Kira’s finally mine.
Mine.
And nobody and nothing is going to take her from me. I’ll fight for her, to the death. Do anything for her.
There’s no more living without her. No more holding back my feelings.
If only it was enough.
We’re surrounded every day.
Watched.
Stalked.
Judged.
Everyone knows us. Now, they suspect. The odds are stacked against us more than before.
We live in the shadows, hiding our love from the entire world.
But not for long.
I refuse to live like this anymore.
I’ll do whatever it takes to own her. I’m waging a dark war against those that stand against us.
And I will win.
That girl is going to be mine forever, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

Where to start? I originally was going to rate this three stars, but I slept on it and decided that although this book and the previous one drove me NUTS, they also sucked me in and kept me turning the pages, so somewhere between 3 and 4 seems to be about right.

description

I'll start with what I enjoyed about this series. The author's writing is FLAWLESS. It flows amazingly well. The POV changes are seamless. The characters are distinctive in their voices. The plot (though a little too OTT in the drama department for ME) was nonetheless interesting, and as I said, kept me turning the pages. The sex was SMOKIN and the sex scenes were plentiful.

My issue was KIRA (in a nutshell). I just never felt she grew as a character, unfortunately. In book two we get a Brayden that shows tremendous growth. He finally mans up and gets his head out of his ass. And while I admired Kira's ability to hold a grudge in book two (who could blame the girl) by the end of that book I was EXHAUSTED of the back and forth and was hoping book three would be this couple moving forward and maturing into a more stable adult relationship.

I didn't get that. The continuous throwing of Brayden's past in his face by Kira (that was understandable in book two) grew annoying and tiresome in book three. I get what he did was VERY hurtful. I really do, but at some point, a decision needed to be made to put the past behind them and move forward. EVERY TIME they argued or had a slight disagreement she was throwing what he did back into his face like a three-year-old. Even by the end, I didn't feel like she had TRUELY let it go.

description

Of course, this wasn't helped by the authors when every other page we are reminded of what he did in the form of OW grabbing his junk. Showing the heroine videos of him having sex etc. These characters (in books two & three are 18 and 21) but he had a past worthy of a 40-year-old. I also hated the way she basically strung Austin along...sigh.

Lastly, the whole "forbidden stepbrother" angle just didn't work for me. I struggled to see WHY this was such an issue. Thier parents had only been married 3.5 years (I am pretty sure.) They grew up as friends and were already starting something before their parents got married. It seemed a bit over the top that people would be throwing around "INCEST" and calling him her "BROTHER" and that they'd have to go to such great lengths to hide their relationship. *shrug*

In any case, as I said above, even though this had several issues for me, the authors still managed to suck me right in and had me hooked enough to read boon one and two back to back. So kudos to them for that.

Finally! The conclusion to the NEED Series!

In the conclusion, Own brings us the story of Kira and Braden; what comes from their forbidden romance, especially after that cliffhanger ending in book two.

Now that Braden has realized that he can’t live without Kira, nothing is going to stand in his way. He pushed her away for far too long. Kira may not be able to say no to Brayden, and she may love him, but she hasn’t forgiven him.

Own is the push-pull love story of these two kids who fell in love and had everything ripped away when their parents got married. But escaping off to college isn’t enough to allow these two to be together. Too many of their friends from their hometown are around and with a C* of an ex to contend with, Brayden and Kira appear to continue to struggle.

As the story progresses, I wanted to see Kira grow up a bit more. She seemed to continue on with a bit of immaturity that was driving me crazy in the first two books. Brayden was pretty perfect though. I loved that he was trying so hard to fix it all so he could finally have her. I loved that this book opened up with that scene in the prologue that set the pace for the WHOLE series.
Before wrapping this up – let’s talk about the S-E-X. HOLLY MOSES. If you thought Brayden was intense when he was fighting his attraction to Kira, just wait till you see it unleashed!

Overall, I loved this series. I had patience as I waited for each book and I couldn’t help but love these characters from the first page. Own falls about a four star read, just shy of making it over the hump to a five star. And really that just comes down to not getting the growth in Kira that I expected and sort of need to happen earlier in this installment.

So much drama. So much angst. So much eye roll.

I can't with this book - hell with this series. The first book was kinda cute in the "I want you but can't have you" kind of way. Then, it turned creepy and possessive and wrong. So....so wrong. It's not even the stepbrother/stepsister thing either...that was a non-issue for me. It was the constant, "I'll kill anyone that touches Kira" and the "I'll fucking rip his head off if he even breathes near Kira" and the "I'll fucking cut his dick off if he even looks at Kira" bullshit. Over and over and over again.

Brayden was the epitome of caveman brouhaha and it pissed me the fuck off. Kira was the epitome of naive and clueless and it pissed me the fuck off. By the end, the OTT drama, the caveman antics and the back and forth between the two, I was so done. Oh, and the non-stop sex...there's that too. By the way, there is a saying...it "too much of a good thing".

I will most definitely not be reading the next in the series - I can't afford to have my eyes stuck in the back of my head from rolling them so much.

On to the next!

4.5 STARS!!!

I'm a sucker for the step-brother genre. It's my guilty pleasure - the whole "forbidden" really makes my heart beat faster.

Even if you don't like the step-brother books, you'll want to read this series.

What I love about this book:
~Brayden. He's amazing. I love the growth of this character since the beginning. I love how much he loves Kira. He's smoking hot and won't let anything get in between him and his woman.
~Chemistry is smoking hot. Sex is hot and plentiful.
~The writing completely sucked me in. I don't know how two authors can make it look so seamless but they did. I was up late turning the pages.
~ We FINALLY get a HEA.

What I didn't like:
~Length of time between the last book and this one. OMG this wait was excruciating. It made me debate if I wanted to re-read the first two books before diving into this one (which I didn't because I didn't have time).
~Kira drove me nuts. I like that she isn't a doormat, but maybe I would have liked a bit less drama.

Bottom line: must read series!!!

I love Brayden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1-1.5 Stars (2.5-3 Stars for the whole trilogy)
I absolutely HATE it when you read a long-ass trilogy, one that you've been waiting more than a year to be completed, and get to the end to discover there is no epilogue! Just a snippet of the next book in the series, about the secondary characters history, that will be released in 12-18 months! WTF? No thank you!
I love a good slow burn story, but this was just ridiculous. 3 looooooong books that could've been told in 1 with everything wrapped up in the last 15-20%. If you read the first 2 books than prepare yourself for more of the same damn back-and-forth "he's your stepbrother", "he hurt me for years", "she'll never forgive me" drama. Blah, blah, blah. And the sex scenes? They had to atleast have accounted for 50-60% of the book with the same adjectives being used every time! Ugh, I wanted to yell at the authors to find a thesaurus!
I loved K.I. Lynn's Breach series, but this one is sorely lacking and it's a long stretch for me to think of reading something new from her again in the future. Right now I'm so exhausted from this book that I have no drive to start a new book from anyone!
As always I hate leaving a bad review but I just couldn't help it with this one. I could go on & on about how much this book/story irked me, but I'll stop here and just try to forget about it.
Rant over....

5 angsty stars

Three books... Three books of me wanting to hate Brayden, of me getting so mad I can feel it in my gut, and yet slowly loving him.

Brayden and Kira have known each other since childhood. They have always felt more, but what happens when their parents marry each other?

The push and pull between Brayden and Kira is a dream come true for readers that are into angst. Reading their journey has invoked so much emotion from me, from hate, to love, to sadness, to heart ache. I felt as if I was living through these characters, as if I could feel everything they were feeling.

KI Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco write so well together. The story flowed so good.

I have said this before and I'll say it again, Brayden is mine! I loved him even when I hated him. His love for Kira was beautiful.

Kira kept herself guarded and I understand her reasoning, but her love for him never wavered.

I thought it ended perfectly, even though I was sad to see their story end.

Y’all, I know the step-brother romance craze is basically over, but I have been WAITING for Own for forever. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m so glad to have finally read Brayden and Kira’s finale. These two have been through so much together – if you love messy drama, this series is it for you. And the best part? You don’t have to torture yourself with the wait for the next installment! The Need series is definitely one of the better step-brother romances I’ve read, so if you love forbidden romances, I’d recommend giving this a try. It’s also insanely hot too – Brayden and Kira are ON FIRE together!

I love Brayden, I do, but I don’t know how to handle this. We aren’t dating. We aren’t even boyfriend and girlfriend.
I don’t know what we are, because loving him doesn’t mean forgiving him.

I’d been dying to read Own ever since finishing Take, and while it wasn’t quite what I expected, I still loved how things ended for Brayden and Kira. Own is basically them trying to overcome the external obstacles that try to break them apart, which I appreciated because I was pretty done with the two of them trying to break themselves apart. I loved seeing both Kira and Brayden fighting for their love and relationship – the connection they have is raw and passionate and meant to be. There is no one else for these two but each other, and though their flawed pasts may cause trouble, as long as Kira and Brayden have each other, they know they’ll be okay.

I would give up everything I have, everything I am, my very life, for her.

If Own had focused mainly on Brayden and Kira’s repairing relationship, I probably would’ve easily given this a five star rating, but there is SO much drama and trouble included in the plot, especially having to do with Brayden’s dick of a father. I wish that the drama had cut down just a little – I love angst, but it was a little overdone in this book. Other than that, I don’t have very many complaints – I did enjoy getting back into Kira and Brayden’s story and finally getting to their HEA!

If you’re looking for a good step-brother romance, the Need series is one of the top ones I’d recommend. The writing is fantastic – the transition between the two POVs is flawless, especially for two authors writing them. The steam is off the charts – Brayden’s filthy mouth is to die for. And there is some fantastic angst to pull at your emotions and make you so invested in these characters. I’m excited for more from K.I. Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco – I’m so happy they’ll be writing more books together! I can’t wait to read Kira’s brother and his girlfriend’s story next!

Own starts off where Take ends. This is the third book in the series and my favorite because I finally got my HEA.I absolutely love stepbrother romances. The forbidden aspect of it just draws me in, but even if you don't like them; this series will knock your socks off.

In this book Kira finally chooses Brayden. To say that I was elated would be a massive understatement.

"If I'm going decide on anyone's love, I know whose I want. Stained, dark, sick, painful, and obsessive, and yet it's the one I'd pick if I could."

In the last book Brayden stole my heart, and in this one he owned it. I can't get over how much he loves Kira, and how he will not let anything stand between them. He fights for her (literally) and will take down anyone who tries to come between them. He is amazing and his character has grown so much throughout the series. His protective nature is highlighted in this book.

"Yeah, I'm that whipped. But I actually don't mind. If being like this means I have her in my life, then I don't give two fucks, because she's mine.
Kira is Mine."

Kira frustrated me in this novel again, A part of me loves the fact that she doesn't let him walk over her, but her reactions tend to air on the dramatic side. I know that Brayden did some questionable things in the past but he is beyond perfect now. I forgave him a long time ago. Thankfully by the second half of the book I was able to love her almost as much as I love Brayden.

The chemistry between these two are off of the charts. The sex scenes were smoldering hot and beyond sexy. I loved the banter that Kira and Brayden shared in the novel, it was similar to how they were in the first book before all of the drama. I caught myself laughing out loud plenty of times during this read.

"Our love is Madness, A sane love can't compare to the depth of our connection, our need for each other on a cellular level. I'd rather have five minutes of this kind of love than a lifetime of any other."

This is the best series that I have read in a long time. The world that the authors built is very realistic and complex. The supporting characters are awesome, I absolutely adore Brayden's mom and Kira's brother. If you are looking for a new series then I highly recommend this one. It is an intense journey but the ending of Own makes it all worth it I promise.

I loved this series, this one had me on the edge of my seat and yelling at my kindle multiple times. If you haven't read either of the first two books, please don't read further, there will be spoilers. I read this book in one long ass sitting with many cups of coffee!
We pick back up where we left off, racing to get Brayden out of jail, after he and Austin went after each other like two men who love the same woman, i am going to miss my hot headed alpha Brayden, but back to the story. So much happens in this book, yes, some of that is some hot-ass alpha sex. More than that, we see Brayden and Kira both grow up and evolve to what they become. I felt Brayden had grown alot in the last book, he matured even more so in Own. Kira is one lucky ass chick. She's got a man, who won't let her go and a brother who would die for her. I wanted to shake her several times, i think the minor age difference between the two shows in how they mature. She had a horrible time looking at and accepting the past, for both of them. I understand why she felt the way she did, Brayden was her everything long before she ever realized he was. The older you get, the easier it gets to accept past mistakes and hopefully not drag the past mistakes into your present and then future.
This was a great series, all three books are out now, so you have no excuse not to read them now!

KI Lynn and N Isabelle Blanco have scored a 5 star trifecta with the Need series. Looking back at my reviews of Need and Take I don't think I had unreasonable expectations on what the series ending would look like. Own is a high drama & super sexy finale that leaves nothing in question and Kira and Brayden get the ending they deserve. This installment isn't as emotionally angsty as books one and two, but these two have enough challenges as they unite against their parents wishes and social hurdles.

The story picks up right where Need left off, but as we get deeper into it the setting changes which greatly affects how Kira and Brayden are able to evolve. As if it were possible I think that maybe Brayden's hormones have increased two-fold. Okay, so yes he's always been a very sexually charged young man, but damn if he isn't more brazen and daring. He's got some stamina that is very enviable ;-) . sometimes it's fun, other times it's shocking. Brayden focuses on Kira while he learns more about his father and the truth about who he is. This is what drives much of the story.

I said much about the family dynamics in reviews for Need and Take and I'm very pleased with how this is flushed out through the series. In Braydens father, Lynn and Blanco create a man who is so twisted he'll leave you feeling icky just having read about him. My suspicions were proven but it was worse then anything I saw coming. Once again, I had a hard time putting this down as I was anxious to discover some of the mystery surrounding Steven Hunt and his transgressions.

Kira does alot of maturing throughout the story. She's definitely more level headed then Brayden but when she's pushed too far...well, she does us proud. She's still confronted by Braydens past which leaves her hurt and causes some drama between them. But all in all, she's come so far and has so much to contend with from such a young age.

This is a fast paced read and once again it was one I really had a hard time putting down when real life interrupted. I definitely felt more confident in the characters and a little less anxious for them. Own was much more a matter of how they would deal with a possible future together and what that would look like. This series is a standout NYA read with a lot of "tropes" that are put together with great finesse. 5 Stars and series recommendation!!

Own was almost one year of waiting, but so worth it! This final installment of Kira and Brayden’s story was one filled with an intense and passionate romance with a lot of angst. It was a great book that I couldn’t stop reading to finally see a HEA for these two. With everything they faced in their relationship their quest to finally be together out in the open was a big journey.

"Let me love you, Kira. Let me show you that you're my everything. You're all I've ever wanted. Please don't let my past influence our future."

Brayden needs to prove his feelings to Kira time and time again. With the mistakes of his past, she’s reticent to engage completely with him and she’s still plagued with doubts that bring tension within the couple. But their relationship is still so electric. The sex scenes are more intense than ever and Brayden lets his dirty mouth do the job. They completely combust everything around them with this incredible chemistry. There's other players in the book that challenge them in their relationships and make them question it by moments. I felt that there’s some parts where Brayden should have been more honest with Kira to prevent this much drama and help her trust him completely. But it’s when there’s tension between them that they’re explosive, so I can’t really complain much!

"My life is calm and chaotic at the same time. While everything is exploding around me, Kira is there. Like the eye of the hurricane, she's the calm in the storm that is my life."

After all these tribulations, I feel that Kira and Brayden deserved to finally love each other in the open! These authors provided the perfect ending to this addictively sexy series. Now, I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Ryan’s story!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Brayden and Kira are back!!!!! Own is the third book in this series. You must read Need and Take before reading Own or you will be lost.

Brayden is determined more then ever to prove to Kira that he is in love with her and totally committed. Kira is still pushing Brayden away even though her resolve is slipping. Why did their parents have to get married in the first place making them stepbrother and stepsister? Jennifer from Brayden's past is determined to ruin them. Brayden's dad is back to his old tricks and there are many surprises headed Brayden and Kira's way.

I could not wait to read this book. Brayden and Kira's story is not one your likely to forget anytime soon. They could have been perfection and then they became related by marriage and along came a negative stigma from others they had to fight against. Brayden has also hurt Kira. He's pushed her away several times. Had a serious girlfriend and then was pretty much a man about town using girls just as much as they were using him. Own takes off right where Take left readers. There are twists and turns you will never see coming I this book too. Actually a quite shocking secret. I loved every second of it and am so happy with the way everything thing turned out. It's a story of fighting against the odds, forgiveness and a love so true nothing could tear it down.

Own does not disappoint and is the perfect ending to this series. I can not wait to have Stay in my hands and you will be just like me when you get to read the sneak peek in the back of own. Thank you KI Lynn and N Isabelle Blanco for writing such a great series.

Omg where do I even begin?! Can I just tell you off the bat that I have a new love. Yeah I'm pretty sure if Brayden was real I would be all over that like a bitch in heat. You have no idea. And I thought I was in love with Nathan from breach before. This is worse. This man I just wish was real. He's so kind caring and sexy as fuck. But sorry okay back to the point.

I couldn't put this down. Honestly I have felt that way before but I'm serious I physically couldn't put this down. It wasn't just the kinky sexy as hell sex scenes either it was the actual story. The moments where you're not sure if they'll work out to the moments when you're certain that some asshole is going to show up and wreck everything. It is all just so enthralling that you literally don't want to put it down. If it hadn't been a holiday I would have ignored everyone and kept reading.

I recommend this because it's a nice bow on the series for now. Loose ends are still hanging around such as Ryan & Dana. But that could come from another book and fuck am I looking forward to it. Those two are as adorable as Brayden and Kira.

All in all this is an amazing story that had drama, sex, cute fluff and just the right amount of soul that makes want to read it again and again. I'm so excited for more stories from this world and hoping for more sexiness in the future.

Amazing work girls. Now stop reading this damn it and go pick up all three of these stories. Now!!!!!!

ARC PROVIDED BY AUTHOR IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW

The final instalment in the ‘Need’ series is here. K.I. Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco have kept me captivated by this series and have put me through the wringer with the back and forth between the two characters. ‘Own’ is a brilliant final chapter to that I give 4.5 stars.

For the past two books Brayden and Kira have struggled with their feelings and the position they were put in because of their parents’ marriage. They have grown up together and been put through so much, supported each other through so much and then when they should have been together they were pushed apart because of circumstance.

NOW, finally they are together but they are under the microscope and having to keep their relationship a secret but we all know that secrets never remain hidden. Brayden is so much better in this book as he tries to prove his love that you fall for him so much more. There is so much emotion that these books put you and the characters through but you just can’t and don’t want to stop reading.

There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested and it really is not your generic forbidden step brother romance as it has so much depth to it. I really felt that the ending was brilliant and fitted the books well. A great series that is so worth reading, truly recommended.

Own is the third book in the Need series by K.I. Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco and needs to be read only after the first two have been read. This is the continuation of Kira and Brayden's story and these cannot be read out of order. This series has captivated me right from the start, but I have to say that it has had it's ups and downs for me. While I was glad to see how things turned out for these two, ultimately I was left with mixed feelings on the series after finishing Own.

Kira and Brayden are finally together, yet they are unable to be together openly. Everyone knows them and they have more going against them than ever. But both Brayden and Kira are determined to do whatever it takes to make their relationship last forever.

I have loved seeing the growth of Brayden over the course of this series. He started out on the immature side, sleeping with almost anything that moved. Yet I really saw him make some progress in the second book of the series and that continued here. What I will tell you though is that I never felt like Kira made the same progress. I wish I had seen more growth from her, and honestly I thought she acted more immature than ever here. She knew everything about Brayden and chose to be with him anyway, yet every time they disagreed she would throw it all back in his face. I understood some of that in book two, but here I felt like it was just too much and she needed to get over it or let him go. These two had as strong of chemistry as ever, with their sex scenes super steamy and hot. But I felt like the authors really did these two a disservice by having Brayden's past constantly thrown in their faces, making Kira's constant harping about it even worse. We didn't really need his ex flings constantly going up to him and grabbing his crotch to prove that he had slept around.

I also felt like the whole forbidden stepbrother bit just didn't work. These two had known each other for years before their parents hooked up, and they had only been married like three and half years.Their connection was already solidly formed at that point and it just didn't make sense why they would suddenly be off limits to each other. The calling them brother and sister and stuff just didn't work for me when considering how they grew up. While I did have these issues with the story, I will also say that I couldn't put these books down. I was captivated from the start and had to know what would happen. I wish that this book had explored a bit more of an adult relationship between these two and that things had been a bit more mature. There was so much drama here that it really just felt too over the top at times. I still liked the series overall, but I think that there was the potential for me to really love it instead of just liking it. I will still read more from these two in the future, and I am looking forward to Ryan's story up next in Stay.

Not Just A RollerCoaster, The Whole Amusement Park!

Can I first just say that I haven't read about such an intense couple in so so long!

Brayden and Kira's love has given me withdrawals now that I'm done reading it. I have spent the past 4 days reading this trilogy and I don't even know what to think about reading next. Today I just kept flipping through different scenes of the book that I loved.
I do have to say that in order for me to have given this book 5 stars, I was very grateful to have read all 3 books together. I highly recommend it bc there will be times when you may want to throw your iPad across your bed and scream but then you're able to move on - whereas if I was left to wait for the second & third book, I would've lost my mind. That being said, this series is well worth the marathon read and this finale of a book was fantastic. It was scorching hot and the plot was so flipping juicy!

"When you’re my girl, the sun will seem to have faded as it will be your light that guides me. When you’re my girl, there’s nothing I can’t do. When you’re my girl, our love will be told in history books as one of the greatest."

This isn't just about 2 people who have known each other since childhood - no - this is about 2 people who have evolved with the true definition of love. From Puppy Love to First Love to Young Love to True, Genuine, Unconditional Love but during that process of defining their love, so much happens and these authors bring you through each stage.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, The REALLY bad, The REALLY hot hot hot, and The REALLY beautiful.

“If I give up on this—give up on you, on us—I give up on any chance of ever being happy.” His head falls forward, resting against mine. “And I don’t want to live a miserable life.”

I honestly have to say that this book did not disappoint in no way and there was no iPad throwing by any means, instead I hugged and squeezed it. I adore this trilogy and I know it will be in my system for a while bc it was that intense and that fulfilling.
It's so great that the authors put the first 2 books together for only .99 and now you can read all 3 bc this book is out to finish the story!
(and they also tease you at the end with something in the future and I almost did cartwheels after I read it)
psst....what about a book about the guy who "helps" them, the one I "loved" with the blue eyes??

Must.Read.

What a series this has been, I was taken on a major roller coaster with Brayden and Kira!

What does a man have to do to prove to the girl that he loves that he's a changed person and she's the only one for him! She's his world.

Brayden has done nothing but show Kira how much he loves her, but Kira still can't find it in her heart to trust the man she loves. She thinks that his past will always be an obstacle between them and she just can't forget what he's done to hurt her. He never deliberately intended to hurt her, he seeked out other women to be able to forget Kira because he knew she was an impossible love for him when they were younger.

But now that Kira is of legal age and they have been going at it like jack rabbits, (I mean literally, this book is freaking HOT -- full of a lot of sex scenes that will leave your mouth watering, hot)! They still can't seem to be out in the open like normal couples because half of the college is the same students from high school and then they have evil people that want to hurt them and will stop at nothing to get that.

While Brayden and Kira are still struggling wtih their feelings and how they can overcome all these hurdles and be free to love each other, they have other problems they also need to handle before they can actually be out in the open and be able to love each other without hiding.

I just have to say that even though Brayden and Kira had their ups and downs, and they somehow or another always found ways to make it work between them even when they thought there was just no way.

I'm sad that the journey has ended, but I'm happy for the way things panned out for Brayden and Kira.

This series has definitely been one of my favorites this year!

A total 5 stars for OWN

Oh I love step brother storylines and this book is awesome with providing the angst, forbidden love and passion that goes right along with those types of stories. Own starts off where book 2
“Take” ends. Brayden and Kira have known each other since childhood and have had feelings for each other than were more than family feelings but what happens when their parents marry each other? There is this intense push and pull toward each other as they navigate how they should act toward each other since their parents married each other and wow, their journey toward HEA was full of ups and downs. The emotions that were shown ran from hate, to love, to deep sadness, to total heart ache to infinite joy. Their love story was like a Romeo and Juliet but with only one parent that disapproved of the match. We get to see in this book how Brayden grows up and learns to cope with the hand life dealt him and figure out how to win his lady love. Kira is one loved lady- she has a biological brother who loves her dearly and a step brother/boyfriend who is determined to fight for their relationship no matter what. There are some shocking secrets that come out in this story and it was horribly shocking but the authors wrote the secrets with a delicate hand and I appreciated how they handled it.
I really enjoyed Brayden and Kira’s love story, their whole series and cannot wait to read Stay next. That looks to be a hot one.

My Rating: 4.5 stars *****

The final book in the Young, Horny and Restless Trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed the drama and pain that the main characters experienced. Yes, I have a tiny sadistic side to me. No, I will not be seeking therapy to address it.

I was ecstatic to read every scene where the consequences of Brayden's sexual past caused pain in Kira's heart or drove a wedge in their relationship. It added a realistic element to this story that a lot of contemporary "my forever soulmate since childhood" romance books often sweep under the rug.

A lot time the FMC will lash out at the OW, but that never properly confront with MMC behavior that brought OW in their life. I want more tables overturned, cars keyed and day soap opera slaps.

I loved that Brayden recognized that it was HIS behavior that contributed to Kira's suffering and hindered their relationship from going forward (That and the whole stepsister thing).

I enjoyed Kira's wavering and wondering whether the juice was worth the squeeze in continuing the relationship. Her anger at Brayden's past indiscretions and reckless behavior.

I soaked up all the angst, anguish and angry sex like a homemade biscuit smothered with white gravy.

Rounding up to 4 stars.

*Rounding up to 4 stars…

I’m just going to make this review short and sweet.

In Book 3 of the Need Series, Brayden and Kira are finally where they should be. They’ve come a long way since the first time we saw them. They finally know what’s worth fighting for and will do anything to protect what they have. In book 3, a lot of things will be revealed. Truths and pasts will be exposed. Brayden and Kira will both be tested in ways they never expected.

Own captivated me and had my emotions all over the place. With each book, the characters and their story has grown on me. Leaving me curious about how it would all come together and how their story would end. The chemistry between these two was undeniable and burned up the pages. I loved all the angst and drama. And I couldn’t have been happier with the way things turned out. Own was the perfect ending to one crazy and enjoyable ride.

This book, well the whole series, consumed me!
I think I never read so much angst before... this story is completely mind blowing, with scorching hot sex scenes, intriguing situations, dirty mouthed characters, but in the end, its so well worth it!

Since the beginning I was cheering for them, their friendship, later their lust, their possessiveness toward each other... all the bumps they found in their journey made them strong and fierce! They had to win this battle!
Brayden... OMG... in this book, Brayden became a man. Yeah, he fights for Kira like you cant even understand, and that's what makes her wake up and start fighting too.
They will encounter so many more obstacles in their way, but they have friends sticking with them, helping them, so in the end you will see the most breathtaking HEA!

This will be one of my favorite series ever!

When your entire existence depends on one person...
Brayden's greatest fear unfolds in this novel... he's terrified of following in his father's footsteps and hurting the only woman he has ever loved...Kira. They are both trapped in a complicated situation which is considered a stigma and not socially acceptable. In Book 3 of the Need Series both Brayden and Kira open themselves up to their true feelings for one another and are willing to fight heaven and earth to make their relationship work out. Pasts are brought forth, truths are revealed, trust is tested, censure is conquered. A Young Adult novel which takes many dramatic turns in this dysfunctional roller coaster ride of emotions. Learning from your mistakes the hard way is what "OWN" is all about. 5 Life Altering Stars for "OWN"... a taboo story which finally comes full circle in the final installment of the "Need" series.

Hot, steamy and angsty conclusion of Brayden and Kira journey. They've known each other since childhood, and although they've had feelings for each other, they've struggled with whether to act on it or not.
Their conflict to get through the "step-sibling" thing made this a highly emotional and dramatic roller coaster ride.
This is the third book of a series that has to be read in its entirety to make sense and fully appreciate.
The writing was excellent and the characters were developed well enough they felt realistic.
What happens to them you'll have to read this beauty and find out.

Kira and Brayden's perfect ending has been coming years in the making. It's still hard with them being step brother and sister. With that crazy ex fling causing drama for the, it doesn't seem like it is getting any better. It's an extremely rough and emotional road ahead that they battle through to finally get together. As the reader, will all hope they finally get their crap together so they can officially be together. I can't decide if I want to slap Kira or Brayden more when it comes down to it. I feel like I've been waiting years for them to get it together
