Lisa has done it again with this second book from the series. Fantastic writing.
You really see the continuation of the romance moving forward and how they cope better together.
Sadie, Callum and Derek make you fall a little bit in love with them as they care for Elle after she is shot. You really see the characters for who they are and where they are going. I absolutely loved this and I would love to see more! I hate to leave spoilers and I want to gush and say so much more.
Lisa is such a talent and if you don't read this, you are honestly missing out. Give this well written story a try. I loved it! Thank you Lisa.

Amazing!!
Just when you think this series couldn't get any better it does. There was a lot of steamy moments for those who like that. There was a lot of sweet and tender moments too, I also found myself laughing more than once. The emotional rollercoaster this story takes you on is worth the ride.
The only thing I would love to see more of is that awesome character Leigh. She sounds like one kickass and very interesting person. ;)

Loved it!! Lisa Bilbrey did an awesome job with the 2nd book of the series! The life of Elle, Sadie, Derek and Callum continues in this 2nd book and shows just how much they love and need each other when Elle is shot! They help her fight to stay strong and continue to love each other and show others that their love for each other is real and forever!

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
I enjoyed this book more than the first one. The pacing through the first half of the book was really good and I found it very engaging. The second half seemed to lose a bit of steam for me but overall it was a solid sequel to the first.
I am excited to see where the third one goes now that the four will be more separated in their work/ home life.
I would rate this one a 3.5/5

Lisa Bilbrey's "Forgotten Awakenings" is the second tale in the Awakenings Series. Once again, a lot of high drama and sexy sex. This MMFF relationship matures and has babies and stay-at-home dads, but that doesn't put a damper on the lovin'. A must read if you are into polyamory tales. This one is even better than #1!

I REALLY hate this installment of the book. I feel as though the characters were not developed enough for the time jumps that occurred. Their personalities before the tragic event were not given the spotlight in this book or the previous installment. I think that the original fanfiction had the advantage of having pre-established character personalities and traits, but this novel did not take the time to flesh out the main characters. Assuming that the reader should just accept the reactions of the main characters given in the novel, without hashing the characters' personality in detail was a misstep by the author in my opinion. I love the author, but no, I do not like the transition of this installment of the series.
