Welcome to Paradise #3

Good Sensations

Rate this book
Evan Ashford is sex personified. He makes me feel things I never have and crave things I'm not sure I should. Time doesn't exist when we're together-all of our worries becoming obsolete. Our tongues touch, and as if by memory, they move in harmony, feeling at peace, feeling at home. Despite his mother's best efforts to drive us apart and the miles that separate us, I'm ready-ready to claim what's mine. In an instant, his lips are pressed firmly against mine, consuming my words as if hearing them isn't enough. Desire turns to need as he tastes and savors every syllable ever spoken from my heart to his. Mallory Wray caught my attention and stole my heart. The emerald of her eyes draws me in, and it's so easy to see why I fell in love with her. I run my hand over her cheek and into her hair, admiring everything I've missed so much. That familiar intensity that formed our bond back in Hawaii exists again. It's comforting, engulfing, making my chest ache in the most painfully acute way. My heart feels grounded in her. This is right, this is us. I can finally breathe again. Her hand settles on my cheek and a soft smile appears. "My sweet surfer. What a change a month makes." "It's not the month that changed me. It's the girl." I turn and kiss her palm. "You make me want more than I feel I deserve." "You deserve everything your heart desires." "My heart only desires you." "Then I'm yours. All yours. Always." Life has taken these two young lovers in different directions. Can their love bring them back together? Will they be able to find their paradise once again?

I'm sad to have finished reading the final instalment in the Welcome to Paradise series by S.L. Scott, Good Sensations, because it means that I've finished this fab series. Good Sensations was the perfect way to end Evan and Mallory's story. *inserts gush* Just like the rest of the books in this series, Good Sensations was everything I had hoped for and so much more. I jumped right back in as if I was hanging out with old friends again.

It's been great watching the characters in this story grow and evolve and I promise some of the character transformations will blow your mind, who knew! Can't wait for you to meet some of the new characters. Clay Wray...Bahahahaha! Love it! Evan is still one of my favourite dreamy swoon worthy book boyfriends and I think I fell for him even more this time around. *inserts sigh*

I have loved this entire series but Good Sensations is my favourite. S.L. Scott kept me on my toes as there were a few situations I wasn't sure whether she was going to mess with my head or not. Without giving spoilers away, I will say that Good Sensations had my heart feeling very full while reading it. Not heavy and angst filled, it was a light and easy read full of sexiness, romance and fun. Just the read I was looking for to pull me from my funk. Thank you S.L. Scott for this amazing end to an amazing series.

So, now that the Welcome to Paradise series has come to its perfect conclusion, I'm not quite sure what to do with my life anymore. Just kidding. But, not really. I'm seriously going to miss the heart-fluttery feelings that Evan Ashford gives me. Well, I'll miss the emotions that this series in particular evokes. S.L. Scott has a way of making me crave her books with their unique plot, loveable characters, powerful writing, and the way they make me experience falling in love. Every. Single. Time. Read one of her books and try not to fall in love. I dare you. Good Sensations is the end of the series, and I'm not ready to let go of this experience that I've gone through with Evan and Mallory. I just can't.

"This may be too soon to admit, but being away from you this past month has confirmed what I was feeling back in Hawaii."
"And what is that?"
"That one day you're going to marry me. There's just no other option for us."

Good Sensations starts off right where Good Intentions left off. Evan came to Colorado from New York to surprise Mallory for her birthday. Squeeee. So much happens in this book. So. Much. In Hawaii, we were with them as they go through the roller-coaster of falling in love for the first and last time. And, unfortunately it seems like everyone and everything is against them. But, what kind of love has no challenges or tribulations? In Good Vibrations, they had to deal with Noah (I still think he's shady) and then they had to finally realize that they were falling in love with each other. In Good Intentions, they had to figure out if they wanted to stay together when summer is over and they go to opposite sides of the country.

"Mallory is everything. She turns me on while turning my whole fucking life inside out. I'm frustrated, angry, and jealous of every guy that gets to see her every day. She makes me feel possessive and greedy. But I try to disguise it as protecting her best interests. I'm in lust with her and I've been in love with her from the minute I laid eyes on her. She's gorgeous and so fucking smart. Mallory is my brand of beautiful."

Now, in Good Sensations, Evan's mother is continuing her efforts to break them up and they're now in a long-distance relationship. It's scary, yes. Should I have doubted them? No. Well, easy to say after I've read it. While I was reading, I was a nervous wreck. This book made me bipolar, I swear. One minute, I would be dying over something happening that could potentially end bad. The next, I was dying over something incredibly romantic that transpired or came out of Evan's mouth *sigh*. Wait, I was talking about the plot, not Evan yet. A lot is packed into this book, but I never felt like it was rushed. It all felt right, real, and adorable, all thanks to S.L. Scott's writing. Everything that happened made my heart hurt in the best way possible.

"As he holds me in his arms, both of us breathless, I realize he is my purpose in life. Evan Ashford owns me and nothing compares to the love I have for this man. Nothing and no one will stop me from being with him in every imaginable and possible way."

My heart swells when I think of how far Evan and Mallory have both come since they had sex the first night they met in Hawaii. Evan was such a man-whore, and Hawaii was his playground. But now, the things he does for and says to Mallory makes me melt into a pile of Tricia-goo. I'm useless when it comes to Evan. He is undoubtedly one of my top book boyfriends. He fights for what he wants and what is his. Sometimes he doubts his goodness, but that just makes him more adorable. He makes me fan myself when I read his love scenes with Mallory. We see poor Evan tortured being away from Mallory and being tempted with everything in New York, but never does his resolve waver. He knows he's meant to be with Mallory. Forever.

"That girl right there took me by surprise and changed everything. I never knew someone who could come into your life with a foul mouth and such a stubborn side, and make you rethink everything about your life, but she did. I'm just lucky that both those qualities were attached to a woman who is forgiving and loves harder than anyone else I've ever known."

Mallory is Evan's other half. There's no doubt about it now. I love how in sync they are with each other, which is almost comical looking back and seeing how hard they tried to deny their connection in Good Vibrations. For example, sometimes Evan doubts himself and Mallory is always there to cheer him on, and then sometimes Mallory will doubt whether or not they're meant to be and then Evan is always there to soothe her. Mallory has changed a lot since going to Hawaii for the summer as well. With Evan at her side, she has become a woman. She's no longer insecure, and ready to fight for Evan no matter what. I am crazy jealous, err I mean happy, that Mallory and Evan have become better versions of themselves through their relationship.

"My sweet surfer. What a change a month makes."
"It's not the month that changed me. It's the girl. You made me want more than I feel I deserve."
"You deserve everything your heart desires."
"My heart only desires you."
"Then I'm yours. All yours. Always."

When they're together, everything is so easy and shows that they're meant to be. Every time they overcome a hurdle, I cheer for them. They truly have a special place in my heart. Like the rest of the Welcome to Paradise books, Good Sensations is a wonderfully written, feel-good book. I can't really say it's a light read because I felt some angst and the emotions all hit deep. Words can't express how much I loved this book. It was the perfect ending for one of my favorite couples. I will always think of Evan when I hear Hawaii. Or see pineapples *giggles*. I truly want to thank S.L. Scott for the wonderful journey, and I look forward to all the ones to come. P.S. I will forever be Evan's number one side thing <3

"I'm in total, head over feet, in love with you, Evan Ashford."
"That's good to hear because I'm in total and awe-inspiring love with you, Mallory Wray."

4.5 stars of perfect romance. Good sensations is the perfect ending to a perfect story. The whole paradise series was an amazing read and captured a relationship perfectly. I will say from start to finish this series had me biting my nails and on the edge of my seat I am so thankful I had the whole series in my hands or I think I might have died. This series showed the ups and downs of a relationship but did not let that out shine what a real relationship could accomplish with true love. I will say when I started this series I could have ripped my hair out and might have even threw a bitch fit or two. Good sensations is a complete different read and has my patience at ease. Evan and Mallory are the perfect combination for each other they fit together better then any couple I've read about. I loved how this book shows you that you definitely have to experience the rain before seeing the rainbow. Great read you will not be disappointed. Can wait to see what other perfect reads S.L has for us!!

WOW!!!! I freaking love this series!!!! Evan and Mallory are off the charts smoking hot!! This series is such a fun, sexy, slightly angsty, hot read. And book three – Good Sensations – did not disappoint. I just love Evan and Mallory and they really grow up in this installment. They have a true epic love story. While they still have a few obstacles in their way, I was rooting for them the entire way. S.L.’s writing style transports you right into the middle of the book and you feel like a part of the book. Whether on the streets of New York, snowy Colorado or the tropical paradise Hawaii, I always felt like I was right there with them. I will say that I will never look at pineapple again Miss Scott. I will ALWAYS think of this series when I see it. I dont know if there is more in the future to this series, but I will say that I would love to see some of the other characters get a book, like maybe Kate and Murphy….do you think that might happen??? All in all this is a wonderful series and I highly recommend it.

I have loved this series since I first read Good Vibrations. I have both been anxiously awaiting the release of Good Sensations as well as dreading it. I had to know what happened for Evan and Mallory, and yet I wasn't ready to be done with them. I have to say though that I am so glad that Good Sensations is finally here and even though I'm sad for their story to come to an end it was absolutely perfect! If you haven't read this series yet, you are seriously missing out! This series does need to be read in order, so make sure you start with Good Vibrations. S.L. Scott has a way of writing interesting characters that you are instantly invested in and can't help but fall in love with. Evan and Mallory will always be one of my favorite book couples ever, and I know that I will continue to read and reread their stories whenever I need a fix.

What started out as a summer fling has since grown and Evan and Mallory are more committed to each other than ever. While Evan is in New York working for his family's company, Mallory is finishing school in Colorado. Though their lives may be going in two different directions, their love for each other has them both determined to get through the separation. There are still many obstacles standing in their way, and being apart is not easy. With so many things standing in the way of their future, can they make it through and be stronger than ever? Or will their future together be torn apart before it really begins?

I didn't think that it was possible to love Evan more than before, but he went an proved me wrong. He was so committed to Mallory and their future together. I loved seeing a different side of Evan in this book. The evolution of his character from Good Vibrations to his character in Good Sensations shows just how much he has changed. He is still the fun-loving and charming surfer we fell in love with, but he is also more mature and responsible. He really grew up and it was nice to see that he was willing to work to make a future for him and Mallory. I love that he was determined to be happy and live the type of life he wanted, rather than what his parents thought was best. I love Mallory. She is so sweet that you just can't help but root for her. I love that she has such a kindness about her and looks for the best in everyone, even when they sometimes don't deserve it. She is the perfect balance for Evan, and their connection is undeniable. I loved watching these two not only fall for each other, but work to make sure that they didn't let anything tear them apart. Evan and Mallory are so perfect for each other and have been from the very start. Their love and connection are so strong that you can't help but get caught up in it. They also have so much steam and chemistry that I am surprised my Kindle didn't burst into flames while reading this one!

Overall, Good Sensations was the perfect ending to this fabulous series. I loved how everything turned out and I thought that this book was so true to Evan and Mallory that I cannot imagine anything happening differently. Evan and Mallory's story is so real and believable because they so clearly belong together. S.L. Scott could not have written a better conclusion to this series, and I am so glad that Evan and Mallory got the ending that they deserve. Besides Evan and Mallory though, it was great to see the rest of the characters that we have come to know and love. Without giving too much away, I thought that the secondary characters really added a lot to the story and it was great to see the changes that many of them have made from the beginning of this series. If you are a fan of romance, this series is an absolute must read! These books are so much fun to read, and I really enjoyed getting lost in paradise with these two. Even though I am sad that their story has come to an end, I am so happy with the way it ended. I will continue to enjoy reading about these two in the future, as well as reading whatever else S.L. Scott writes. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Good Sensations is the third book in the Welcome to Paradise series by S.L. Scott. In the first two books we saw the struggles and hardships that Evan and Mallory had to endure. They have not had an easy relationship at all. I fell hard for their relationships and for them! In Hawaii, after all the hardships they were finally able to enjoy their paradise and be happy.

But what happens when the summer is over and they are forced to be miles apart? Evan is off in New York working in his family's company, while Mallory is back in Colorado, back in school trying to complete her final year. They are now miles apart from each other, trying their hardest to make this long distance relationship to work. And wow did they find ways to steam things up even when they where apart. But then life begins to get in the way, work, school, and obstacles after obstacles are presented to these two. Yet throughout it all they never once doubt their love and commitment to one another. Then Evans mom comes in to throw yet another obstacle to their relationship, telling Mallory that Evan should be with someone from their social status and that must certainly isn't Mallory. I highly disliked this woman, she made Mallory's life hell whenever possible. I will say she tried to change her ways later on in the book but I never got to truly like her, she just never seemed genuine when being nice to Mallory.

These constant obstacles, and Evan's mom's meddling ways had Mallory doubting herself, doubting whether she was truly good enough for Evan. But even when Mallory was doubting herself, Evan was never doing that. He loved and adored her and KNEW that she was the one for him. He saw no future if it wasn't with her. Evan had no problem telling his mom how he felt for Mallory, even when his mother didn't want to hear the truth. I loved how much he loved her and how much he tried to prove it even when they were so far apart. One particular thing made me love him even more: that ring that he began to wear. Omg I loved it. It was so touching and cute. I also loved seeing him so nervous when meeting her parents. It was wonderful!

Throughout their hardships and obstacles time passes and soon their relationship changes, no longer long distance as Evan makes his choice. To make things more official Evan decides to take the next logical step and proposes. I loved it, it just seemed like the perfect thing for this wonderful couple. And where better to have this wedding then where it all started. In Hawaii. The whole wedding scene was so cute and funny. But I must admit that I was a little annoyed at Mallory for allowing it get to that point. Never the less, the wedding was wonderful, exactly how their wedding should be!

This was the cutest ending to such a wonderful couple. It was just perfect. They could not have their happily ever after without having to endure a little more drama and struggles. S.L. Scott once again blew me away with this book. I loved this whole series and have fallen in love with these characters. She has a way of pulling me into the book. Sometimes I felt as if I was in new York others as if I was with Mallory in Colorado and even in Hawaii. I am so happy I was able to be a part of her blog tour and was grateful to have received an arc copy of the book in exchange for this honest review.

Good Sensations By S.L. Scott is the third book in the Welcome To Paradise series and a pretty fabulous ending to Evan and Mallory's story. Now this book isn't a stand alone and if you haven't read the previous books in the series I strongly advise you read no further and go get those books. This book was about one couples journey to their happily ever after. It was quite a ride from beginning to end. One I would gladly get on time and time again.

In the beginning of the book Evan and Mallory get to spend time together while he surprises her for her Birthday. Let's just say they make the most of their time together. Since Mallory is finishing school in Colorado and Evan is working for his family before they plan on being together for good. They both come to realize that being a part is way harder then they imagined. Mallory begins to doubt their relationship mainly due to his mother's constant interference. Evan is constantly reminding Mallory of how much she means to him. They hit a few bumps along the way and although their lives seem to be going in separate directions they are both determined to make it work. Will their love be enough to get them through till they begin the rest of their lived together? Or will their future end before it got a chance to start?

I have to say I missed Hawaii! I mean we get a bit of a taste of the place that brought Evan and Mallory together. I loved how care free they were there. Reading this you just wish that they didn't have to be separated. Not only are they both focused on each other but on other things that are important in their lives. They both have really matured together especially Evan. He went from not wanting a commitment with anyone to wanting his forever with Mallory. Which goes to show you their is someone for everyone. They had been connected since the beginning and their is no doubt that they belong together. They have made all the right decisions. Even when it got tough they stuck it out with one another because they loved each other that much. Maybe even a little too much at times. But it worked for them! They were better together then a part . When they got together it was like an explosion of fire works. They never could get enough of each other. They had it all friendship, love, lust. longing, and commitment. It was an amazing journey to watch from beginning to end.

My recommendation for Good Sensations is it is a must read especially after reading the first two books. As a whole the books were superb. I am so glad I got the chance to read these books. I look forward to reading more from S.L. Scott in the future. She has proved to me that love can overcome just about anything.

"Abso-fucking-lutely" perfect ending to this series! I couldn’t have hoped for a better conclusion to Mallory and Evan’s story.

Good Sensations picks up right where Good Intentions left off; Evan is standing outside Mallory’s apartment in Colorado making her birthday wish come true. All Mallory wanted was Evan and that is exactly what he gave her – a blissful weekend with the man she loves. And, despite the long distance, a meddling mother, “friends”/other women looking to be more, and Mallory’s doubts about being “enough” for Evan, they fight for each other every step of the way because they own each other’s hearts and souls.

Evan Theodore Monroe Ashford – playboy turned devoted soul mate…it was not an easy transition for him to make; there were definitely bumps along the way, but Evan fights to be the man who Mallory wants and needs. He puts his past behind him and looks forward to his future, which will only be complete if he has the woman he loves with him.

Mallory Elise Wray – she went to Hawaii to spend the summer away from the reminder of past betrayals. When she returns to school in Colorado, she has more self confidence and she refuses to be trampled on, and even though Evan’s mother makes Mallory doubt what she has to offer someone like Evan, she fights through her uncertainty and makes a life with Evan, not worrying about what anyone else thinks about their relationship.

S.L. Scott is a fantastic storyteller. She creates strong, relatable lead characters who endure realistic storylines with the right amount of angst, drama, and friction. I loved all three books in the series, but book three is my favorite. In any series, by the time the third book arrives, my hope is that after everything the hero/heroine have endured in the previous two books, they get their payoff in the end. Some book series continue the angst until the very end of book three; for the most part, that doesn’t bother me that much, but when the main characters are still fighting each other, I find it a bit problematic. Thankfully, that is not the case with Good Sensations. There may still be outside forces trying to interfere with Evan and Mallory’s relationship, but they are a united front who work through every obstacle, holding on tightly to their happily ever after.

For Evan and Mallory, vibrations of lust turned into intentions of love and ended with sensations of a wonderful life together. Thank you, S.L. Scott for giving Evan and Mallory the life that your readers wanted for them from the very beginning.

If you didn’t fall in love with Evan in the previous books then I’m sure he will knock your socks off in this one!

The best thing I loved about this book was the character building – especially on his part. To this very day I remember how strongly I felt about his self absorbed, immature and egotistical ways in Good Vibrations. As the series progressed on I came to love Evan’s character more and more.

When he and Mallory first met at the airport he said something along the lines that he was a relationship phobe and he was never meant to commit. He sure did change his outlook in Good Intentions but it is in this book where he truly turns an entire 180.

Not only does his relationship with Mallory further progress, his relationship with his parents do too. He matures in so many other aspects in his life and you can tell that Mallory’s positive influence had alot to do with his transformation. For that very reason I thought they complimented each other very well.

I adored Mallory for so many reasons. She had many things going on in her personal life but she always knew what her priorities were. Her relationship with her parents was absolutely phenomenal. There are so many unforgettable moments that were very heart warming. I admired the fact that she always knew what she wanted and put her foot down and made her own decisions when “others” continued to push.

As always the supporting characters were great as well. They too were understanding and supportive to the couple’s wants and needs. In my Book 2 review I had mentioned that I would have enjoyed reading more about Noah. In this one it was Ryan that stood out for me. I thought he was a good guy even if he wasn’t meant for Mallory. Hoping that maybe we get to hear more about him in the future.

Normally to stay engrossed in a story I need some form of suspense, stress and/or tension involved. In this book there wasn’t much of that but I hardly even noticed because I was too busy swooning and grinning from ear to ear. It was that great and Evan was just so….so… all – around INCREDIBLE.

Loved, loved, loved this entire series! It was definitely this finale that was deciding factor for me adding it to my “favorites” list.

“You own my every thought, my heart, and my soul.”

When I read the first Welcome to Paradise book (Good Vibrations), I thought Evan and Mallory were just the most adorable couple ever! S.L. Scott wrote a couple who realized right away that they had something very special. Evan and Mallory are young, carefree, and so much in love. The gorgeous Hawaiian backdrop is the cherry on top! Going through the series, they seem to hit several obstacles that try to tear them apart. Although there was a lot of tension, a lot of ups and downs, these two never lost focus on what they truly wanted, which was to be together. Even apart they made things work the best way they knew how.

Both Mallory and Evan do a lot of growing in Good Sensations. Each stand their ground as people and stress from work and school make things difficult. They always seem to have their work cut out for them. My gosh, are they so hopelessly in love and full of naughtiness! One of the things I've enjoyed is all the banter between the friends. You gotta love friends who are funny and super supportive. Mallory's dad, Clay, steals some scenes in this book, too!

I think it's more enriching reading the books in this series in order. They meet in book 1, then each book after is a continuation of their whirlwind love affair. Good Sensations is my favorite of the trilogy. The entire second half of this book is dreamy. I smiled all the way to the beautiful end. It was just so perfect for Evan and Mallory!

The whole Paradise Series was amazing for me, it was a light, happy, joyful read, with some bumps & bruises a long the way. Sometimes you just want to sit down and read something that leaves you with a grin on your face. This series did that for me. I was a SUCKER for Evan and Mallory's roller coaster romance. These two were destine to be together, this book was all about the right time at the right place.

This is the Third and Final book in the series and I truly didn't want it to end. I was so happy with the ending and that everything worked out. So if you are looking for a HEA, this is a book for you!!! I enjoyed the characters, well ALL THE CHARACTERS, they reminded me of some of the same people I hung out with when I was younger. Good Sensations is very relatable on so many levels, I saw bits and pieces of my youth in S.L. Scott's writing. It was very refreshing and made me reminisce on my summer's as a young adult and the fun times I had in college. Oh to be young and in love!!!

There were times in this book I lost hope and faith. Poor Malloy just wanted to see the best in everyone, this was a recurring role from book two Good Intentions and another evil popped their head up in book two. Evan had to fight hard for his love and make her see sometimes, that everyone is not good. I am in just complete awe of this couple for what they went through to be together, stay together, and triumphed over all. This was a fun, sexy, sweet, romantic read for me and I would recommend it to EVERYONE!!! Everyone needs a good romance in their life!!!

Wow! This was an incredible 3rd book that is sexy, funny, sweet, romantic, sad, frustrating and more!

Mallory is in Colorado and missing Evan horribly. She loves him so much but there's a phone call she receives and it shakes her up and also the other men in her life who won't leave her alone.

Evan is missing Mallory something awful. All he wants is to be with her and jealous and cares extremely/passionately about her.

There is much angst, love, friendship, lies, jealously, family issues and more. But also such wonderful romance and love that will make you swoon!

Mallory... I loved her! I loved her in this book. She's sexy, more in love than ever with Evan and so much more. I loved how Evan makes her giddy and makes her so happy. It's such a good look on her to be so happy.

Evan..OMG! I thought he was swoon worthy in book 2 but boy was I wrong! Holy hotness... He's awesome, still sexy and so amazing in this book. I loved seeing him grow, be truly in love, fight for what he wanted, his true love/devotion and all the surprises.. man the surprises! wow!

I loved the friends and family also in this book. They were wonderful, humorous and encouraging/uplifting and more... wish we could see more of them maybe? wink wink. ;)

That ending...... I LOVED IT! I LOVED it so much!! Fabulously done!

Evan will definitely be your new book boyfriend for sure!!!!!!!

I fell in love with these characters in the first two books of this series and couldn't wait to read this one. I had high expectations considering the first two books were amazing and i can honestly say i wasn't disappointed !!
Mallory and Evan met and fell in love in Hawaii, and even though so many were against them they survived, now they face a long distance relationship.
OH if i didn't already love Evan i'd be totally bowled over by him in this book, he was strong, sexy, humourous and totally Evan. Mallory was stronger and more confident in this book too, and they faced every twist and problem thrown at them. The love and the banter between the two, mixed with just the right ammount of hot sexy scenes is so well written you just feel you are there with them and the book draws you in, emotionally and leaves you feeling both happy and sad, because you just don't want this story to end. All i can say is, Evan and Mallory will stay in your heart, and you will never feel the same about pineapples again !!!!

This is the 3rd book in "The Paradise Series", and it was fabulous!! As soon as I began the very first book "Good Vibrations" I could not put the book down, and left me wanting more. And, of course the second book "Good Intentions" was even more fabulous! I have been looking forward to this 3rd book and my wait has definitely paid off. I knew the moment I began reading that I was going to miss Evan and Mallory something fierce! SL Scott is an amazing writer! Her writing pulls you in and does not let go. This whole book exuded happiness the entire time. I loved Evan and Mallory's committment to each other, their wonderful sweet love for each other, honesty, and of course the hot sex as well. :) I had major swoon moments the whole time! The ending was beyond PERFECT! I highly highly recommend this entire series!

Good Sensations is the third book in the Welcome to Paradise series. This is not a stand alone. The books are each a continuation and need to be read in order. This one is the last in the series.

It's a great read. I loved reading more of Evan and Mallory. The story is told in dual POVs. The story starts out with Evan and Mallory reuniting. There are some minor bumps in their relationship but nothing too bad. Mallory and Evan are made for each other that no matter what is thrown in their way their love can overcome it. The ending was a prefect way to end the series.

I would definitely recommend you read this series.

i loved this book from start to finish. the chemistry between mallory and Evan is elecrifying. I loved how they were as a couple and showing how hard it is at distanced relationships but they can work. I love how there relationship has blossomed from the first books to now. I love how you can see there insecurities and how they work together to make the relationship work, not to mention the sexual tension when they have been apart. I loved the fact that even to the end with the pressure of all the familys they stopped and did what was right for them. Cant wait to see more from this author. great job!!

I was late to the party but I fell in love with the story so much so that I read the first 2 books in 3 days. I was so excited about Good Sensations and I can honestly say I hand on heart loved it.. If I could give it 10 stars it would. Without giving too much away from Mallory & Evans pov it was "Us Against the World". There are so many unexpected moments that become precious and heartwarming. S L Scott never disappoints however she has well and truly won my heart with this trilogy... This story will stay with you long after you close the book.. I dreamt of the story lines. ..

I reviewed this at MustReadBooksOrDie
with my friend Shelley!

shel: The first two books in this series produced some SERIOUS angst and so I was nervous about this one...fingers were crossed that I wouldn't be hanging on the edge of a high cliff at the end of this one! Good news---book 3 ends with an ending that is perfectly suited for Mallory and Evan. Don't get me wrong--there are some points in the first part where I was noticeably upset (I think my tweet to S.L. Scott was that I wanted to "throat punch" a character) and these incidents kind of set me off balance for the rest of the novel. I found myself always waiting for the other shoe to drop--which character was going to double cross or betray or create angst producing drama??!!! WHICH ONE??? I read the entire book waiting for a serious shit storm; I mean why wouldn't I --the other two books were roller coasters! I refuse to tell you whether or not my fears were confirmed --you'll have to read it!--but it was that fear that had me turning pages until the very end.

court: She is so right! The other two books seriously set me up for some MAJOR reservations about this one. I was a nervous wreck just to start. Serious wreck. I mean, I think our other reviews of this series are heavily laced with profanity, so it was a very interesting ride to read this book. But like she said...we can't tell YOU what happens!!

shel: This novel was a little different, I think, than the other two in that there were large leaps in time. This wasn't bad or distracting and was very necessary to get us to the ending. It was also different because we got some unexpected goodness out of some of our 'evil' characters and some of the characters who could've backed down and been better behaving remained douchey. I'm being noticeably vague here, but I don't want to ruin anyone's thoughts going in. court: She torments me with this lack of information so I get the full experience on a daily basis, so she really isn't going to say anything else. And it would be douchey of me to do so. ;)

shel: I loved having both Evan and Mallory's POV and I actually found Evan's to be the one I gravitated towards; it was honest and warm and I found that I really liked him and what he stood for and how he handled situations. It was nice to see him grow up and mature. court: The fact that these two are a little more mature and grown up acting, is why there is the greatest departure from before. Because for the most part the first two books are a lot of epic and dramatic fights and make up sex. So, for there to be any sort of communication for any of the characters here was incredible! Not that we weren't sucking up all the angst and drama, but character growth is an awesome part of our reading journey.

shel: Without spoiling this, I'll say that these two each end up exactly where they should be and the way they arrive there is truly perfect for their story. court: I really, really liked it! Definitely not a stand alone though!!

Shelley: 4 1/2 Stars
Courtney: 4 Stars

§Robbie's Review§

Evan saunters to me, and says, “About that undying devotion, Miss Wray.”

“And here I thought you’d only be focused on the naughty you threw into the bet at the end there.”

“You caught that, huh?”

I lean forward as if I’m going to tell him a secret, but don’t bother whispering. “Hate to break it to you, but I had you all figured out at the airport and I still slept with you. I kind of expect some naughty when it comes to you, Mr. Ashford.”

Grabbing me around the neck in a pretend headlock, he laughs. “This is why we make such a great team. We understand the dynamics of our relationship and have our priorities straight.”

“Always the charmer when it comes to sex,” I add, rolling my eyes, and patting my hair back into place.

“Worked on you.” He smiles, taking my hand and kissing it. “Luckily for me.”

As Evan Ashford and Mallory Wray reminisce about their first encounter, readers will be reminded of the back story and developing relationship between these two characters which began in Good Vibrations and continued with Good Intentions. In Good Sensations the relationship between Evan and Mallory continues to grow and develop, but not without some bumps in the road. Evan must finally come face to face with Mallory's parents and Mallory must find a way to deal with Evan's mother. Evan is constantly under siege from his family members who want him to take a more active role in the family business and make a suitable marriage. Mallory has to deal not only with a long distance romance, but with her own uncertainties about Evan and with a man who would like to take Evan's place in her life.

Good Sensations reintroduces characters from the first two books, some of whom we love and some of whom we hate. Two of Mallory's old nemeses return — one will remain her enemy and the other will move toward being her friend.

"I've done you a great disservice," she sighs, disappointment evident. "And an even greater one to my son. I wanted to give him what he needed instead of what he wanted, only to discover tonight, that what he wanted was really what he needed."

This book continues in the series tradition and won't make you want to throw your eReader across the room...it contains just enough conflict to keep it interesting. Frankly, I think the three books could have been effectively combined into one, but then the readers would have missed all that hot sex between Evan and Mallory.

Brides and grooms-to-be who are considering writing their own wedding vows will find this book an inspiration in the heartfelt exchanges between Evan and Mallory. The author definitely has a knack for language that makes you go "Awwww". Good Sensations moves along predictably to an HEA that will satisfy readers and is a must read for those who enjoyed Good Vibrations and Good Intentions.

3.5/5 stars

I was so happy to have S.L. contact me herself asking me if I wanted to review the final Welcome to Paradise installment! My response: YES PLEASE! I have gotten so sucked into this series and naturally I had to make sure I got the ending I wanted! And I did! Woooo!

At the end of the second book, Mallory and Evan are in a pretty good place. Their relationship has been a tumultuous one. These two can run very hot and cold with one another: one minute they are super hot and are head over heels crazy, passionately in love with one another and the next they tend to let their jealousy get the best of them and are storming off, pissed as hell. However, Mallory and Evan are really growing up and we definitely see that in this book. They truly love one another and will go to some pretty serious lengths to prove that to one another. We still have some jealousy issues in this book, but nothing like in the past. Evan trusts Mallory implicitly- he doesn't however, trust some of the guys hanging around her- Ryan (a friend at school who she is also working on a project with) in particular.

It's always funny to watch Evan stake his claim with her. I almost wondered if he was going to pull out his junk and pee in a circle around her! LOL. To be fair, Evan wasn't completely off base in believing the worst about some of those guys though. I am just glad he isn't taking his jealousy out on Mallory like he did in the past. She has given him no reason not to trust her. Mallory also handles her jealousy better and although she hates doing long distance with Evan, they are making it work.

My only qualm with their story is that they have too much sex. And even then, it's not a huge deal, because unlike other books out there, there is an actual storyline here. I just felt sometimes it was used as filler and could have done without so much of it.

I'm glad to see Sunny, Zach, Murphy, and Kate back in action in this book also, even though they play a more minor role. I was pleasantly surprised by how much interaction the couple had with both sets of parents! I enjoyed watching Mal's parents meet Evan and I liked seeing how Evan's parents evolved in this book. Sometimes you have to take off the blinders and see what's right in front of you before you lose it forever. That absolutely applied to Evan's mom.

As I said earlier, I am quite satisfied with the ending of this series. I felt it ended the way it was meant to and I'm glad S.L. really showed us how just how much Evan and Mallory have changed and developed since the first book.

The road to happily ever after is not always easy, but when so many curve balls are thrown into a relationship, sometimes the results are more than two people can handle. Evan and Mallory have had an interesting relationship from the very beginning. From their unusual meeting to the road blocks that have been thrown their direction, but they have made it work despite it all… but now in the third book, there are new threats and unrelenting pressures. Can this amazing couple that started as a one night stand truly find their happily ever after?

Mallory has been away from Evan for a very long month. He’s in New York, she’s in Colorado. Not very close by any estimation. So when there is a knock on her door on her birthday imagine Mallory’s surprise when Evan is standing there… the struggles these two faced being apart is enough to drive a wedge between any couple, but when you couple in the classmate who wants to be there for Mallory because long distance relationships don’t work and Evan’s ridiculously overbearing mother that is just mean and heartless to Mallory, it seems the odds are against this couple.

Will their love for one another be enough to see them through to the end or will the pressures around them be too hard and too much for them to sustain their amazing relationship? Will love conquer all or will it face its bitter death?

This book was a great follow up in this series and the characters are just wonderful. They are not flawless but they are not perfect either. They have this amazing determination within that just pushes you to keep reading even though you get so angry just so you can find your smile again just to have it taken away… the volleying between emotions is just amazing. The characters just keep it gripping and I hoped for a happily ever after. I wanted them to succeed when so many others have failed. And this book kept me reading to find out if they would make it.

It was well written and had a great story to go with it. But it wasn’t just the main two characters that kept me going, it was the interactions with the others that just made me smile. Mallory and Evan weren’t dealt the easiest cards in a relationship but they wanted so badly to make it all work out that you couldn’t help but fall even more in love with them!

The writing and the story were captivating and I kept me interested. They made me smile and feel emotions and I really enjoyed this book!

S. L. Scott continues to keep her readers in paradise as we live and learn about true love through Evan and Mallory. Summer is over and it is back to each other's separate realities. Evan is back in the Big Apple living the glamorous, corporate way of life and Mallory, is living the college, student life in laid back Colorado. Even in their separate worlds, we feel their draw and need to be together but for obvious reasons, life stands in their way. You have Evan, clearly SEXY with ALPHA MALE tendencies, arrogant, cocky, lovable, romantic surfer boy but yet, very professional and corporate in ways who continues to woo us into a ROMANCE TRANCE as he fights to keep his relationship with his naturally beautiful, feisty, sexy, intelligent, and independent girlfriend, Mallory. Clearly Evan has a way with words as he continues to try to prove his love to Mallory with words like, " My memories don't do you justice and yet in my memories, you're the most beautiful girl in the world... I don't think it's possible to ever love anyone as much as I love you." Both Evan and Mallory are desirable to many as they live life in their separate worlds which causes some doubt and obvious obstacles as they fight to stay together not letting the outside distractions take over making them question their true love. Does true love win? If nothing else, their romance road is so worth reading and the romance hangover lingers so much so, you will read this book over and over again!!! Once again, S.L. Scott authors another 5 STAR MUST READ concluding the story of Evan's and Mallory's love story. This story will have you laughing, crying, biting you nails, pounding the ground, gritting your teeth, feeling all warm and sexy as the reader fights along and routes for this couple that truly belongs together. Will they find their own paradise? READ THIS MUST READ 5 STAR BOOK to find out!!!!
