Summary
Just like every child in Fódlan, Felix knows how the story goes.
A long time ago, Fódlan was rife with magic. The six races all lived in harmony, helping each other with the magic unique to their species until some humans got greedy and started twisting the magic to be entirely theirs. The non-human races were unable to deal with the dark magic and either died or became twisted, turning their anger toward the remaining humans. Felix understands their anger, but as a human, he also can't let them just prey on the innocent. The Blue Lions are one of the most successful pods he knows around, and one of the only three that can successfully slay a hell beast.
But even the Blue Lions, the Golden Deer, and the Black Eagles combined can't protect the entire continent from a hell beast attack every day.
