“Have you ever experienced that moment when your body starts to tingle uncontrollably, and your heart speeds up? When you start fidgeting as you try to gain control over your breathing before your mind becomes totally blank? That moment when you see him for the first time….”

I completely loved this book. I think we have all had a crush on a movie star, I think my first was Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday in Tombstone, and as such you can empathize with Andria and her unrequited love for an unavailable Hollywood man.

If you took Alice Clayton’s Red Head Series and Fifty Shades of Grey Author E.L. James and developed a book based on E.L’s writing you would produce a wonderful baby book called “The Trouble with Dating a Movie Star.”

Alexandria, a.k.a. Andria, fortuitously meets her dream man, Andrew Hughes at a dive bar in Georgetown. The meeting is less than perfect, but the entire time you just KNOW that this is going to be a great romance with amazing chemistry and drama.

“It’s Andrew Hughes. Andrew, freaking, Hughes, I was talking to. And he wanted to see me again? There was no wrapping my head around that.”

The romance moves along in an unexpected fashion, which makes it more relatable, in my opinion. Andria is able to find herself through the help of Andrew.

“You know that side of you that not everyone sees; the more seductive, naughty side that only comes out on special occasions? That’s when it hit me; Andrew Hughes brought out that side of me.”

I SO give this book 5 smooches. It might not be as racy as some other books, but it gives you a great story, wonderful character development, and just the right amount of comedy. It has left me wanting more from the author; fortunately Book 2 “The Trouble with Marrying a Movie Star” is coming soon!!

Alexandria "Andria" Moore fell in love with Andrew Hughes when she saw one of his movies in college. He left a deep impression and was her inspiration for her first book which became a beststeller. Now she is in Washington for negotiations to adapt her book into a movie. When she is out meeting with her best friend Erin in a bar, she bumps into someone and is shocked when she comes suddenly face to face with her muse. Embarrassed she leaves even though Andrew seems to be charmed by her beauty. When she is offered VIP tickets for Andrew's movie premier, she tries for a second chance meeting with Andrew and the two of them hits it off immediately. But this is Hollywood after all and nothing is easy with all the press and lies..

I really liked Andria and Andrew and had fun reading their story. Andria was in love with Andrew ever since she saw the first movie but meeting him after all was a dream come true even though the press still links him with actress Brittney Price while he assures her that they are still friends. From the moment we meet Brittney, it was obvious that she had her own agenda and would not willingly step aside for Andria. Keeping the secret of her book from Andrew was risky and I'm looking forward to read the next one right away. I loved the characters - well, beside Brittney and Amy - and the story was very entertaining. Nothing new but still a cute read for which I give 5 stars.

The Trouble With Dating a Movie Star by Z.N. Willet
4 1/2 of 5 stars
Andria Moore has been in love with movie star Andrew Hughes since high school. She even based her first best selling romance, Deceptions, on him. Of course she never thought she would literally run into him at a Georgetown bar and they would start a real life relationship.
Having a relationship with a movie star is not easy. He has an ex-girlfriend who won't go away, a movie being filmed outside the US, and a new manager that likes Andria, but not for Andrew. Oh and there's the paparazzi! Andria has a best selling romance she can't tell Andrew is about him, a book tour and a new life in the spotlight. Long distance and long separations are difficult, it's even more difficult when the press is watching your every move.
This book moved at a good pace and didn't have any place that seemed to just drag along. It was told in Andria's point of view and she was funny. I finished it rather quickly.
I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a quick, entertaining read. I will be reading the rest of this series. It is the first in the series but not necessarily a cliffhanger ending.

Andria is a regular girl turned Author A.P Moore. The moment she locked eyes with Andrew she knew she would never forget him. She ended up writing a book that became a huge hit! This story was a great read. No big dramatic problems, just two people who fall in love with a couple of small problems. I really loved Andrew, he's a gorgeous actor with such a down to earth personality. You would think he's stuck up or let the fame get to his head.

Of course like any couple they encounter problems. But they aren't just any couple, her book is getting bigger and she has tours and promo. He is a big time Actor with groupies aka Brittany .. Overall I really liked this book and I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to book 2!! Great job Z.N! I applaud you.

I loved this! I thought it was such a good story and not just that, it was so relatable. When I started reading it, I could totally relate to falling in love in a movie theatre, looking up at a famous actor. I totally got it. I have never been in this situation, even though I had wished it before (lol), but I could totally see myself in her shoes.

And Andrew! Oh goodness! I loved him.

I thought everything about this book was wonderful, and fun, and romantic. So everything you could want in a book!

Loved it!

I can't wait for more for Ms. Willett!!

Hooked!

It took me 3 days to read this because I could not put it down! I was instantly captivated by Alexandria's love encounter and now I'm dying to read the rest of the Red Carpet series! ZN Willet has created so much passion between them you can't help but get caught up in it yourself! But sometimes she has you wondering if love will truly conquer all as Alexandria tries to determine that for herself.

"Received and ARC for an honest review"

This book is amazing, it drags you in from page one and you just can't put it down.

Andria has been in love with Andrew Hughes the super movie star since high school. She writes a book based on him, but what happens when they meet... sparks fly but is that enough in Hollywood? Well, you just need to get this book to find out their story!

Can't wait for the next one!

I was only going to read the first chapter but one lead to another and the next I knew I was done with the story. I just couldn't stop reading and I was pulled in. The way the author writes made me feel like I was Alexandria and I was the one having the relationship with Andrew. I can not wait for the next book. Spectacular writing and I can not say enough about the book.

This is the kind of story that sucks you in from the get-go. The first chapter-page-parragraph-line is crucial in a story. And in TTWDAMS the author just nails it. It's beautifully written and you just can't help but get immerse in the world of Andrew and Andria.

I just can't wait for the next one.

Ok, so let’s get straight too it…this wasn’t what I expected and while what it brought to the table worked for most of the time, I also thought that sometimes it was a little clichéd and that the characters had room to grow, they were ok, but they could have been exceptional.
They were both celebrities so to speak, Andria was a romance novelist with a hit novel on her hands, a publishing deal and a book tour that was drawing in the crowds and Andrew, well he was a movie superstar and need I say any more about the madness that brings to the table.
Andria grew up fantasising about her schoolgirl crush, the heartthrob actor Andrew Hughes.
But she knew that while he may have been the inspiration for her first novel but there was never any chance that it would become more than that.
But what do you do when you meet the man that your younger self as adored from afar?
Would you run a mile or would you, like Andria grab the opportunity and dive into a relationship?
Well, a chance meeting gives her that opportunity and this is the story of the fight the two of them have to have what others would consider a normal relationship, only nothing about dating a movie star could every be described as normal.
Just being Andrew Hughes brings all sort of crazy to a relationship, the media, the fans and a mental ex-girlfriend that doesn’t seem to be able to understand the meaning of the words “it’s over”, really at times it was all too much to actually get my head around.
But what I did like was the pace that the story moved at, I didn’t want them to dither, they had too much going on for their relationship to stand still, it was never going to be a gentle meander towards their relationship, their situation meant that they were always moving at a gallop.
But that being said I did want time to draw breath, to evaluate what was going on between them and the stress and strains that they were having to shoulder and all while under the very public scrutiny of the world’s press.
There was a fairly strong humorous undertone that peppered Andria’s musings but the book hurtled towards an ending that I found rather abrupt.
I look forward to the next book, to see if the characters fill out and completely engulf the personas that I think they deserve

The Trouble with Dating a Movie Star is the story of author Andria Moore who accidentally bumps (almost literally) into the movie star who inspired her bestselling book, Andrew Hughes. That first meeting leads to many more and eventually Andria’s fantasy begins to become reality as their relationship begins to develop. The series of meetings between the two seem almost fated and soon they give into fate and set off on world wind relationship.

I love the dynamic between these two characters and the relationships with all the people that surround them. There is humor and romance once these two characters give in to their feelings and manage to find some time alone. Andria, who has never dealt with fame and fortune is suddenly thrown into a world that is dominated by the same. Not only is she having to adjust to her own success, she is also having to deal with the scrutiny that comes along with dating the hottest actor and all the rumors that surround him. She quickly learns that not everything is what it seems in Hollywood and you defiantly never believe everything you read in the tabloids.

At the same time, Andrew is having to learn that not everyone understands what his life is like and has to figure out a way to keep Andria in his arms while keeping her safe from the scrutiny and rumors that surround him. While trying to keep Andria out of the every watchful eyes of the paparazzi he makes many mistakes that make Andria doubt his true feelings. With the help of family and friends these two characters manage with overcome their obstacles and manage to find a way to be together and admit their love for one another.

This is book one of the Red Carpet Series by Z. N. Willet. Book two, The Trouble with Marrying a Movie Star, is already out. While I have not had a chance to read that one yet, I can’t wait to read more of the highs and lows of Andria and Andrew’s relationship as they take their love story to the next level.

Both books are currently available on Amazon and are only $0.99 each so hurry and get your copy today!

Andrew Hughes is the most sought after man in Hollywood. Every woman wants him, every man wants to be him, he is at the high of his career, and he is down to earth. Life is looking good for Andrew. Andria is just your everyday girl turned author with a best seller. She has also had a crush on Andrew since high school, what girl would not. She even has the main character in her romance novel based off of him. But never in her wildest dreams did she think that she would actually meet him.
A chance meeting between them at a bar in Georgetown that is disastrous, you would think that was the end. Or will an invitation to a movie premier be just the second chance they needed. But it’s not always smooth road for these two. You have Andrews’s ex-girlfriend who doesn’t take “It’s Over” as an answer, the paparazzi chasing, his manager that loves Andria, but not to date him, Andria cannot tell Andrew that her book is about him, a book tour, and just life in the spotlight. When you are dating the hottest guy in Hollywood, you will never have a privet moment again. Will they be able to weather the storm of stardom? Will they come out stronger or fall apart? Can they navigate this life and is it worth it?
This is such a wonderful story and the characters you cannot help to fall in love with. They have problems just like everyone else, even though they have to deal with the spotlight of it. The pace of the story is good without any area that just seem to drag but you do not feel like it’s rushed either. I cannot wait for the next book in the series and see what pops up in the lives of these characters.

The Trouble with Dating a Movie Star (The Red Carpet #1) by Z.N. Willett

This book was well written with plenty of hot sex and contains a cliffhanger.
This is a great story I just simply loved it. This story contains tangled webs filled with lust, desire, jealousy and deceit. Andria is the Author A.P Moore. The moment she watched his movie she felt all tingly and new she would never forget him. She wrote her first book with Andrew in mind and it ended up a best seller.

Andrew Hughes is the most desired man in Hollywood was at the height of his career. You would think he would be stuck up or that he let the fame get to his head. He is far from what you except in an actor he is really down to earth that loves his family and friends. He tries to keep his private life that private.

The man who had everything soon realizes what Hollywood couldn't give him everything. He soon realizes this with a chance meeting with Alexandria Moore that went horribly wrong.

With An invitation to a premier, offers a second chance and with it a Hollywood romance straight out of the pages of a book. We watch two people fall in love with a few bumps along the way.
Andria needs to decide if she is able to deal with the paparazzi daily intrusion into their lives, a crazy ex and both of their grueling schedules. But if she wants to be with Andrew then a few minor things shouldn’t stand in her way.

Can they make it work with all the obstacles thrown at them?

Ms. Willet’s characters are well developed with a solid plot line I also loved the secondary characters they helped make her main characters equally strong.

Andria is in love with Andrew Hughes. I mean everyone is in love with Andrew Hughes. He is a super hot actor who's face is plastered everywhere. But since she was a teen, she felt something towards him that she has never felt before. Andria is now a famous writer, who writes romance novels. Her muse is none other that Andrew Hughes.

Many, many years later Andria is on a book tour for her book. She is at her old stomping grounds, back where she went to college and has family. When at an event, she runs into none other but the Andrew Hughes. She can not believe her luck. When she talks to him, he is everything she imagines.
Andrew seems to be just as smitten with Andria as she is with him.
The story follows the follows their dating life. It is hard to date a major movie star. Andrew has a busy life and obligations. Andria does as well. But not at the level Andrew does.

If you like famous actors with lots of drama, then this is the book for you!

I really liked this book. I totally connected with not only the main characters but the side characters as well. It was so good that I started this morning and finished within a few hours. I didn't want to put it down.

Even though they've never met, Andria has been in love with Andrew Hughes since high school. He's the inspiration for her first hit novel that is now going to be made into a movie. Andrew is a huge movie star with legions of fans and a supposed girlfriend. Andria and Andrew meet and sparks fly. But can they survive Hollywood?

I was rooting for them so hard. I loved that even though they faced many obstacles Andrews friends and family saw the love between Andria and Andrew and were totally supportive of them. There is going to be a second book but the cliffhanger is small. I can't wait to read the next book.

***** I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review*****

Andria Moore has always felt a connection with Andrew Hughes even though she has never met him. She writes a best selling novel with him as her muse. Once the book begins to get popular she meets Andrew and the two of them are sent on a rollercoaster ride while trying to discover themselves and each other. Z.N. Willett did an amazing job at writing this book so that the reader feels the emotional connection with the characters. I thought this book was going to be some cheesy regular girl meets Hollywood star and boom a HEA. but that was not the case. This has a great storyline and includes problems that I assume would really happen if someone were to date a star. I would highly recommend this book.

I think this book is amazing. It is a true story of finding and falling in love. Andria had used Andrew Hughes a big time movie star as her muse and when she gets the chance to meet him all bets are off. I think all of us at one time or another have a crush on a celebrity, but many will never get to meet them or have a relationship.

This just goes through all the ins and out of dating a movie star and what they both have to go through. I just could not put this down. One of my favorites hands down. This is just a true romance without all the drama and hassle you get from others and that is a Nice change of pace.

Super excited to find this gem... I love movie star books and this is one of my faves. The fact that it is part of a series is a bonus. Andria is a strong heroine that has a famous book about to be made in to a movie and never dreamed of actually meeting her muse. An accidental meeting ends up being the greatest gift for both Andria and Andrew. Andrew is one fine, hot actor that has a lot to learn when it comes to falling in love. Being famous creates a lot of trust issues. Jump in and enjoy book 1 in this fabulous series. Enjoy!!!

Read this book to page 73 and should have stopped 50 pages earlier, but I’m an optimist and kept hoping it would improve. Characters were caricatures. The language trite — “I filled Erin in on the grand cluster fudge of meeting Andrew Hughes for the first time.” I should have stopped right there. Why am I spending so much time writing about a book I think is a waste of space? Because I’m tired of buying books that are rated 3.87 on Goodreads and 4.5 stars on Amazon only to find out that they are written for and rated by 13yr olds. Can we please have a demographic breakdown of who is rating?
