honestly say it was written so well, with such tact, that this is my favorite book of the series so far.

This doesn’t mean that I necessarily enjoyed the angst and heartache. It was VERY difficult to read, but I was so impressed at how this hurtful subject was discussed and handled. What this couple went through was written so painfully honest it had me tearing up.

Book one was like reading a childhood princess and knight innocent love story. By book five, the REAL of what it means to be in the noble family was graphically written. Your life is not your own, you are there for your people, you make difficult decisions, and do things you don’t want to.

This story made me realize how I often view stories from one side, never thinking of what it would do to a head-over-heels, madly in love with his wife kind of man. This completely RUINED him, physically and mentally he couldn’t cope.

If you want the details, there are here.

Yes, I wished they could have solved the very obvious reason she couldn’t get pregnant BEFORE all of this, and I don’t want to read this one again, but I will say it was written very well.

This is such a beautiful love story. If you feel you can handle this incredibly divisive topic, I highly recommend this series.

Book five in Shay Savage’s Unexpected Circumstances series takes Alexandra and Brandford’s story in a direction which I am expecting a few readers are going to be less than happy with.

I can understand why, and the title gives you the lowdown as to what this installment is about, but for me this was still a stellar read, even if the subject matter would usually bring me out in hives, it is definitely in keeping with the time and is an integral part to the story for a few reasons that become more apparent as it unfolds. And to be honest although important Shay didn’t dirty up the love growing between Alexandra and Brandford by offering the Concubine aspect in a graphic way, it was there, but wasn’t massively detailed.

"Regardless of the muscles in my body… you are so much stronger than I"

The situation as a whole again brings out the worst in Brandford and the best in Alexandra, I loved that once again this (not-so)common Handmaid, displayed just how noble she really was. Our King-in-waiting is now so in love with his wife that the pressure of producing an heir by any means literally makes him sick to his stomach, and the closeness they share is threatened as he starts to pull away from her.

"What if I fail this test?"

And once again its Alexandra that bolsters him up. I am not sure I could necessarily be as agreeable as she was about the whole situation, but the one thing that stays true even during this new bump in their road is the strength of their love for each other.

Being his was worth the difficulties that came with being his wife.”

The big reveal in this one was as I had expected it to be, after a few hints dropped a couple of books ago, but once again the author left me hanging right at the good point!

Things are definitely heating up in the Kingdom of Silverhelm, and I cannot wait to see how Brandford reacts to the revelations at the end of this episode. The Apprehension is due for release 9th August, and although I am eager to read it, I am a little sad that this series is drawing to a close, the best is definitely yet to come!

Initially my decision on whether to read this book will be based on whether did Branford sleep with concubine. So,I planned to wait for my friends to read it first before i do. But the ARC just keep taunting me in my kindle and I surrender to the temptation. I'm weak.

Anyway, thank goodness I didn't go down that path. That's is so unfair to the story and to Branford. There are so much more than just black and white. I usually don't want to give out spoiler for ARC review, but in this case I decided to hell with it, there are enough details circulating the site anyway. For those who are curious or those who need to know what happen before diving in or for those who decided they don't want to read it, here goes...

Did Branford actually do the deed? How does it happen? What actually took place? Will you as a reader survive it?

Despite everything Alexandra and Branford love is stronger than ever. Understandably so, it takes a lot trust and love for them to survive this. Most other couples will just crash and burn. I'm rooting for them so hard and with the revelation, which I already have guess much earlier, I can't wait for the next one. I can definitely foresee happiness in the horizon for our dearest couple in the next two books.

Rant Review. Spoilers Galore

I vomited. A lot. As expected with the overall theme of this book. But the reason why I am giving it a one-star rating isn't because of the cheating itself. It's because of how the characters were acting and how they went about everything.

Let me explain: Okay, so. He cheated. If we consider the timeline of the book, a king fucking (excuse my being crude) his concubine in order to get an heir was a common practice. It wasn't unheard of back then.

So I guess I wasn't mad about it; I got over it pretty quickly (not really). What pissed me of so much was the way Bradford was acting. I guess it's the author's way of making it a little better for the readers -- hell if I know. He was so obviously reluctant to bed the other woman. (Yawn)

He had a right to be angry. That's fine. But he had the nerve to act as if he was THE ONLY INJURED party in the whole situation. He moped around, shut Alexandra out completely after fucking the concubine -- disregarding her feelings. He completely churned her affections making her feel like she was unwanted. How dare he?

Let's face it, Alexandra didn't have it easy -- in fact, in my opinion, she had it worse. It wasn't easy for her. She was insecure with her position as the future queen, as his wife to begin with but to know that she couldn't give him an heir and to have her husband get that from some other woman? (Oops sorry, not some other woman-- her best friend. My bad.)

The way he acted was disgusting. Revolting. Same thing. I just lost all my respect for him.

And Alexandra, silly little Alexandra. There's a fine line between being too nice and being too nice that bordered on STUPIDITY. I wish she would stop being a fucking matyr and start standing up for herself! Did all women have zero back bone back then? I'm curious.

She was too nice, too accepting, too stupid and TSTL basically. Instead of her crying her eyes out, it was the other way. SHE WAS THE ONE WHO had to console Bradfort and his sensitive feelings over and over again. Like I said, she was simply..... too nice.

And when she had his concubine describe her experience with her husband, I really wanted to strangle her. To Bradfort's credit, he didn't really enjoy it (much) and she didn't even orgasm but get this: Alexandra was so sorry for Hadley, the concubine because she will never know the experience of being pleasured by a man.......... I'm sorry...... what?

And of course she also had to console Hadley because Hadley felt so awful. And after that they had some girl talk and all was well!!!!!!!!! How cute.

I mean. What did I just read?! And don't get me started on that ending. I feel cheated. So cheated that I just want to bawl my eyes out tbh.

------------------

Okay. So I will be reading this. I haven't read any spoilers but I'm pretty sure how it's going to go. I will probably vomit and cry, vomit and cry, vomit and cry and I'll probably HATE BRADFORT SO SO MUCH AFTER THIS. BUT. I have to read this one.

Everyone who knows me knows just how much I hate cheating. I deserve a trophy for this.

My spoiler from book #4 review:

Updates for this book: will keep this updated as I learn more.

I was right about the tea. How? - its been done so many times. Story is: blah, blah, yawn, cliché after cliché. H=all about him - walks around posturing and having temper tantrums. h=doormat, TSTL and gets upset because H won't pay her any attention or have sex with her while he is boinking the concubine. An all-time low for this author - didn't think it could get any worse after Bastian's Storm (curse of the sequel), ultimate betrayal of readers with ending of Evan Arden series, Commodity, and now this series - horribly written IMHO. I read a lot of cheating books - I guess its hard to come up with new story ideas and actually execute (write) them. Maybe she needs to throw away all the cut scenes from Transcendence and come up with an original story. I forgot I pre-ordered this one - so, I returned. Won't be on any bandwagon to read another one by her anytime soon. Expected better of Savage than this tripe. I know another reader who holds a grudge - I'm holding a mean grudge.

Did you see the title. Yeah you read that right. My poor freaking heart can’t take this shit.

The fifth installment of the UE serial series gives our heart its work out. As King Camden’s health fails, the need for Bradford to produce an heir and take the throne grows more urgent. Although it is the last thing either of these two want, their people are relying on them to ensure their kingdom is safe and with so much unrest an heir is the only way to calm the masses. Even if Alexandra is willing to do whatever it takes, can Branford stand to hurt the woman he’s come to love, if it is what is demanded of him?

But if that wasn’t enough to have you on the edge of your seat, there is so much more that is developing. I have no idea how Shay Savage worked so much story into such a small space. It was such a thrilling ride – from start to finish. My heart broke, I willed myself to understand the circumstances and by the final pages of this installment I was ready to beg for more.

I know that each reader will have mixed feelings about this read, as I did myself--- but, honestly, it could have been worse. I normally HATTTTEEE other men/women interactions and dreaded this installment like crazy, and yet in the end I somehow liked it.

I know a lot of people might be hating on author Shay Savage right now but please don't. That's not cool.

With the so called "cheating" aspect aside, stakes have certainly risen in this novel with Branford desperately needing an heir and lies and treachery making itself a very pertinent factor in this series. While I cannot divulge anymore, as to would basically give out the entire plot and spoilers, I would advise readers who are sensitive to ow themes to have a breather as it does get better at the end. I mean, remember the saying "there is always a light at the end of th tunnel?". Well, I believe this pertains to The Concubine.

Can't wait for bk6!!! And then the final book in the series, bk7!! Woohoo!!

The 1 star is not because the H cheated (cheating in books is not a trigger for me).
The low score is because the H was a selfish 'bleep bleep bleeepppppp'...he knew it was hard for the h to accept the concubine but she was trying to stay strong and instead of being there for her in this difficult time, it was all about him...his tears, his tantrums, his feelings, his hurt....ahhhhhhhh! And he started to ignore the h and give her the cold shoulder.
I won't even start on how much the h was a doormat...she took it to another level.

*ARC received from author as part of blog tour*

If this serial were all one book, I would say that this is my least fave part. As such, I suppose this is my least fave book. The title alone tells you what this is about. Waaaaaah!!!

Luckily, this is Shay. Luckily, Shay understood what romance readers like me want and need with their H&h’s. Luckily, Shay made me understood its relevance. And luckily, Shay spared me the details as much as she can. Whew!

The burden placed on Brantford’s and Alexandra’s royal shoulders cannot be easily shrugged off. Things have to happen for the sake of the kingdom. But at the end of the day, it’s just this one man and one woman who just wanted to make sure each other is protected, loved and cherished… Simple needs vs. royal responsibilities… Dilemma, dilemma…

Oh, and that ending, I’ve had my suspicions, HAH!!!! Thank you, Shay, for vindicating my feelings.:D

Book 6 here I come!!!

(Since the author had a whole thread up about how this H didn’t “cheat,” because the h knew about him sticking his dick in ow’s pussy, so let me say instead, H FUCKS another woman besides the h after marriage. He FUCKS her friend.

Now I'm not going to justify it by saying it was normal for the times and all that. But what I will say is if Alexandra was okay with it then why shouldn't I be? And even though Savage had Branford go there she was still sensitive to the reader. We didn't get many details (but what we did get we know it's very clinical), we felt Branford's anguish over having to perform this duty, and most of all I liked that the concubine was Alexandra's friend. I would have hated it if she was some smirking bitch trying to make a play for Alexandra's position.

Alexandra really stepped up in this book. This is what I've been waiting for from her. Where Branford is very reactive and wears his feelings on his sleeve, Alexandra has a quiet strength. She's supportive, she wants to do her duty, but most of all she wants to be Branford's wife. She wants to care for him and share his burden. She's also becoming more confident with the idea of being queen. I just loved her.

This installment surprised me. I'm not someone that is turned off by cheating in books, it gives me that delicious angsty feeling. I devoured this book overnight because I had to know what happens. And I wasn't disappointed. But I was more engrossed in getting to what many of us have guessed as the cause of Alexandra's infertility and what it is doing to their relationship and what it means for their future when I assumed I would be more obsessed with the concubine. I wasn't. Once again we're left at a cliffhanger but we were also wonderfully teased at what's to come.

If cheating in books, no ifs, ands, or buts is a deal breaker, you won't like this book. But if you can look deeper you may agree with me this didn't feel like cheating at all and I applaud Savage for putting it in. It really did feel necessary imo. But I'll leave that for you to decide for yourself.

I'm looking forward to the next installment. Well done!

I give up. I was patient with this series, I enjoyed the first few books and endured it even though it's a serial but after this one I'm going to have to throw in the towel.

This one touched a hard limit for me. I knew when I first started reading it that it wasn't going to turn out as I hope and prayed it would and I was fucking right. What a waste of money. *sigh*

I honestly felt betrayed by the author. I think we have to part our ways. LOL

Well ladies, I'm going to forgive Shay Savage for book four annnnnnnd probably this one. I honestly couldn't read it fast enough. We all know or think we know what's going to happen, however there is absolutely nothing we can do but read on. I've said it a million times and will say it again, this series keeps getting better and better! Each time I think I can't be shocked, I am. Although, I did finally figure out what in the hell was going on before I was actually told, it was still thrilling to read.

"I had not given him an heir. Somewhere, deep in the back of my mind, I knew there would be consequences." ~ Alexandria

As much as I didn't want to see anything come between this beautiful couple, the choices for Branford are getting few and far between. He is pressured by the King and of course that awful King Edgar and his skanky daughter Whitney. Bradford needs an heir to save his kingdom as well as his people.

"Everything with you was so...so perfect. And then, every choice I made slowly destroyed that perfection and left me with what I have now-a broken kingdom, frightened subjects, a tyrant ready to pounce on all I hold dear..." ~ Branford

I really did feel sorry for the guy this time around. It isn't easy to be in his shoes right now. Lives hanging on the decision for him to basically cheat on his wife for the good of his kingdom. He's lost and torn and most of the time can't even face the woman he loves more than life itself.

"...being of royalty would never guarantee an ease of life." ~ Alexandria

Unfortunately Alexandria is learning not everything in a palace is as it seems from the outside. Sunniva lets her know what is expect of her now and when she takes the throne. It's all so clinical and unemotional, yet she knows it will change everything. Alexandria always thought those that sat higher than her had it made, never realizing their lives aren't really their own. They belong to the people.

Of course the book is well written and I am once again clamoring for the next installment. I'd like to thank Shay Savage for getting them out as quickly as promised and say sorry for all the bad names I called her after the last book.

gaaaah, i love this story!

okay, so no one should be surprised at the shenanigans going on in this installment. it's titled very appropriately. that doesn't make it any less heart-breaking for me. however, the only thing that really makes it heartbreaking is that I don't live in those times so of course my brain cannot compute what is happening. but if you take your today brain out of the equation, it all makes perfect sense. and not only does it make sense, but it's really important to the overall story being told.

I have to once again say that Shay Savage has some serious skills people. These installments have been thrilling and perfectly unfolded and just plain captivating. I'm on the edge of my seat on every single one. And she just keeps surprising me over and over again! And just when you think calm waters ahead ... BAM!

And now we wait .....

I don't think my heart can take it anymore. I can't remember the last time I have ever gasps this bad of a book hangover ever. Alexandra & Branford still have no heir and King Camden health is declining. So now the most heart wrenching thing happens, Branford must bring in a concubine. He refuses but the alternative is for denounce his marriage and marry Princess Whitney. Alexandra loves Branford and will stand by his side, but when King Edgar pushes will it finally be to much for her. My heart breaks for both Branford and Alexandra, you can feel the emotions of these characters as u read. The ending was phenomenal and I can't want to read the next book in this series

Reviewing book #4 and #5 together because of the continuation of the books.

The Shortcoming and The Concubine have cause quite a bit of drama between readers. The Shortcoming brings a lot of new people into the story and war. But that is still not as alarming as what the ending of the book brings. For the short period Alexandra and Brandford have been married, they still are childless; to historical romance, heirs and thrones are always a thing, so understandably that cause a stir and gives rival kingdoms a reason to get involved in the plot. The ending of the book suggests that another woman will be entering the plot. As a concubine.

I remember when I read that part the first time - as a fanfiction - I  was shocked. But more importantly I was on the edge, I wanted to read it, I wanted to devour it, I wanted to know how these two will get over it and read it I did. Why? Because it's historical romance. Unlike contemporary - in which sex with another person is cheating - historical romance - history itself - has a history of blurring the lines and getting things done (heir) no matter what.

I've never been a King in my lifetime, but I guess taking my wife and saying screw it I'm not doing my duty - which I've been groomed for my entire life - and living this place, you people are mean and you suck, I'm in love with my wife and the kingdom can go fuck itself. Said no King. Ever.

What I don't understand though is the double standard. The Handmaid made it clear that Princess Whitney was supposed to be the one that Brandford should have chosen; instead, he bypassed her and basically ridiculed her in front of her court. But literally not one reader gave a crap about her. No one said, you know what, there's something going on between those two and he treats her like crap, shame on him. But when it comes to the lead character, everyone looses their mind.

You either want your historical books to be historically accurate, or you don't. You either want your male lead character to be noble or you don't. You can't choose moments and reject others. Books have moments we love and moments we hate, those can be back to back, or in different parts of the book, we hate some parts because we are emotionally invested in the story and it personally hurts us; but it hurts because we love it. Can you truly hate a book you've loved so far because you hate a part of it?

That rant being said, I understand that The Concubine may not be everyone's cup of tea and cheating is a no-no for a lot of readers but also it would help to keep in mind the setting of the story. This isn't set in 2016, it's the medieval times where Kings would take mistresses from their Queen's court no less - anyone who didn't love watching The Tudors? Because he was all over that court. Having a character like Branford so torn and so broken up about it but also Alexandra in this huge character arc should be noted. Kings and Queens are not ordinary book characters that can afford to break the rules and go out of the norm - for them - just so the plot can be pleasant.

Overall, I love Shay Savage's books and I look forward to the next one, that will be a stunning book!

I went into book 5 with a whole lot of trepidation. I didn’t want it to be true, but based on the title alone, I knew that there was no way that Branford and Alexandra could escape what needed to be done so that they could protect their kingdom and their people.

After 1 1/2 years without a pregnancy, Branford and Alexandra are out of options and because King Camden is in poor health, they’re out of time. I completely understand a King and Queen’s duty to their kingdom; during this time period, there’s a certain protocol to follow in order to keep the lineage going, which is exactly what must be done due to Alexandra’s inability to get pregnant. But, the swiftness of the concubine’s introduction into their lives is due to King Edgar’s need for revenge and his instigations are what leads to the strain in Branford and Alexandra’s relationship more so than Branford’s duty to produce an heir by other means.

While readers will no doubt have a hard time with Branford’s need/use of Hadley as his concubine, Shay Savage does illustrate his disgust and rage with what must be done, and even though Branford does not handle this circumstance well and both neglects and ignores Alexandra as he performs his “duty,” his actions hold true to the kind of man he’s been in the series. Branford doesn’t know how to emotionally handle everything that has occurred since his abrupt marriage to Alexandra and now that there are genuine feelings between them, he’s completely out of sorts with how to manage his duties to his kingdom and his duties to his wife.

Alexandra seems to constantly be the sacrificial lamb in Branford’s war with King Edgar, and it’s reached the point where she feels wholly inadequate and unfit to be Queen of Silverhelm. But Alexandra’s pure heart and love for her husband, I believe, will see them through this dark time and hopefully, their relationship as well as their kingdom will be all the better because they decided to weather the storm together.

One of my favorites of the series so far!

When I started The Concubine, I didn’t really know what to expect. I couldn’t imagine Branford sleeping with someone else, even unwillingly! I thought he’d fight it left and right to the end. So I was taken back when he actually did do it. Branford’s reaction to it all was appropriate. He hated himself afterwards. And even so, Hadley was dressed from head to toe, no skin covering and he didn’t touch her. So I guess if it had to happen…

I was iffy about Alexandra’s reaction though. She didn’t take it well at first, of course. But then she just accepted it as her duty. On one hand, that’s good. It’s showing she’s a character who understands what it means to be a lady of the time. On the other hand I wish she fought it more.
I was pretty much in a constant state of shock the whole time. This book made me so sad and angry but I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The writing was flawless and it definitely was a part of the greatness of this book.

The ending took me by so much surprise. But looking back, something about her seemed too convenient… I can’t wait for Branford’s reaction. For what she did and especially since it just made his sex with Hadley pointless.

I don’t know if I’ve ever talked about how much I HATE Princess Whitney but I am now! Ugh she makes me so angry! She was present in this novel, a constant threat hanging over everyone’s heads. Hadley as the concubine was the final stage in allowing Branford have a heir and keep Alexandra as a wife. Although I want Alexandra to be the one to be pregnant of course, ugh! If Hadley has to be it to prevent the marriage between Whitney and Branford than I accept! Cause holy jeez she’s so…so…aghhh!! Shay for sure created a character that we all just love to hate.

When I finished this book a day ago, I had a ton going through my mind, but due to work, now I’m finally writing this and my mind is blanking. I wish I could give this the review it deserves. I just know this was a fantastic read and I am so dying for the next

**Carla's Five Star Review**

As this book begins, we learn that King Camden's health has greatly deteriorated. With the King dying, it won't be long until Branford is crowned the new King. To prove himself to his kingdom, Branford realizes that he must provide a heir. However, neither Alexandra nor Hadley have been able to provide a child. If that wasn't upsetting enough, King Edgar won't stop demanding that King Branford denounce his wife and his concubine. King Edgar is dead set on Princess Whitney becoming the queen and producing an heir of royal blood. While they are in session, Parnell shows up with some news that has the power to change everything.

I know a lot of readers will become angry with Branford when he is forced to do something that we in today's time find unforgivable. Please remember that this story is set in Medieval times, and this was quite accepted back then. Once again, Shay has left us with a huge cliffhanger, but the next book, The Apprehension, is set to release August 9th.

This is a great historical romance. Even if you are not a fan of historical reads, I am sure you will absolutely love this series.
