Following their Academy Award wins, the film careers of Elizabeth Sutton and Aidan Evans reach stratospheric heights. Now bona fide superstars, the Hollywood press and throngs of starstruck fans await them at every turn, and the pressure to maintain their luminary status for the benefit of Starlight Studios escalates.

Away from the spotlight, Beth and Aidan's forbidden romance intensifies. Passionate nights spent together in secret stoke their mutual desires, each experience more extraordinary than the last.

Beth is thrilled with the breakthroughs in both her professional and personal lives, but perpetual feelings of guilt and self-doubt cripple Aidan's happiness. Slowly, the burdens brought on by the fame he neither courted nor craved unleash his inner torment, releasing the demons Beth's love and support helped him cage.

Aidan must embark on a final journey to move on from his traumatic past once and for all, but the outcome is anything but certain. It leads him down an unexpectedly dark path, from an explosive showdown with studio head Luther Mertz, to a jarring revelation about his mother’s death that could hold the key to his salvation or exile him from everyone he loves forever.

Stardust is the powerful conclusion to The Starlight Trilogy, a story of love and redemption set against the backdrop of the final years of Hollywood's Golden Age.

This was well worth the wait. I just hope my review does this book justice. I was so happy when the first book was suggested to me by my friend Jennifer, I read it in one day. I love books, and I love movies especially old movies and the magic of Hollywood. I took my time with starbright book #2 because I loved the characters and the story so much. Stardust I have to say is my favorite of all three books, finished in a day. It picks up the night after Elizabeth and Aidan won their Academy Awards and spend the night together expressing the love they have for one another. The six friends lives seem brighter than ever, Connie and Matthew were engaged, Nate just proposed to Olivia and it look like things would be heading in that direction for Aidan and Elizabeth after they Finnish shooting Golden Gloves. Well,Luther J. Mertz actions throws everything and everyone into turmoil. ( I don’t want to spoil the book so you’ll just have read what happens) Aidan leave beth and Nathan walks away from Olivia, and Connie and Matthew pick up the pieces. We find out the hold Mertz has on Nathan and why he work for Luther in the first place. Aidan finds himself in Chicago and confronts his father, he finds out his father was cheating on his mother with his current wife betty and was with her the night his mother was murdered. Beth and Olivia went back home for a visit, beth to Clarkson and Olivia to Portland. Beth explains to her parents what happened and confides more to her mother on a trip to the store, and her mother tells her Aidan will be back. Beth also connects with her friend Emma who went to teachers college and married a home town boy, Emma makes Beth realize she has become what she was meant to be an actress and that she would be returning to L A. Beth told her parents she would be returning to L A in a couple of days, but before that could happen she got a long distance call from Chicago, thinking it was Aidan she was greeted by Nathan with the news that Aidan was in an accident and she needed to come to Chicago. I can’t tell you how many times my heart was ready to break feeling that Aidan was not going to make it. Nathan explains to his friends why he stayed with Luther Mertz and that he made Mertz retire or he was going to expose him. The six friends stuck together, Nathan and Olivia got back together. Kazan got the rights to Golden Gloves and finished the movie. The three couples all relocated to NY and started their new lives as the studio system was collapsing. Nathan started his own firm and help to organize the finishing of Golden Gloves and helped with promoting it. Nathan owned his own public relations firm, Olivia was sought after to design costumes for Broadway, Connie, Aidan, and Beth were acting and Matthew was still singing and touring sold out shows. They all married had families and supported one another. I did not want this book to end, but it was beautifully written and Alexandra Richland did an amazing job explaining where everyone was in their lives. This Trilogy and Characters will always be special to me. Thank you for sharing their Story!

ARC given by the author for an honest review.

This is the final book in the Starlight Trilogy and I'm so gutted it has to come to an end. I have without a doubt loved this entire series and it will definitely be one that stays with me forever.

Aiden & Beth’s careers are both rocking high after their Academy Award wins. The public love them but their romance is still hidden away from the public eye. When a meeting with studio boss Mr Mertz doesn’t quite go as expected, Aiden, Beth and their friends leave Starlight Studios for good. There are a few ups and downs for Aiden & Beth but their love for each conquers all. Their film careers go from strength to strength and once their relationship is out in the open the public love them even more.

A wonderful and beautiful ending to a fabulous trilogy. I’ve followed this series since the beginning and have enjoyed watching the love between Aiden and Beth grow. I so enjoyed the era this was set in, 1950's Hollywood and this sets it aside from other trilogies. This is truly a must read for everyone and very much deserving of the 5 stars I’ve given it.

Beth and Aidan are a match made in movie-star heaven! :D

It’s no secret that I obsess over movies, the Classic Hollywood Era, etc. So, naturally you would think I’d love these books by Alexandra…

…and you’d be right! This series is perfection! It has everything you’d want, if you were a fan of the 1950’s or not. I highly recommend it!

In the last book of the series, Beth is enjoying her new life being an actress. She’s realized she’s found her calling and is even happier that the job that’s brought her such joy brought her the greatest guy too: Aidan. After the two won their Academy Awards (in Starbright), they opened up their hearts to one another and realized they’re each worth fighting for. Beth would do anything to protect Aidan, and he would risk anything to make her happy. Though they both are new to it all, they learn from each other and bring out the best too.

Aidan loves Beth with all that he is. He’s tormented by his past still, but Beth makes him keep going and even helps him cope with his troubles. However, there are some things he feels he has to do on his own to protect Beth, which causes lots worry and anguish to ensue. More drama escalates, and it’s impossible to stop reading because you have to know how it all ends! And trust me, it all ends how it’s supposed to. <3

I’m so sad to see this trilogy end because I fell in love with their story in Starlight and will miss reading about Beth and Aidan! :'(

If you’ve read the previous two installments, you know how loving and moving this love story truly is. What I adored about this last book is how everything perfectly wrapped together. It’s not ALL sunshine and rainbows, but we finally see our favorite couple get their happily ever after. *sigh*

I wish I had more of them! Like I said, I’ll miss this series but thankfully I have my paperbacks to stare at and read over and over again. ;)

If you haven’t already, get your copies now! Don’t miss out!
