Hollywood Relationship Drama Exposed

Do you ever wonder what Hollywood actors are like behind the scenes? What it would be like to hear their secrets as their publicist? Exposure provides that fun, titillating peek into that fictional world.

Kyle and Michelle are a power couple in the movie industry. They've been married eight years. Both have starred in blockbuster films, but Kyle's career has recently exploded. Growing right along with his fame is his ego. The actor's a total narcissist, and Michelle's not sure she can stay married to his egomania.

Shaunna is the publicist for Kyle and Michelle. She comes from Hollywood royalty but is more grounded than most in Tinseltown.

Kyle and Michelle start to shoot a big-budget sci-fi film that also stars a lesser known actor, David. Shaunna has the hots for David, and David thinks she's pretty cute, too. Here David joins Shaunna in the hotel pool:

David strolled to one of many empty lounge chairs and set his towel down. In doing so, he revealed the previously covered portions of his torso, and Shaunna watched his tight back muscles stretch harmoniously. When he turned around, she made certain she wasn't obviously staring at him, but she also wasn't about to miss the big reveal.

She wasn't disappointed.

David was toned, but not muscle-bound. He possessed a California tan which the Texas sun had only encouraged.

He didn't strut around like other guys who had bodies like his, and she didn't think she would catch him looking down at his own biceps. He just looked heathy and happy. She liked happy.

David later compares himself to George McFly because he's non-confrontational. Sounds like my kind of guy!

While Shaunna and David grow closer, Kyle and Michelle break apart. Good riddance for Michelle to try to free herself from Jerkwad. But Kyle won't let her go easily. The twists of their divorce in the midst of big money and big media provide some interesting reading.

There's wonderful characterization in this story. Michelle, Shaunna, and David come across as truly kind individuals. Shaunna has an addiction to Disneyland which she shares with David. And the film's director Nathan is endearingly quirky. He has a collection of "iconic" cars from movies, including a royal blue El Camino from The Mexican, the London hackney cab from 28 Days Later, and the 1927 Buick from Road to Perdition.

Major props for mentioning the band Erasure when they go to a gay bar!

Because this is a debut novel, there's too much telling instead of showing, and adverbs are overused in my opinion. But this is a fun story and I definitely recommend it.

I loved, loved, loved this book. It’s not my usual type of read, however I was swept up in the synopsis and was quickly hooked after the first few chapters. The deceitful world of celebrity and fame was brilliantly portrayed in this book – I actually felt like I was watching a movie all the way through. Who among us isn’t guilty of being interested in the comings and goings of the rich and famous? I definitely like to keep myself “in the know” – so Exposure was the perfect book to feed that addiction. Based around the set of a movie, we are given an inside look not only at the life of an actor, but at that of the publicity side of the business as well. That is what surprisingly kept my interest, as PR reps, managers are not usually the ones in the spotlight. The intricate plot weaved through many characters lives, and I enjoyed how the story flowed smoothly.

Shaunna Noble is a publicist at the top of her game. Her two biggest clients are set to star in a new movie, and being a married couple – they are the darlings of the industry. But if there’s one thing we know about the entertainment industry , its that all is not what it seems on the surface. And Kyle Petersen and his slimy ways are living proof of that. Desperate to hang his star a little higher, he engineers a very public divorce from his wife – one set to ruin her career and skyrocket his. Outraged at his behaviour, Shaunna stands against him, thus inciting an all out war. Michelle Cooper , Kyle’s wife is a kind woman – undeserving of Kyle’s wrath and Shaunna vows to ensure he fails at his attempts to ruin her. Right off the bat, the action and the intriguing suspense were set, the book promising to be an exciting read.

David Quinn has given up on his acting career. With one last part in an upcoming movie, he will make just enough to return home and resume a normal life. Thrust into the middle of a scandal on set, the last thing he is expecting is to find an attraction to the very delectable Shaunna Noble. Couple that with the chance to resurrect his failing acting career and the plot thickens even more. What I loved about his character was his down to earth ways, his sense of loyalty. It was refreshing to see that the Hollywood lifestyle had not changed him for the worse. Experiencing his romance with Shaunna blossom was both heartwarming and electric as their chemistry was apparent from their first encounter.

This story flows between multiple characters – you would think this would be confusing, however it moves seamlessly and the alternating POV’s added to the book, in my opinion. I enjoyed knowing the director’s thoughts, as well as the thoughts of the despicable Kyle. He really is quite the villain….will he succeed in his plans to ruin the lives of the ones that “betrayed” him?

I adored this book. The plot and the characters were engaging, fresh and unique. These two authors have made a fan of me and I would definitely recommend this book to romance lovers. If you are looking for something a little outside of the box with enough punch to keep you hooked – Exposure is just the place to start.

Exposure is the first book I’ve read by authors Morgan and Jennifer Locklear. Based on the book’s blurb, I was a little reticent, because I feared it had the potential to evolve into a triangle scenario – something I avoid at all costs. However, living in Los Angeles and being fascinated by the movie industry and all of its trappings, I couldn’t resist taking a chance. What I got pleasantly surprised me. Exposure is a wonderfully written romance with a unique storyline, and just enough plot and sub-plot to engage me the whole way through.

All eyes are on Michelle Cooper and Kyle Peterson, Hollywood’s golden couple, as they prepare to begin filming a much-anticipated blockbuster movie together. Michelle could have never predicted that just as filming would get underway, Kyle would have her served with divorce papers – a move he’d been planning, by the way, for some time. What ensues is a series of emotionally charged situations involving producers, directors, publicists, and co-stars (not to mention Michelle), with Kyle at the center behaving like the stereotypical self-entitled arrogant Hollywood star.

Exposure gives us plenty of characters, both to love and to hate. Kyle is that character I hoped would reap his just desserts, but then, admittedly, there was a side of me that held out hope that he’d come around and eventually regret his many ill-timed tantrums. Michelle could be billed as the rejected wife, but what she really should be heralded for is her ability to carry herself with poise and propriety, despite Kyle’s repeated attempts to tarnish both her reputation and her career, while portraying himself as victim.

Shaunna and David are adorable; it’s obvious from the very beginning that there’s something special about them. Being a couple in Hollywood is stressful under the best of circumstances, and a lesser pair may have buckled under the pressure. I loved the interactions between these two, their commitment to each other, and their ability to handle the strain with maturity, dignity and respect. I couldn’t help but pull for them.

Exposure is not a fast-paced read. Rather, it’s a carefully and well-constructed story about Hollywood royalty and all that that implies. It is accurate and precise in its accounts of the world of both the big and small screen, the movie making process, and the daily challenges undoubtedly faced by the movers and shakers of that industry. It was a delightful story with plenty of plot twists to keep me turning pages.

4 enjoyable stars.

4 1/2 stars!

It's hard to believe that Exposure is the debut novel by Morgan & Jennifer Locklear. I absolutely love stories about Hollywood and the movie industry, so I was completely drawn into this book from the very beginning. It's filled with enormous Hollywood egos, tabloid drama, lots of sex and lots and lots of humor. Do you love a look at the inner workings of a movie set and all the behind-the-scenes drama? Then Exposure is for you. It's a fairly light, quick read, but the writers don't skimp on plot or character development. This is a fantastic debut book and I can't wait to read more from this writing duo.

I loved the POV's from the all the main characters. I fell in love with David, he is totally swoon worthy, and what? He's actually a NICE guy? Amazing!! Shauna is a brilliant and feisty publicist, and her chemistry with David is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. There is enough steam in Exposure to satisfy readers of contemporary romance but this is a great, character-driven story so all the scenes feel natural and nothing is ever forced or rushed.

If you are looking for a fresh, well-written story, with characters that you will actually care about and a story that you will remember long after you finish the book, then I highly recommend Exposure.

Exposure, by Morgan & Jennifer Locklear, is a sweet, entertaining, love story, set against the backdrop of the everyday reality of shenanigans and backstabbing in the movie industry.

The story leads are Shaunna Noble: a top Hollywood publicist, and David Quinn: an actor whose star is shooting for outer space. Talking of outer space, that’s the setting for the blockbuster movie that bring our cast of characters together, pardon the pun. We discover that sometimes there is a much acting going on off set, as there is while the cameras are rolling. And, fans, the media, the stars, and their publicists, spin the truth so fast, it’s hard to know who is leading whom on.

David is sexy, romantic, and humble, a delicious combination in a man, while the lady he sets his cap to is Shaunna: feisty, on the shy side, and clever. Their getting-to-know-you phase is unconventional, to say the least, and it, combined with the sizzling passion, witty dialogue, and crazy Hollywood life, will keep you turning those pages.

Exposure is the perfect summer read!

A solid debut novel by this married couple! This is a love story surrounded by the craziness that is Hollywood and all that it entails. It's funny, witty, sweet, smart, romantic and a has also bit of suspense! Great characters and a strong female lead which are always a plus in my opinion! Evidently the male lead is smart, sexy, humble, romantic and very delicious!
It was a quick read and one that was quite enjoyable. A perfect summer book!
Looking forward to more collaborative work from Mr and Mrs Locklear.

3 1/2 stars and recommendation for contemporary romance genre.
The story line is well developed and characters are all likable ( or unlikable as it were). Set in the entertainment world, it's easy enough to imagine the characters and their actions. Good love story without too much angst and you will root for a HEA for all the deserving characters.
It's a great book for a book club that aims to please a variety of members~ think it would meet criteria for many age ranges and for the faint of heart.

Everything about this book is nice. Except for the Douchenugget ex, all the characters are just nice and just boring. As a reader, I needed more. Much more excitement, more differences in the characters personalities, more earth shattering exciting to read sex scenes, and making the reader work much harder at predicting what will happen next. 2 1/2 stars.

I love when a story is entertaining without over the top shenanigans.

That's exactly what you get with Exposure.

The authors give you are story with an amazing flow, great characterizations, really solid secondary characters helping to drive the story, and a story line in itself ripped from today's Hollywood headlines.

There was a good old fashioned romance, backstabbing, hurt, betrayal, humor, characters to fall in love with, a character to hate with a blinding passion and a tad bit of trepidation to balance out a completely well written story from start to finish.

And the dialogue! The banter between the characters made the story an absolute page turner. You weren't bogged down with words, the dialogue was crisp, clean, flowed, and just gave you the believable feel of sitting on the set watching the antics go on right before your very eyes. Lot's of color and texture swirling about and brought to life.

A true "tell me a story kind of story" without the typical over the top drama, smexy scenes without the proverbial anatomy lessons, characters you actually believed could exist with none of the head scratching.

Exposure is the story of Shaunna and David. A romantic story set in the middle of a Hollywood filming with A-list stars, a spoiled, egotistical, mean, selfish actor, his sweet talented wife, a thoroughly amusing and eccentric director, all combined to make our hero and heroines romance a huge struggle.

Shaunna is a publicist for the egomaniac Kyle. He is just the worst kind of human being ever! There is not one nice thing I can say about him!! Then there is his wife, Michelle who Shaunna also works for. A talented actress who is on the opposite side of the spectrum of Kyle when it comes to being an actual human being.

At the start of the filing, Kyle decides to drop a huge bomb on Michelle, a very nasty and public bomb. Shaunna is forced to deal with the fodder and fall out as well as chose sides. She of course sides with Michelle which infuriates Kyle who now makes it his life's goal to destroy Shaunna.

The we have David. A kind and caring actor down on his luck who after this role, is going home throwing in the towel on his going nowhere career. David is the epitome of the book boyfriend. A nice guy, kind, considerate, goes out of his way to do the right thing, a touch of naughtiness, smexy, sexy, and dialogue you just swoon over.

Shaunna and David are instantly attracted to one another but it's not that simple. They both get caught up in the Kyle diabolical, a padded gossip story linking stars erroneously, mistakes, an arrest, the bob and weave from the press, and of course, their own white hot flaming passion.

The story just intertwines so many threads to make for a well rounded plot fit for any Hollywood lifetime movie. All of this while watching a budding romance, finding ones true self, strength and perseverance with the will to overcome and be happy.

And the ending...a true what goes around comes around finish!! You really need to read Exposure.

Such a good story!!!

A fantastic and fun read from start to finish. An amazing debut for the Locklear's.

Hollywood has a way of showing its stars as living the high life of glitz and glamour, but that isn’t always the case behind closed doors. Exposure showcases the ups and downs of living in the spotlight. One of Hollywood’s up and coming it couples, Kyle Peterson and Michelle Cooper may have a picture perfect major in the eyes of the world. But, when the cameras turn off, Kyle’s an abusive, narcissistic asshole who has to be in control when it comes to his wife and even his publicist Shaunna. Michelle has been teetered on leaving him. But, Kyle’s planet sized ego will not let her beat him to the punch and files for divorce while they are on-set of a movie together. Kyle’s behavior leads to Shaunna seeking revenge on her dickhead boss and another fellow actor on the set, David, coming to both Shaunna and Michelle’s rescue. Who’d have thought that Hollywood isn’t exactly the pillow of perfection and beauty?

I absolutely fell in love with this story. Far outside my usual genre of all the things that go bump in the night, I couldn’t have been happy to take a walk on a new side. This doesn’t read like a debut novel at all by the Locklears. It’s so well written and plotted that you would have thought this was from a well-seasoned author. The character development is fantastic. I also loved the multiple POVs from all 4 major characters because you were given a chance as a reader to really dive into their internal thought process. This is a fresh, fast paced story that will leave you very satisfied. The steam and the suspense are perfectly balanced. This story is one that you will never be able to forget and will want to re-read in the future.

Exposure is the first book of Morgan & Jennifer Locklear and I really liked it. I won a signed paperback edition of the book on a giveaway and was so happy about it!
It's always so great to discover new authors and I can guarantee that Exposure didn't disappoint!
This book was a GREAT read!
I liked the main characters a lot - especially Michelle and Shaunna because they're so strong and independent women! And you really have to be like that in the film business.µ
The hottest man in the book is definitely David! He's sooooo handsome and charming - just wonderful! :D
Another good thing about this book is that you've a bad guy too.
So be prepared! Kyle is so evil and ugh... I just don't like him BUT that's good because I think you should always have a person in a book you can hate or be scared of or something like that.

All in all Exposure is a great book full of humour, steamy romance and a lot of drama! :)

I'm looking forward to more books of Morgan & Jennifer in the future! ;)

**Full review***

In the entertainment world, a lot of people move and act like sharks. Every so often, it’s nice to see someone get speared like the great white beast in “Jaws,” especially when you’ve been waiting a while for that to happen.

That’s an especially apt analogy for EXPOSURE, Jennifer and Morgan Locklear’s new novel about love, hate and revenge in the world known informally as Hollywood. The best part: it’s a comedy, and you get plenty of laughs throughout the story. And the character whose career gets gutted like a flounder? He deserves it.

That would be Kyle Peterson, a popular film actor whose star doesn’t shine nearly as bright as he thinks it does. In fact, “bright” isn’t a word anyone would associate with him, unless it has to do with his lovely and talented actress wife, Michelle. The book opens with a passionate scene between the two of them, but what Michelle doesn’t know is that Kyle intends it to be their last one.

They’ll be working on a new film together, and already Michelle is worried about how their disintegrating relationship will affect their performances. She’s a professional, and a very gifted actress whose skills have often been overshadowed by Kyle’s ego. Finally, with this movie, her talent shines brightly, and it’s no coincidence that this happens as her soon-to-be-ex husband’s career is flaming out.

Among Kyle’s blinds spots: he’s completely unaware of how many times his ass has been saved by Michelle and their PR consultant, Shaunna Noble. A child of the industry whose father is a powerful producer, Shaunna knows the ropes. She’s savvy, ethical, honest and lovely, and has pulled Kyle from the brink of destruction more than once, even though he’d never admit it.

But even Shaunna has her limits. When Kyle’s toddler-like tantrums and misbehavior push her too far, she strikes back in a way that’s completely uncharacteristic of her. Shaunna’s actions set in motion a series of events that at first give Kyle the upper hand, but then provide a way for Michelle to gain some excellent leverage in her divorce from the increasingly desperate Kyle. All the while, Shaunna protects and nurtures her growing relationship with an up-and-coming young actor named David Quinn, who also happens to be Michelle and Kyle’s co-star.

Shaunna’s lovely romance with the enormously appealing David provides the counterpoint to the sour and dissipating relationship between Michelle and Kyle. But the Locklears keep the humor in the acting couples’ difficulties; they inspire the reader to laugh at Kyle’s egotistical foibles while cheering on Michelle, Shaunna, David, and anyone else who has the clear good sense to see Kyle for who he is.

The reader is among those. The Locklears have drawn strong, well-defined characters who are far above the caricatures often associated with any satire relate to the entertainment industry. You may not like Kyle very much but you won’t entirely dislike him; you’ll feel sorry for him by the end, especially once you see what the Locklears have in store for him through their plot. Let’s just say that he loses a lot.

David is a wonderful character; kind, smart and funny without being so overdrawn as to make him unbelievable. He’s a perfect match for Shaunna, and that’s sayin’ somethin’, because by the time you’ve read through half of EXPOSURE, you’ll be convinced that she only deserves the best.

There’s so much to like about EXPOSURE: the plot, the great characters, the humor that constantly infuses the story; and the Locklears’ writing style. But I think my very favorite aspect of the book is the strong female characters. Bad things happen to them, but they are never victims; they figure things out, they move ahead, they do what has to be done in order to get out from under whatever is holding them down. And that’s a real joy to read.

Don’t miss out on the fun. EXPOSURE is a great ride, a hilarious adventure, a warm and witty character study of the egos and eccentrics who make the movies and television shows we love to watch. I’d swear I was looking behind the scenes if I didn’t know that Morgan and Jennifer Locklear wrote this as fiction. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

**Received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review
I, surprisingly, really enjoyed this book. It took me longer than usual to read, but that only meant that I could fully understand the issues at hand at the characters in play.

I like how this story doesn’t revolve around 1 or 2 characters, and the two writers made the P.O.V. change very clear, concise, and flowed right. However, if I were to pick a main character, it would be Shaunna. I loved Shaunna. She is a strong character and she doesn’t take anyone’s bullshit, especially when Kyle files divorce papers to his sweet ex-wife Michelle. Shaunna has a thing for David. While, he too, harbours romantic feelings for Shaunna, he is placed in a situation temporary where the two cannot be together and instead, he is playing the role of Michelle’s newest boyfriend. It’s complicated, but that’s how Hollywood stars are right?

This novel wasn’t romanced based, which makes sense because it is not the main genre at stake here. Mind you, the chemistry between Shaunna and David was amazing especially when he proposes to her at freaking DISNEYLAND! I thought that was the sweetest thing ever because Shaunna does go there during her spare time.

Back to point, there are some things I realized while reading this book, and I had to grab a pad of paper to take down notes. I’m pretty sure this applies to the real world, but the relationship between the media and fans with the respected actors, directors, and any other public figures have a very tense one. By that I mean it’s very unpredictable. The media could either hate you or love you. It is evident the struggles Shaunna faces as a publicist. Not only did her outburst with Kyle land her in jail, but her relationship is put on hold with David. David, too, is distraught that he can’t do anything about his attraction (momentary) and has to go along with the ride.

I like how this novel gives you insight of how complicated being in the lime-light is. Even if you don’t care about the media, somehow they always manage to make you care.

Why not 5 stars? Well I’m a hardcore romance fan, and there wasn’t really much in this book. But like I said before, this is not meant to be a fast read and romance is not the highlight of this novel. I mostly liked this book because there is a deeper meaning behind it, and there’s nothing more than reading a book that makes me think that I love the most.

Shaunna is one heck of a publicist and let’s face it, in Hollywood sometimes you have to be cut-throat. Her client Kyle is such…there are words I want to use but my mother reads these reviews, so I will just say he is a big huge JERK. Now, Shaunna’s other client Michelle happens to be Kyle’s wife and let’s just say that this woman has to be Mother Teresa’s twin to be able to deal with a man like Kyle.
Then you have David Quinn and he is so cute and sexy that you just can’t help but stare at him. He is an actor that has had his bad luck with finding films, well that is until Nathan and Gus get him.
While reading Exposure, I already hated Kyle after reading just a few chapters. And yes in the fashion of me, I did message Jennifer and tell her that I was not a fan of him. But then something happened and I actually ended up feeling sorry for him, which unfortunately only lasted about a minute.
So now you know my least favorite character here is my favorite. Now I really liked Shaunna but I think Michelle is truly my favorite character out of this book. I just love how she is with everyone. All she cares about is others even while her husband is doing everything he can to destroy her emotionally.
I enjoyed Exposure. There is a lot of humor, romance, comedy, sexy movie stars, hot sex, sexy cars, and movie references within its covers. And I will not lie; I did have to look some of them up. Yes, I even Google’d a few of them too. I absolutely loved the ending and I am so glad that the villain of this story got everything that he deserved; reading that put a huge smile on my face.
Jennifer and Morgan Locklear, you two did an outstanding job with this book. I couldn’t get enough of all the characters. Thank you for writing it. You completely nailed it!

Egos, drama, divorce, movie set, lights, camera.....action!!

When I read, I read for pure enjoyment. A storyline that I get caught up in and characters to either love, want to be friends with, I'm glad I met them, or I could do without. Lately, I've been hooked on the bad boys, rockers, CEOs, lawyers, etc. and this book provided me with a great change up. Now I have had a taste of actors, publicists, lawyers and the film industry.

Come and step into the shoes of Shaunna Noble, a publicist for the stars and get a taste of what their jobs are really like. It's not all it's cracked up to be or what we see from the outside. Shaunna is a behind the scenes type of girl and always has been. But the one time she snaps......it's caught on film and she's in the spotlight. She's smart, well liked, pretty and she's damn good at her job. I crossed my fingers, hoping for a relationship to develop with David, one of the actors on the movie set. He's genuine, honest and needs a woman that doesn't just want to be with him for the fame. I also couldn't wait to see how Kyle Peterson and Michelle Cooper, everyone's favorite celebrity couple fare their own personal drama. The characters and sub characters seemed real to me and the storyline was well developed.

Get behind the scenes of a movie set, find out what goes on long after the final scene is shot and what happens before the red carpet premiere.

An engaging story that flowed nicely and delivered satisfaction on a silver platter to me. I look forward to reading more from this couple.

I loved this book! This was different from any story I have read before and I really enjoyed it!

Exposure is a story about 3 actors and how their lives are thrust further into the spotlight based on one picture. We are getting actors points of view but also seeing the media take on it. The media take is completely out of context but we are able to see why they were able to come to the conclusions they did. We also got to see how the actors influenced what the media saw/reported.

This was so fascinating to me! I know that the media puts a spin on things but this really gave the reader perspective on how bad/different it can be.

On top of this captivating viewpoint, there is also an amazing story about these three actors and a publicist who is trying to keep a low profile for herself while helping her clients to be seen in the best light.

The story explodes when the media catches one moment and makes up their own story to go with it. Seeing both sides (the actors and the media) brings a whole new level of depth to this story.

The story was very well written as it has some complex plots that could have been easy to get lost in but the authors kept the story flowing and believable. I definitely recommend this book as it grabs your attention from page one and holds it throughout the story. The are many paths this story could have taken so the reader is unable to see what will happen next and the suspense as to how this will end stays with you throughout the story!

I was on Facebook 6/6/14 and came across for a posting for Exposure by Jennifer and Morgan Locklear so I clicked on it and it took me to amazon I read the preview and just knew I had to buy it. I”m so glad that I did. I feel bad that i never actually a proper review but I did give it 5 stars and I still stand by that.

You will fall in love with all the characters except for Kyle…LOL…when you read the story you’ll understand why I specially love Shaunna and David she is sweet, successful, spunky loves Disney land and he is hot..LOL.

I could not put this book down and the only reason it took me two days to finish is because I had to work the next day! I love the old Hollywood and the Film industry that is what drew me to this story line. This was a great read I laughed out loud while reading it and I was sad when the story ended.

If you have not yet read this, you need to put this on your must read list.

Jennifer and Morgan I apologize it took me so long to write this review and I still don’t think I did your book justice. I hope you already know this but I am a big fan. I found you because of the Gabriel series and I am so glad because of you and SR I have so many new books and authors, just a lot of new experiences and chances taken, I cant wait to read the next big thing from you both.

Thanks again

4 shiny stars to Morgan and Jennifer on their debut novel!
A wonderful summer read that will stay with you, both for the storyline and for its beautiful writing style.

Exposure goes into the depths of Hollywood royalty with all its intrigue and politics, but in a light and endearing way. The main characters are strong with a great personality to them, and they're supported with equally charming secondary characters -- Hollywood's princess, the villain that everybody loves to hate, the strong minded director, the smooth-talking lawyer and many more that make some of the most witty and smart dialogues.
I won't elaborate on the storyline because I'd be repeating the synopsis, but I will tease and say that whatever you read in the tabloids when visiting the dentist or waiting at the checkout counter at the grocery store -- think twice, three and even four or five times whether any of that is true and if so what's the motivation behind it.. The Locklears capture that essence in wonderful detail.

In addition, the writing style is just a joy to read. I've had to pleasure and honor to personally meet the Locklears and it's so wonderful to see both their personalities shine through in their writing - humor and sarcasm combined with eloquent, flowing phrases and description - which just adds to the overall reading experience.

Read this book. It's a fun ride!

My Golden Reads Review of Exposure

This is a debut novel by married couple Morgan & Jennifer Locklear. It’s a fun story that takes place in the entertainment industry. Expect backstabbing, drama, egos, and of course hot sex! You get a real backstage view of all that goes on, in the movie-making world. You quickly learn that what you see in pictures or tabloids is most likely not real, if you didn’t already know that.

The one thing I didn’t like was the point of view from all the characters. It took me awhile to get a handle on all of them. Although there are many characters, the main ones are David an up and coming actor, and Shaunna, a Hollywood publicist. You’ll see what it’s like to be in a relationship with the media watching your every move.

You’ll definitely like this book if you’re looking for a fun, short read.

This story has it all, everything from love to revenge! I personally found this to be a nice relaxing but engaging read, it's not too heavy but it was still able to hold my attention. The characters are very realistic and the issues they face even more so! Exposure gives you a look at the movie industry from the other side, not what the papers are showing but what is actually happening, it had me wondering how many of the stories in the media that I've read were just false perceptions and more importantly what the real story behind it was. With the characters you have the ones you love and then the ones you love to hate! Kyle is definitely without a doubt my love to hate character and I don't think I'm the only one who feels that way. And David is just something else... He has a playful side and he has a knack of bringing out the best in the others, with the exception of Kyle of course! I loved the storyline! It had me captivated, I couldn't put it down and when it was over I was begging for more!

This was the first novel that I have read written by Morgan and Jennifer Locklear, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The writing was impeccable and flowed effortlessly. I found myself instantly caught up in the drama that unfolded with every turn of the page and was hooked until the end. There are so many characters to love (and hate), but David and Shaunna are at the forefront - they are so cute together. They kind of had this ‘instant love’ thing going on that might bother some readers, but I thought it was adorable. The chemistry between the two is HOT! Overall, this was a brilliantly intriguing read that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. - See more at: The Avid Book Collector
