What an AMAZING read this was for me. The story line and characters were FANTASTIC. While I was reading; I smiled, I cried, I found myself thinking OH NO… and then…OH YES! Lorenz Font has a way with her writing that drew every emotion out of me. It's been quite a while since I've read a book that had such an emotional impact on me.

The hero, Parker, and the heroine, Kelly, were both very original characters. Parker is blind and Kelly is a well-known actress. They both had some problems in their lives that they kept to themselves. Those were the things that made them PERFECT for each other, even though they did not know it for quite some time.

Kelly made a big mistake that started right out of the gate, and once Parker found out about it their relationship took a big hit. Then to make matters worse, Parker got hit with another dreadful situation. All this time, Kelly was flying around trying her hardest to reach Parker to try to explain just why she did what she did. While doing so, things went from bad to worse for her. Once she finally caught up with Parker, he was SO closed down; he would not listen to anything Kelly had to say. He ended up doing and saying some TERRIBLE things to her. This had me sobbing so hard, and all the while thinking NO ONE should have to go through all this just for making a mistake, I don't care how big the mistake was! After some time has passed, Parker finds out why Kelly did what she did and it was NOT for the reasons he was thinking. I'm telling you this story was heart-wrenching! But have no fear, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The sex/love scenes were very erotic, with a hint of some light BDSM. These scenes were very original and brought some exciting new- to-me material, which added a lot to my overall enjoyment. I loved reading these scenes, and could not wait for the next encounter to see what Parker and Kelly would be doing next.

It took a while for these two to finally understand why they did the things they did. I LOVED the way everything worked out, and YAY, we got an epilogue that had me grinning ear to ear!

Overall this was an EXCELLENT read. Looks like I found myself another talented author who I'll be waiting to release another book for me to read.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who enjoys a story with an erotic edge, a little kink thrown in for good measure, and one that will definitely engage the reader’s emotions.

*****5 Beautiful Heartwarming Stars*****

When I first started this book, I really didn't think I was going to like it - let alone - finish it, but I was very surprised that it wasn't what I thought at all.

I loved the story line and my attention was held captive after about 20% into the book

It is a heartwarming love story between Kelly (Ann) who is a well-known beautiful movie star who is going through a depression after finding her boyfriend cheating on her and then losing her daughter 8 months into the pregnancy. She doesn't trust easy because of past experiences.

Then we have Parker (*heart-throb) who is blind. He is a well known masseur who suffers from a disease which slowly took his eyesight. He is also a Dom who loves role-playing (he comes up with some funny scenarios).

This is a perfect premises for a story - we have Kelly who wants someone to love her for herself not her looks or career. So what does Kelly do?? She doesn't tell Parker who she really is or anything about her past. Parker thinks he is falling in love with an average, rich woman.

Well, the poop hits the fan when Parker finds out......

Sorry, you have to read the story in order to find out. :-)

Definitely worth picking up this book when it hits the shelves.

So this is my first Lorenz Font novel, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Please be aware that this is a review of an ARC, so the books contents are still subject to change.

Parker Davis is blind and as the synopsis explains, he uses his heightened senses, particularly touch to provide the best massage therapy that money can buy. On the outside everyone sees him as happy, in control of his condition and generally well adjusted to the hand life has dealt him. On the inside the picture is quite different, Parker struggles with the loss of his sight and the loss of freedom it has led to. He strives to live up to an ideal and what he imagines are the expectations of those around him. In private Parker is a Dom, and uses the control he exerts in the bedroom as an outlet to alleviate the stress he feels over the loss of control he has over the rest of his life.

Kelly Storm is a world famous actress, trying to hide from the public glare the deep desperation and unhappiness that is her life of late. Battling against a heartbreaking loss, and a very public relationship split, she is pushed into a massage with Parker, through her assistant's coercion, under an assumed name. The massage opens something up deep in her, and pushes her to release some of the build up of emotions she has had to keep hidden away for so long. It is also the beginning of their relationship, a relationship that starts with secrets and the avoidance of the truth.

The initial build up of their relationship is pretty quick, and although it's not insta-love, they are declaring their feelings for each other pretty quickly, but it felt right to me, and I think it is mainly due to the strong emotional connection between them whilst initially at the massage therapist/client stage, and Lorenz Font's writing of their meeting transfers this connection to the reader beautifully. Because of that I could understand Parker's reaction when Kelly's secrets were revealed, as it also exposed to everyone the inner insecurities he had tried to hard to keep hidden from those around him.

I do feel Kelly's whole acceptance of Parker's kinks in the bedroom a little easygoing, but I have to admit (and I am not really sure if the author meant it to come across this way) but I laughed my socks off at a particular "scene" in the last chapter of the book, although it was still quite sexy, it just struck me as wholly laughable at the same time......

I have to say that for me, this is a unique book. It really felt like Lorenz Font, had taken the time to actually understand the complexities of being without sight, the reminders of how many steps to a certain point, directions to 1 o'clock to find a glass of wine, and Parker's inner monologue really bought the point home. Also the actions of those closest to him really came across that they were used to/comfortable with his loss of sight.

This book is really worth a look if you are looking for an alpha male who is just a little bit different from all the others out there at the moment.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in place of an honest review.

Parker Davis owns several massage businesses and is names Feather Light because of his hands. They are magic and can make you feel wonderful afterwards. The only thing that is wrong in his life is that he is blind with a disease that he found out he had. Even though he had years to get used to it, it was still hard to never be able to drive or other things people take for granted.

Kelly Storm aka Ann Sutton is a movie star and is getting over a bad relationship. She needs to get over the past and learn how to trust again. The only one that can give her any piece is Parker when she goes and gets a massage. There also seems to be a connection between them.

This story was one that I could read over and over again. It is one that will leave you with that wonderful feeling inside. I wouldn't know what I would do if I found out that I was losing my sight and would have to depend on people when I am used to do things myself. These two characters bring out the best and worst of each other. Both have secrets and I can understand Kelly wanting to keep things on the down. She was warned by her friend Jessica that things would end up blowing in her face if she wasn't truthful.

The author did an amazing job and I just couldn't put this book down. I had times when I wondered what in the world is Kelly thinking. This is a very touching story and will make you look at things differently.

I truly enjoyed reading this book simply because it is very well written and that the author did not sacrifice the story line for the infusion of erotic scenes. It is a perfect balance of sex & heart. It depicts the characters in a realistic fashion where man is flawed and make mistakes. Plus the "feel good" that there is always hope and forgiveness.

You cannot help but relate to the characters and understand their pain. How can you not forgive Parker? And how can you not empathize with Kelly? And not to mention the sex/lovemaking....steamy. Is is just an awesome read!

I received Feather Light through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I have
to say this was an original take on romance for me. Parker is impressive with his ability
to not only function in the world as a blind man, but to succeed as he did, not only in
business but also in his personal life. He doesn’t play victim to his circumstances. It also
made it very easy to see why he needed control in the bedroom as he had lost control over
many aspects in his life.

Kelly was a mystery at the beginning of the book. As the story went on we were able to
see the need for secrecy and control she desired in her own life. Being a victim to the
media and past events, she decided to try to live in the shadows as much as her career
would allow. Fearing that no one would ever see the real Kelly, yet also afraid that
someone would, she was in a constant fight or flight mode. How the two came together
and relinquished part of the control they desired was amazing to read.

I think Lorenz gave us a glimpse into the world of two damaged characters, struggling
with the idea if they could control every part of their lives, they would then be able to
prevent bad things from happening. That is until they discovered it also prevented real
love to enter. Both Parker and Kelly had to decide if the love for each other was worth
the risk of letting down the protective walls and share the secrets they had been hiding.
Secret losses, heartbreaks and fears stood a great chance of winning in this story, but
through angst and determination the truth finally won out.

The story is a quick one to read, because frankly it is so fast paced you don't want to put
it down. The constant tug of war between running away and running to, always kept
the suspense going. When Kelly and Parker love, they love well and it is hot. When
they fight, they go toe to toe and fight and it is intense. When they run, you wonder if
they will ever stop running away. There are many sides to these two characters. Lorenz
always kept you guessing as to how they would react to the current chaos going on in
their lives.

The supporting cast was also wonderful and they deserve a mention as well. Webbie
is Parker’s assistant and also good friend. She is protective of Parker. She became yet
another obstacle that Kelly was going to have to get over to have him. I hope we see
more of Webbie's story in the future because it seems a shame to have her end with
Parker and Kelly's story. She is a dynamic little firecracker who goes after what she
wants and I think she is a great example for Kelly to finally put fear aside and reach for
the love she deserves.

This is the third book of Font’s that I’ve had the pleasure of reading and reviewing, but it’s the first non-vampire one. For Feather Light, Font has left the paranormal world behind in favor of a new, erotic one—and I like it. In fact, I enjoyed this one so much that I pushed aside everything to read this in a day—something I’ve not been inclined to do for a while.

Font’s newest offering is being marketed as an erotic romance. There is some light BDSM to it, however I would not classify this as a book belonging to that particular genre. Allow me to elaborate on that.

Because of my work on The Divine Trilogy, Font approached me and asked for my honest assessment of this book. What I found in the male lead, Parker Davis, was not so much a Dom as a man with a dominant persona and a side-taste for kink. When Davis, the successful proprietor of Knead Me, finds his sight diminishing due to an illness, he grabs and holds onto the one thing in his life he can still have full control over—sex. With a woman blindfolded, bound, and at his mercy, he owes no explanations for his lack of sight. His magical hands that move with a feather light touch, need no light to bring forth cries of release and pleasure thus building his self-confidence and helping him keep his sanity when the rest of his world is spiraling out of control.

Enter Kelly Storm: famous actress and Hollywood “It” girl who is desperate for an escape, for a chance to NOT be seen for once, and watch the sparks fly.

Feather Light is a tale of loss, trust, and love; of learning that no matter how hard it gets, with determination, anything can be overcome. We also get to see a little bit of playful side to Font with her creativity in this book. All I’m gonna say is, “Go, George!”

I can give Feather Light a 5 butterfly recommendation without reservation.

I really enjoyed this book. Parker is a hot masseur who is successful even though he is legally blind due to RP.

Kelly is a successful actress who has been hurt by a former lover, stalked by the pap's and looking for some peace and relaxation.

Sparks fly when Parker, dubbed Feather Light, touches Kelly for the first time easing her tension and releasing the pent up pain and anxiety.

The one place Parker has complete control of his life is in the bedroom. He enjoys setting up scenes and crazy sexy role-play. Though everybody's kink is different with no two couples alike, it works for Parker. Kelly is entranced and after their first time making love, she can't get enough. The Internet being quite informative for her, she makes use of herself and scenes as a body plate.

Due to deceit and her hidden identity, Kelly has lied to Parker about who she really is, the relationship takes a tragic turn when Parker finds out she has lied to him. In his anger, his scene becomes very intense and though Kelly consents and doesn't use her safeword, there is a fine line that people will feel was crossed. Did it break my heart, yes it did. Did I feel she knew what she was doing, yes I did. Did I wish Parker hadn't pushed her that far, absolutely! But under the circumstances, it worked to show his deep rooted pain, her true love for him and both were redeemed in my mind.

I look forward to more from this author and her unique writing style! She has come a long way in her writing skills and storytelling!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review

I enjoyed this book and read it pretty quickly because I wanted to see how things ended up! These two characters had great chemistry. I felt like Parker's disability gave a different dimension to their relationship and I found that very interesting. there is some light BDSM dom/sub stuff that kind of took me by surprise because there was no mention of it in the description but it made sense to the story. This was a very emotional book at times, one scene in particular was very heavy and even difficult to read but at the same time very necessary for Parker's character.
Here is my Parker

and here is my Kelly/Ann

I found myself irritated with Kelly/ Ann early in the book ( I hate a big secret!!) but the more I read the more I liked her. She definitely had here reasons and she turned out to be very strong and perseveres through some very tough situations.
Overall an enjoyable story with some really great characters.

First of all, don't let the title fool you. This book is AMAZING! I have read all of Lorenz's books and based on the title of this one, I expected something similar to Indivisible Line. I was wrong! This book is an erotic tale with some BDSM mixed in and it is fantastic. Kelly and Parker have a spark that we don't see often, especially considering Parker's issues. I applaud Lorenz for taking on something that is rarely seen, and respected, in this genre with Parker. Thank you for acknowledging that not everyone is perfect, but we all feel the same emotions and have the same desires in life. I couldn't put this book down and I will recommend it over and over again. It is a great look into a person's psyche that we don't normally get to see, but we all need to appreciate. 5 out of 5!!

I'm sad to say that I didn't really care for this book. I wanted so badly to like it but the more I read, the worse it got and the more frustrated I became. The BDSM aspect is extremely light, uneven and not realistic at all. The heroine is no heroine at all and was the main reason that I didn't care for this book. An uncomfortable scene towards the end made the hero look very bad and didn't seem to have much of a point except to make the reader squirm and/or to make borderline rape seem okay...

I want to start with what I liked about this book. The writing was very good. As unlikable as some of the characters were, I found myself really enjoying the writing. I think this author knows how to tell a story. Up until 3/4 of the way through the book, I also loved the hero, Parker. Parker is pretty much mostly blind. He can see fuzzy shapes and light and darkness but that's about it. I liked how he was able to live his life fairly independently (he still had to have a driver) and be a successful business owner. I thought it was absolutely clever for the author to have him be a massage therapist because that is totally believable! If you think about a massage, the room is dimly light anyways so if you're really good at your job, you could probably give a massage without looking. Of course, Parker is built, attractive, and rich which makes him pretty easy to like! But he seemed to have a really upbeat outlook on life and didn't let some stupid ol' disease get in his way. Unfortunately, towards the end of the book, the author makes you wonder if Parker is living under the premise of "Fake It 'Til You Make It" because a lot of things kind of catch up to him and he doesn't seem to be keeping it all together.

One of the things that I didn't like about the book was what happens to Parker when he finds out "Ann"'s true identity. There's a scene that's probably a hairs breadth away from rape and I really didn't see a point in it. I found it extremely distasteful. The author could have given Parker plenty of other ways to vent his anger and frustration and I just didn't think what he did matched his character up to that point. I also didn't like the author's attempt at adding the BDSM element to the sex scenes. I think it was poorly done, mostly goofy and not really very sexy at all. Lastly, the heroine, Kelly, is pathetic. Now, I have my own views on celebrities and their privacy. I think if you get paid millions of dollars to act in a movie and that you expect hard working people to fork over $20 to go see, losing your anonymity should not be a big surprise and you can't really be THAT upset over it. Everybody knows how being a celebrity works now. That's not to say that photogs should be taking photos through windows or with long angled lenses onto a boat or into someone's backyard. I also don't think they should be allowed to take photos of celebrities' kids. In fact, I think photogs who do those things should be prosecuted. But you're not going to get sympathy from me when you're beautiful and richer than I'll ever hope to be and you complain because people want your autograph when you go to Whole Foods in Brentwood or whatever the place is that you ALWAYS SEE CELEBRITIES. Sorry, that's just my view. Unfortunately (at for the purposes of THIS review), this is pretty much what defines the heroine's personality. Her desire for privacy... as she books more ad campaigns and does more press junkets. If you're rich, why don't you stop living in LA and NYC? I mean, come on. Then the heroine reveals that she lost a baby - she was stillborn at around 8 months. Jesus, that's awful and tragic and what the hell is the point of it?? Her whole story was depressing and I couldn't muster up one bit of sympathy, compassion or even any kind of fondness for Kelly. Especially after she had several opportunities to tell Parker who she really was and didn't because she chickened out. Why not tell him? You're a giant movie star, beautiful and he loves hanging out with you... why continue to hide it? I found Parker's rage completely realistic since I didn't ever like her.

I hate giving this only 2 stars when I wanted to like it so much more. The author's entertaining writing can't make up for a heroine that I couldn't get behind. Random depressing, vaguely offensive scenes and character histories make this a book that, I'm sorry to say, I don't think I could recommend.

4 out of 5 for this reader folks!

Feather Light by Lorenz Font is classified as a contemporary erotica novel. This is the first book I have ever read by this author and I found it to be an interesting read. It didn't blow my mind but I felt engaged in the story and characters enough to keep flipping the pages! The erotica was mild in my opinion. There were elements of BDSM, role playing and an honest desire to please between our main couple. There was no sexual line crossed that made me cringe and reading these two get to know each other sexually was quite sweet and humorous. I can see an average couple who want to spice up the bedroom engaging in kind of play these two do.

Our main man is Parker Davis, massage therapist, business owner, kinky, dominant, smart, hot, funny and fun and everyone loves and admires him. He also is suffering from a degenerative eye disease that has left him legally blind (he can make our shapes and such if the light is just right). Parker has refused to let this disease slow him down and hold him back in his life. With the help of his trusted brother and close female friend, Parker can accomplish anything and you had better think twice if you try to pity his fine ass. Parker has a reputation of providing the best massages money can buy. It's not sex he is selling on the massage table but his feather light touch and beautiful soul somehow speaks to his clients and allows them a place to be emotionally vulnerable. Many have found emotional release and by referring his services, Parker now owns several businesses across the USA.

Kelly Storm is our main lady. She has become a seriously talented actress who is now quite the overnight sensation. Coming off a bad relationship however, her self esteem has taken a beating. She constantly has to disguise herself when she is in public and she feels suffocated by the oppressive paparazzi. When she is booked an appointment on Parker massage table, she is disguised and absolutely blown away at the capacity that this man has at stripping away all her pain.

These two have an instant connect. Parker knows there is something special about this woman despite the fact that he can't see her. Kelly hides behind the name Ann and before she realizes that this lie will bite her, she is head over heels in love with Parker. Parker is desperate to dominate Ann (Kelly) and he also begins to fall hard. Can this relationship survive on the lie that is between them? Can Parker forgive Ann (Kelly) for the deceit he is surely soon to discover??

This book would of been a 3 out of 5 for me if it were not for the last quarter of this book. The first three quarters was a little choppy (meaning that I interpreted an abrupt end scene, enter new scene) and I wish there was a smoother flow. I rolled my eyes a couple of times but I always found and adored the humor. I wanted to smack Kelly and tell her to spill it already and thought she was kind of an idiot for holding her secret back ... but that is what the story is about right?? LOL The last quarter, I have to admit I had a book of tissues with me. I cried my eyes out as the hurt and the betrayal came out, and especially for Parker who is seriously deep inside truly full of issues himself. I think the author did absolute justice to this aspect of the book.

So while this isn't a light fluffy read, it isn't as heavy as it could of been! This is a good book for those that have never read anything with the BDSM element.

HAPPY READING! :)

HOLY FEATHER LIGHT Lorenz has done it again. Man I love her writing style and the world she creates because I know every time I pick up one of her books I am going to get the best vacation ever. And as predicated I went on such an emotional roller coaster that at the end of the book I could not read for the rest of the day. I could not start another but because I had been thoroughly through the wringer and back. I mean dam I laughed, I cried, and I 100% screamed at my kindle like a nut because of the crazy decisions and choices that we being made. But in the end Lorenz redeemed herself and she is held in the highest of literary esteem!

Parker Davis is the worlds best massage therapist. When he messages a person he brings them to a whole other world by his sensual touch and feather light strokes of the muscles and his soothing voice like balm on a burn. Yes folks he is that good and he knows his stuff. He has a large clientele and loves what he does except for one small detail and that detail is he is blind. Yes folks he is one badass blind mofo. He can bring a person close to orgasm with his touches!

Kelly Storm is stressed out from being a famous actress and she needs a break. She is tired of the dam paparazzi and their intrusiveness never giving her one minute to herself. So her friend recommends she go see Parker Davis and get some much needed relaxation. When Kelly arrives to see Parker she knows the minute Parker touches her that things are about to change. Their is something about Parker that calls to her soul and her spirit but can things work out for her and Parker because she carries secrets and she is a famous actress.

As things heat up for these two they will be tested and when Kelly messes up she does it royally and boy oh boy does Parker give her hell and he is not easy to forgive her. He totally ices her out of his life and Kelly is left hurting and wanting Parker but not sure if he will ever see her again or talk to her again. Can Kelly and Parker get their HEA? You have to read it to find out!

Feather Light by Lorenz Font

Feather Light is about a modern day actress dealing with the frenzy that is the paparazzi in today’s celebrity news driven world. Kelly Storm has suffered a bad public break up and personal tragedy. So when her friend tells her about the popular masseuse that has a reputation of a feather light touch she decides to try.

Parker Davis has made it in the business of massage. Even though he has a sight disability Parker has his life firmly in control. Parker likes to be in control of everything he especially likes control in the bedroom.

Okay, so…. my opinion. I liked both of these characters from the get go. I found Kelly endearing and Parker to be sweet. However, the first time we see Parker in a sexual situation it is with a friend and sex partner (not Kelly) role playing. The entire Jetsons theme was a turn off to me. Cartoon characters getting it on? No thank you. Parker is also described as being somewhat of a Dom. The BDSM (I really wouldn’t even call it that) for most of the book was VERY light.

The reasons for their fall out felt like a bundle of misunderstandings and overreactions on both their parts. By the time I got to the makeup scene I was skim reading, never a good thing.

**I received this book from The Writer’s Coffee Shop Publishing House through NetGalley for an honest review.**

3.5 stars

Parker is a masseur who owns three shops in New York and California. He has a disease that has left him with declining vision but he refuses to let that stop him, especially in the bedroom. Kelly is a famous Hollywood actress who will do whatever it takes for a little bit of peace and privacy.

I thought Feather Light was pretty good. It was something a little different for me being that Parker was blind and I honestly didn’t know what to expect.

I liked Kelly and Parker both from the start. As with any story where there is lying I knew how it would all go down but I was still on pins and needles during it. There were some intense scenes that I sped through because I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next.

I liked how Parker’s blindness wasn’t made out to be a daily hindrance. The way he was able to live his life so normal had me forgetting that he was blind at times. There were moments where I could feel his pain. I thought he dealt really well with everything that was handed to him except for one or two parts.

I was OK with Kelly’s choosing to go the way she did to a certain extent. It was understandable but of course after a certain amount of time I felt like enough was enough.

While there was kind of an insta love I liked how this one played out. I liked the laid back, not all up in your face approach. Overall a good quick read that involved a little bit of role-play.

I started this novel excited by the idea of a blind hero. This allowed to highlight the difficulties encountered and overcome by Parker. His illness handicaps him but he manages to overcome the obstacles by anticipating and leading a life as normal as possible. I liked that the character shows how he liked to be treated... As everyone!

Beyond having a flourishing business, the hero also falls under the spell of a famous actress who refuses to reveal her identity for fear of being used. Quite honestly, Kelly and her lies did not enchanted me. She appears weak, preferring to hide than to face her problems. She is the opposite of Parker. The duo could have find balance, if Kelly had not been slow to reveal her secrets.

If the start of the love story is quite soft, I've dropped completely my book when Parker loses control of his actions and his words become cruel fueled by anger, alcohol and pain. For me, the way it treats Kelly, when she comes to apologize, made me extremely uncomfortable.
If I found the story interesting with good passages and a strong hero, from this scene on, all was screwed up. Although I know that under the anger you can easily overreacted, I blocked.
Humiliated and used people to vent your frustrations, it does not excite me at all.

Even if the hero crawled to apologize, the harm has already been done...

Feather Light was an unexpected read in so many ways. The writing was good, with good dialogues and insights regarding love and relationship. Parker's condition, that of gradually going blind, was tackled well in this book. Kelly's plight as an actress who has no privacy in her life is also given some depth as to how invasive the media has become. This premise was well set, giving credence as how the two can meet and keep up secret identities. What was also great about this book was how it was able to show how destructive they both were to each other and to their relationship when as individuals they were unable to deal with their past hurts. The way Parker was trying to be upbeat about his condition, giving the illusion that he has dealt with it and the consequences of his blindness when in fact it seemed to just fester. The way Kelly kept trying to keep Parker from finding out who she really was, convinced that it will only destroy what they had, like what happened to all her other relationships. This came to head in one scene that was disturbing to read. In a way there was dubious consent on Kelly's part which some readers might not agree with. The erotica aspect especially the kink factor was just on the light side of things despite the fact that Parker was into BDSM in the bedroom. Feather Light is an engaging read that most romance readers will like.

First of all, I didn't know what to expect when I started this novel. The thought of a blind masseuse was intriguing and wasn't something I have ever encountered in a romance novel til now. In my opinion, this is what drew me in and kept me reading. Parker's character was my favorite hands down,he comes across as strong and self-assured but on the inside he really doesn't like that he has to now rely on others, and understandably resents the fact that he's not only lost his eye-sight but his freedom as well. His character came across as very comical to me at times, he liked to role play and some of the situations were hilarious.Overall his character was very endearing and makes you want to see him happy. I had a love-hate relationship with Kelly's character, part of me understood where she was coming from by not wanting to reveal who she really was, but I felt she took it to far and should have told the truth sooner. This probably would have saved both her and Parker a lot of heartache in the end. This was a very unique and heartwarming read, Lorenz Font weaves an exceptional story that draws you in and doesn't let got til the end. Looking forward to reading more from this amazing author. This book was given to me to read via Net Galley for an honest review

Kelly Storm, living the dream a life of an actress, she has no privacy ever, she finally meets someone who she wants to settle down with and share her life with, but she tries to do it without all the explanations and the paparazzi, and succeeds in making things worse by way of secret keeping.

Meet Parker Davis, he is not only blind, but has been nick named Feather Light because of his famous massaging techniques, and not only that he is an exciting Dom who likes to role play.

He has a whole range of followers who not only look after to him because of his impediment, but also because they all want a piece of him, whether its for his heavenly looks, his feather light caressing touch or his dominant nature with fantasy play, he is in demand

Kelly has never before in her life experienced anything to this degree, and after a lot of research she decides to trial role play with Parker, is it a success or a failure, you will have to read the story to find out.

Put Kelly and Parker together and you get a exciting wild ride, its totally un put downable.

Romance meets real life. Life doesn't usually look like the fantasies we read about (that's why they are called "fantasies"). Every now and then, though, it's nice to read a story that is just realistic enough it could be true.

In this story, both our hero and heroine have issues -- physical and emotional. Don't we all? It's refreshing to me to see this author's take on how to work through those issues while working on a new relationship. Sometimes, it's necessary to lean on others and (gasp) even ask for help and forgiveness. We make mistakes, we deal, we move on -- but usually not without outside support. Even our strongest heroes have weaknesses; I believe that how the hero deals with his weakness shows his greatest strength.

This book took me along for Parker and Kelly's journey, and I definitely enjoyed the ride.

Thanks to the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of this book via Netgalley, in return for my honest review.

Thank you for the opportunity to review an ARC of Feather Light.

This was an easy light read. Enjoyed the interaction between the characters and Parker has a beautiful soul. Enjoyed his dominance in the bedroom, but no so much his role playing of characters during the dominance. I believe Kelly was too paranoid about letting Parker know that she was an actress seeing as she knew he would eventually find out who she was and hopefully build their relationship to something permanent, so I thought she played on it a bit too long. Was not too happy with Parkers turn in personality when he finally found out who Kelly was and his violent treatment of her. Some instances when Parker reached for things made me feel that he wasn’t as blind as he was but I tried to overlook them.

Overall I enjoyed this book and was happy there was a HEA, no cliffhangers or follow up books.

Lorenz Font proved once again that she can touch the heart with another witty, emotionally true to life and charming novel. She delivered heat, passion and romance with a very strong conflict to keep the reader hooked. Feather Light fills your heart overflowing with love. A delightful novel where you can find all you want in an erotic romance. The passion and sensuality keeps you emotionally captivated! Another winner you don't want to miss.

Great sexy story. All Kelly wants is to be left alone to live her life. She is searching for some way to relax, which leads her to Parker. Parker can tell something is up with this woman but doesn't know she is famous actress. It was a great story!

This was a little out of my genre of what I usually read, but I enjoyed reading Parker and Kelly's story. I found some aspect are relatable, which gave it a more realistic quality. Some people have been through that mentality of not trusting people due to being wronged in the past. I'd like to see it as a way to learn and grow from that. However, it takes a lot to hone in faith and patience to get back to a durable trust foundation. It takes a lot of practice to get there too. Unfortunately, our leading lady went through some rough times such as finding out that her boyfriend has been cheating on her, and having a miscarriage late into the pregnancy. That's an immense amount of pain to endure. In a world of hurt, she just wants to find someone she can trust, and who will love her for her and not her looks or career. Kelly thinks she can find that in Parker.

The twist in this story is that the love interest, Parker, is legally blind which presents challenges for him. Guys (as well as girls) immediately pays attention to looks first and sometimes the only thing they care about. Unfortunately, Kelly takes full advantage of his disadvantage which can lead to the very thing she values: trust. They say honesty is the best policy for a reason. Parker suffers from a disease that robbed him of his eyesight. Having lack of one of his senses only heightened other senses such as touch for example. That comes in handy for the masseuse / closeted Dom who enjoys a good role playing, which comes into play that heats things up between Kelly and Parker. Although having lack of sight, it does not keep Parker from setting his sights on Kelly. Another realistic and enjoyable thing about the character development is that their feelings were not instant love-at-first-sight (or touch), it gradually grew to that point as the more they spend time together and get to know each other better. Once their feelings for each other gets deeper and is in full bloom, the connection between Kelly and Parker is palpable -- kind of like Parker's magical hands. They don't call him 'Feather Light' for nothing if not for his feather light, orgasmic touch. Light as a feather, stiff as a board (if you know what I mean ;).

Their steamy, passionate, and intimate scenes really heats up the pages. Being a closeted Dom, Parker alleviates control by taking business in massage. Well, when it comes to Kelly, self-control is out the window when they have passionate encounters. I'm not too much into the whole dom/sub situation for it can get out of control which is a turn off for me, but Parker is demanding in the bedroom which only he can peak arousal on a drop of a hat. He does not overdo it or disappoint. Kelly can attest to that, I'm sure.

Of course, once you throw in lies and secrets, stuff is going to hit the fan and nothing good comes from it (unless later resolved). Lies and secrets are two things that can break trust, and Kelly, in a way, became a hypocrite by doing just that. There are going to be repercussions. What I mean by that is that it's clear that she has trust issues. And she took advantage of Parker's lack of sight in hopes of finding a man who can love her if he did not know who she really is or what she does. In the end, it blew up in her face. Although I do not condone one particular scene as it turned dangerous, I'm not surprised at Parker's reaction (he is a dom after all) when he found out about the truth about Kelly, because look what she did. She brought it upon herself by taking advantage of him by lying to him. Then again I can't say I blame her after what she went through which brought on her trust issues. Imagine how Parker felt when he found out the truth after all the people in his life, too, took advantage of his disability. It hits like a ton of bricks to have it done repeatedly. All angst aside, they feel too deeply for each other to not work things through.

I'm aware that I talk a lot about the trust or lack thereof in this story, because it's one of the most important aspects of Parker and Kelly's story, and it's something we all can learn from time and time again. As much as I'd like to see them continue their story, I felt the ending tied up fittingly. Font was thoughtful when writing the character development, pace, and plot with a nice touch of an ending (pun intended). There is a HEA, and no cliffhangers which I find is a relief. The story felt complete, and left no questions or confusion. What I like to see in a story is that it should have you perceive things in a new light, and Font did a good job in that area with this story.

Feather Light

This ARC was given by The Writer's Coffee Shop Publishing House via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I give this book 3 stars........

I liked how this book gave the main character, Parker Davis, a challenge by being blind. It was a nice difference to the other romances out there. I loved the characters' names and the characters. I did not like some of the terms used during the hot love scenes and I really did not care for the role playing.

Parker Davis is beautiful and perfect, except for the small fact he can't see. He has slowly lost his sight over the years to a disease that claims sight. Because of his hindrance, he is super aware of his other senses. He also demands complete control in the bedroom. Parker owns a hand full of super successful massage spas across the nation. His not being able to see and feather like touches are the perfect scenario for Kelly Storm, aka Ann Sutton.

Kelly is a beautiful and very successful actress. She is still suffering the loss of her unborn child and the betrayal of her last lover. She instantly finds herself attracted to Parker and likes how he is attracted to her and not the celebrity status. She does not give her real name to him and she is in disguise every time she has an appointment. After she instantly (too soon for me) starts falling for him, she knows she has to tell him the truth. Of course, she does not do this in time and Parker feels betrayed and lied to. Will he forgive her and will his one night of drunken anger be too much to scare her away forever?

Parker Davis is the most sought after message therapist in LA. Kelly Storm is an A-list actress with the paparazzi watching her every move. Kelly seeks Parker out not only for his feather light touch, but his limited sight as well. Parker's almost blindness gives her the anonymity she needs, yet it holds her back from opening herself up to the man who could be exactly what she needs.

When I first started reading this story, I admit, it was not what I was expecting, but in a really good way. It is told in third person narrative and we get a very distinct picture of both Parker and Kelly's day-to-day challenges. Parker's lack of vision was not the biggest obstacle in his life. The pressure of owning his message therapy business, Knead Me, in three different cities and his distinct sexual appetite posed their own problems. Kelly is a year out of a break up where she lost more than just a significant other. Apart they are surviving, but together they create the perfect mess.

This was my first experience reading Font's work and I was literally blown away. The way she evoked such imagery of Parker's world drew me in deeper with each passing word. The story she created out of the chaos of Kelly and Parker's lives is one I will carry with me for years to come. The memories of their passion filled escapades won't vanish anytime soon either!

So disappointed in this book... it was such a good idea for an erotic story with him being blind and a massage therapist. That's what drew me to the story originally. The sex was just too juvenile and did not appeal to me in any way. The role playing was just odd... the Jetsons?? Arm my weapon?? It was all just a little too silly...
I don't read too many BDSM books and really know nothing about this lifestyle but the attempt to make this BDSM just didn't seem realistic or erotic.
I liked Parker's back story and his career choice but sadly just didn't like him. And, even though I sympathize with some of the tragic events of Kelly's past... I just didn't buy into the whole poor me I'm a famous movie star persona. It was annoying...
The one scene that really blew it for me was when he forced himself on her out of anger... and even though she let him do it that doesn't make it okay. I hate books that give the impression that it is okay to forgive and forget those type of acts. And, why ruin a great character by turning him into a jerk?! I might've been able to tolerate all of his silly bedroom behavior had it not been for this one scene. After that I was just done...
That's about it... just didn't like it...

3.5 stars rounded up.

This was a nicely paced enjoyable read about two people with a few issues to deal with. I was happy with the fact that it focused on the relationship between Parker and Kelly. Don’t misunderstand there was some angst but nothing that had to do with anyone being in danger or chased in any way. That was fairly refreshing.

Parker has to deal with his increasing blindness and face the fact that he really hasn’t dealt with it no matter how hard he pretends to. I liked him a lot, but thought he went way OTT when he found Kelly’s true identity. I won’t spoil it, but it was tough to read and forgive him, which I felt Kelly did way too easy.

I understood why Kelly kept her fame a secret. She wanted to be loved for the real person she was, not the one on the big screen. I think she should’ve divulged this little tid bit sooner; maybe Parker wouldn’t have gone so far off the rails. The knowledge of who Kelly was brought everything to a head and the two of them had to face their issues and do it on their own.

Overall, this is a heartwarming story with some wonderfully hot and steamy sex scenes and a happy ending :)

I was gifted this copy for an honest review, I only wish I would have bought this copy myself. This story is wonderful while it dabbles a bit in role playing its more of a love story Between Kelly Ann and Parker. I loved every minute of it. The bit of drama thats in the story is spread out and it doesnt make you want to say 'come on they have been through enough' Lorenz has given us a wonderful story and if I could give this more than five stars I would. Beautiful story of love, lies, finding your true self, and just being happy with the hand you were dealt in life.
