Unforgettable

Rate this book
Two hearts, one encased in ice the other closed off completely.

When tragedy strikes, the unconditional support Brittany received from her friends made her realize that love and friendship were life’s true treasures. She had trustingly given Frank her heart but, when his pleasing facade crumbled, revealing an emotionally and physically abusive monster, her heart shattered. She would never trust another man as long as she lived!

Caroline had ignited Patrick's world with passion before setting it ablaze with her vicious avarice. What rose from the ashes was not a Phoenix but a raging, Heartless Lion. He is ruthless, callous and cold to anyone fool enough to attempt any kind of relationship with him. Can the beautiful woman he saves from a near fatal mishap thaw his frozen heart?

Can two people who have suffered through Purgatory alone, resurfacing with deep scars on their souls, survive the darkest pits of Hell together, or does Evil have other plans for them?

Fate had watched them both suffer for far too long and decided it was high time to step in!

It was cheesy, the H & h both thought the other was an angel when then they first met. He's a VERY quickly reformed jerk and she's just the perfect person. Both suffering from past angst. She faints, he helps her and they part only to send messages through a radio show. Who the heck, in this day and age, listens to love song radio programs at night??? The baddie, Frank, really added nothing to the story but he fit right in since NONE of the characters, including the leads, added anything to the story. And the poor puppy, that dog was sure left hanging. One moment it was following them around the house, then a big scary thing happens and it's not mentioned happened good or bad with/to the pup. At about 52% through I almost stopped reading but decided to go on just so I could rate it. (If I DNF a book I don't feel like I have the right to rate it.) honestly there was so much about this book that annoyed and/or bothered me I'd need to sit down and think for a long time to get it all down properly and I just don't want to spend anymore time on this book. :-(
