DNF. Read until 58%.

I don't know if it's knowing that this is a fanfic** or it's just that Bryn shares some really annoying Bella qualities.

At the beginning of the book, I had the impression that she was badly hurt because of what happened four years ago and when I read what happened, I have to say that she had some right to be bitter about Charlotte and Tyler. When she returned to Savannah and saw Jason in that grocery store, I got the vibe that she was really wary about reconnecting with the people from her past and I totally understood why. What I didn't understand was how fast she changed from being in doubt then making pancakes for everyone the next day. All it took was a night of partying and Tyler taking care of her because she's so lightweight but still stupid enough to drink more than she could handle. She even acts like nothing happened between her and Tyler. Then when they're having a good time and acts lovey dovey towards each other, she pulls out and gets angry. Then after Tyler begging her to understand, only telling her that he needs time to tell her, she's suddenly okay with it. MAKE UP YOUR MIND, WOMAN! Same thing with how she acts around Charlotte, Jason and Eva. One moment, she's so close to them then next, she's having an internal monologue about not ready to trust again.

And then there's Tyler and Charlotte. I really had nothing against him except how he can be so callous in bringing back memories like nothing ever happened, like he didn't break Bryn's heart. Charlotte acts like they haven't left without any explanation and enjoys bonding with Bryn.

This probably worked out for some readers. Maybe some even sympathized with the characters but all that Bryn does to me is annoy me. I can't even feel something when she lost her father. It's probably how it's written. For me it's more of a tell rather than show or making the readers feel.

I was expecting a Bryn with trust issues after what she went through. Someone who needs time to heal. Someone who wants her friends back in her life but is afraid to let them. Reading this seems like reading different character on every page that share the same name.

Alexandria was nice enough to let me read an advanced copy of "More Than You Know" and all I can say is this story will definitely move you. In every way possible. You will be laughing with the characters. Crying with the characters. And everything in between.

The storyline is so exclusive with hints scattered throughout that will keep you guessing the truth that will eventually be uncovered. A secret unknown to everyone.

Bryn and Tyler are unique characters that are clearly meant for each other. Even after tough times and time spent apart they somehow always come back to each other. Also the description of the scenery in this novel is absolutely breathtaking. It's almost as though you can feel the breeze of the Georgia sea blow across your face.

Anyone on the fence about this book should definitely give it a shot. It will teach you to love unconditionally, that everyone deserves a second chance, and even though you think you lost someone, they are never truly gone.

I cannot stop thinking about this book! I swear, the night before I finished reading it, I had a dream about it. The characters were absolutely amazing, the story was addictive, and the relationships were adorable. I ‘felt’ everything that was happening, and I wanted to be the people in it!

This book had a bit of a slow start to it, keeping everything in complete frustrating mystery as to why Tyler left in a clear TWILIGHT – NEW MOON moment four years previously. Still both having strong feelings for each other, the first half of the book focuses on Tyler and Bryn, as the pair are slowly working on their relationship with something clearly unsaid between them. Then I hit half way through the book, and BOOM, it suddenly became addictive! It was like the slow pace of the beginning was allowing me time to get to know the characters, so that when the more dramatic things happened, I cared about them as if they were real, and they were my own friends!

I really liked Bryn as a character, and found her to be so sweet and genuine. At the beginning of the book, when she first starts talking to Charlotte and Tyler again after them leaving her four years previous, I was so frustrated, and annoyed that she would let them back in so easily without an explanation. I wanted her to be mad, and make them work for her friendship again, however, saying that, at the same time, I kind of admired her trust in them, as she gave Tyler the time he needed to tell her the truth about everything.

Tyler! *sigh* <3 Being completely, the ‘nice guy’ in this story, he is not the kind of ‘book boyfriend’ that I would normally go for, but holy wow he was insanely adorable. He loved Bryn so much and didn’t try to hide it, constantly touching her, or doing something small in order to show her just how much. He was pretty insecure at some points in this book, due to the things that he had been though in the past, and was still dealing with, but this only made him more endearing to me as he came across as just so genuine and lovely, and handsome, and sweet, and romantic and *swoon*…sorry I’m getting carried away…

“…I want all of you. For forever and a day. Times infinity, plus two….”

The relationship between Tyler and Bryn was one of my favorite things about this book. All the way through I could really ‘feel’ the relationship they had, and how they were meant to be together. It was almost as if their love for each other was unconditional, and no matter what, they were always going to be together.

“Home is where you are. In so many ways I need you. You make me a better person whenever you’re next to me.”

When the situation with Tyler comes to a head, and he is finally forced to tell her why he left four years ago, I was practically hyperventilating. I felt as though I had jumped out of my own body and in to Bryn’s as I could ‘feel’ how scared and confused she was, as everyone around her knows what’s going on, and she, and you as the reader have no idea. I really felt for her at this moment, as she loved Tyler more than anything, and as she had no family, he was everything to her ~ I can’t imagine feeling like the person I love, the only person I have left, might be being taken away from me, and having no idea why! It made me cry when he finally told her the truth, as on one hand it was such a relief to finally know it, but on the other hand, a little heart breaking!

“I’m so sorry for the pain that I’ve caused you. For the hole that’s been left in your heart ever since I left you. But if you’ll let me, I’ll spend the rest of our lives fixing it.”

The characters were another thing about this book that I LOVED! As the story centers around Tyler and Charlotte, it also features their best friends, and their relationships. Charlotte, Miles, Eva, Jay, and Ashton, all made this book for me, as along with Tyler and Bryn, they were like a little family. I loved how they experienced all the good, and bad of life together, and helped each other through it, as they all truly are best friends!

There was just something about this book that spoke to me. I can’t put my finger on what it exactly it is that made me like it so much, it just felt different than other books like it. The tone, and plot of the story completely captured me as I was seeing Bryn’s story through her eyes (along with some of Tylers POV), and feeling the emotions that she was feeling. The only reason I’m not giving this book the full 5 stars is due to the slow start, however, apart from that, I found it amazing and would HIGHLY recommend it!

4.25 stars!

“More Than You Know” by Alexandria Rhodes
I received this book (an ARC) from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I really, really liked this book! I would absolutely recommend it to my fellow readers...especially those who are fans of the New Adult/Young Adult Contemporary Romance genre. I give “More Than You Know” 4.5 Stars out of 5, and I would definitely read more of Alexandria Rhode’s books.

What a ride! I enjoyed everything about this book, from the beginning to the end. Alexandria Rhodes pulled me in with her magnificent characters, and kept me in with her great story-telling skills. The plot and conflict were amazing. I love when I am reading a book, and every time I start to get comfortable with the story...BAM!!! I love being like, “Whoa, that was a surprise! No way did I see that coming!” I can honestly say that I was surprised like this in “More Than You Know.”

I don’t want to give anything away about this book, so you should definitely check out the synopsis if you want to really know what it is about. But, I will briefly say that Bryn is going through a very hard time, the hardest time of her life, and right when she needs a friend and someone to talk to...the only people left who she really cares about just left. No explanations, at all. Bryn ends up going off on her own to try and start over. She wants to have a new life to help her live through all the pain and confusion. When circumstances cause her to move back to her home, Bryn will be forced to deal with her past, and hopefully gain some answers that she was always looking for.

I liked Bryn from the start. This poor young girl has been through so much heart break, betrayal, and drama. Everything bad was just happening to her one after another. I just wanted to make everything all better for her, and I thought she deserved to be happy. As for Tyler, I felt for him even in the beginning. I could tell that he cared for Bryn so much, and right at that point I knew they were meant for each other. Even if it was going to be a fight to get to the point of being together.

So like I said, I would definitely recommend this book. “More Than You Know” by Alexandria Rhodes is the perfect story for someone looking for a NA Romance laced with pain, confusion, betrayal, forgiveness, angst, and true love. Make sure you read this book to follow Bryn and Tyler’s story and see everything that unfolds between the two of them - good and bad.

More Than You Know is a fantastic read and I loved the writing style of Alexandria Rhodes. As this is Ms Rhodes debut, I will be adding her now to my must read list. More Than You Know is tragic and so heart wrenching and I instantly felt sorry for Bryn and secretly hoped she would kicked Tyler in the giggle-berries.

Bryn, Charlotte and Tyler (Charlotte and Tyler are siblings) had been best friends forever and lived inside each other’s pockets. The natural progression was to become Tyler’s girlfriend and they were together for almost three years. One horrible day when Bryn was 18, she received a text from Tyler, “we need to talk”. As we all know, this message is never a good sign and it didn’t end well for Bryn either.

Bryn was devastated that Tyler could treat her so coldly and end things so abruptly without any indication that he didn’t love her any more. With contact being severed with Charlotte as well as Tyler, Bryn didn’t have anybody to turn to.

Within a couple of weeks of Tyler leaving town and Bryn, there was a horrible car accident and Bryn’s Dad didn’t survive. Since Bryn’s Mother wasn’t in the picture, she was left orphaned and shattered.

Deciding to start her life anew, she moves to New York and starts University there. Going along with her life, Bryn isn’t able to have another relationship as she is still hung up and destroyed by Tyler. Skip ahead four years now and Bryn is graduating from NYU and heading home. Not wanting to sell her family home that she lived in with her Dad all her life, Bryn is going home to start her life again.

One thing she didn’t realise was that Tyler and Charlotte had moved back also and all of their memories and love Bryn held onto, comes flooding back. Can Bryn forgive Charlotte and Tyler? Should Bryn forgive Tyler and Charlotte? What really happened four years ago and will Bryn get an explanation finally?

This book was great and I loved the twists and turns along the way. With everything needed to fulfil a great read, More Than You Know should be added to your TBR list. Tyler and Bryn have everlasting love and I was intrigued to find out what really happened and all of the events that leads up to Bryn’s return home. With a bit of language, this New Adult read has a fabulous ending and I can’t wait to pick up another book by Ms Rhodes.

More Than You Know is a rare gem of a book. I am so glad the book went on tour because I would have never heard of this book and that is just a tragedy because Alexandria is a great writer and the story she brings has so much to it. She brings loss, love and redemption. I read this book in six hours because I could not put it down. I was so into Bryn and Tyler's world that at the end I cried because it is such a heart wrenching story.

Bryn Woods has it all. She has her father and her boyfriend and friends. She is about to go to college in New York and fulfill her dreams until one day everything is shattered. Her father is killed in a horrible accident. Bryn is completely devastated and to add hot coals to the already blazing fire her boyfriend Tyler disappears from her life when she needs him most. Shocked and not having anything else to do she moves to New York and goes to college. For four years she has kept her heart closed off and not letting anyone get close to her because she still feels the pain of losing the two people that meant the world to her.

It is four years later and Bryn returns to her family home to build a new life. Fresh out of college with a degree she is willing to start over again. Just as she is getting settled in she sees Tyler again. She has nothing to say to the guy who broke her heart and stomped on it but Tyler wants to talk to her he wants to explain what went on. But the thing is Tyler is keeping secrets and secrets from his past will come to the forefront and he will have to tell Bryn the truth. He knows something about her fathers accident and she is about to find out the truth as well. But Bryn and Tyler will also find out secrets Tyler never knew either so together they will have to face the ugly past.

Will Bryn forgive Tyler and take him back? What will Tyler do when he finds out his secrets? This is a must read for the beach or on the train on the bus anywhere because it is a story that needs to be read!

This was a heartbreakingly sweet but emotional story about love, loss friendship, & devastation. It is about soulmates and how if it is meant to be love will find a way.

Bryn is heartbroken when the love of her life, Tyler, suddenly tells her he & his family is leaving town. She is devastated at the sudden departure and escapes to college in New York City far away from her hometown. Four years later she returns to her family home and her past that she has been trying to bury in the back of her mind.

Being back in town leads her to try to put the pieces of her life back together and back in Tyler arms. Tyler is battling is on demons and his secrets of why he left the love of his life slowly start to unravel.

I laughed, I cried, I wanted to scream which is all things a good book is suppose to do to you. The writing was smooth and flowed pretty good. The characters where very relate-able and it kept me engaged. I will be keeping an eye out for more work from Alexandria Rhodes.

Alex Rhodes - was nice enough to give me an 'advanced review copy' of 'More Than You Know"

This story hit me body and soul, not just for the sweet love story. Many times in one's life you meet your soulmate and don't realize who that person is,until something unlikely brings you back together. But I think so often deep down you may truly also know it is that person.

Bryn and Tyler had that already they needed only to have it be rekindled, Which with her decision to return to Georgia, to keep her family home and not sell it, because memories we're made there and she just can't bare the thought of it no longer being there.

The twist in the story is heart compeling, and for me hits home. I have had just this type of even in my own life, so this story has a person heart string tug to me.

I can see Ms Rhodes, will have a long career ahead of her when her first book, can hit real life, with some spice and sweetness, with out going over the top, and making it real and belivable.

I love these type of stories, but there was a lot I did not like.

The dual POV - Tyler's voice sounded the same as Bryn's. There was no difference. The author should have stuck with one POV.
Olivia is the heroine's BFF. She is the typical BFF in these types of books that always wants to party and encourages meaningless sex like that will make the heroine forget everything.
It was not until 22% or so that we see the heroine is talking to the hero. There was so much information in this story that I found myself skimming to get to the point.
After everything that the hero did (he left without a goodbye years before) and the heroine just forgives him. There was no groveling. I think there was a sorry, but I am not sure. Bryn sees Tyler and basically forgives him for everything. She pretends to be upset, but it lasted a page or two.

This is my opinion. You may feel differently. It was a great premise, but poor execution.

I really really really tried to love I did. Unfortunately, the flow was sporadic; there were a lot of inconsistencies and frustrating unnecessary incidents. The characters relationships were unrealistic, seriously who wouldn't ask questions before re-kindling a relationship that had broken your heart.

I finished this book a few days ago and had to let it gel a little before I could write the review. I had one major hang-up with the overall plot, but I thought that my feelings would soften over time. I was right. After a few days, I’m able to really reflect on the book itself and not the fact that the story parallels one of my favorite movies. If we read every book out there and watched every movie out there, most of the stories have probably already been told. But a story can be retold with new twists, turns, and nuances and through a new voice in a new way.

About the book …This is a second chance romance of pure sweetness. Bryn falls for her best friend’s older brother when she is only seven years old, and he kisses her at a New Year’s Eve party.

“Bryn, when they say one, I’m going to kiss you.” Then they yelled one and Tyler grabbed me by the shoulders and pressed his mouth to mine, both of our lips in a tight line. It was awkward yet his lips were soft and tasted sweet like sugar. I pulled away, never having closed my eyes and looked at him bewildered.

By high school, their relationship has progressed from a pony-tail-pulling puppy love to a climbing-through-the-window-in the-middle-of-the-night kind of love. As teenagers tend to do, they think they have their future together all figured out.

“Bryn,” he said “Do you know how much I love you?”…

“Yeah, I do. It’s the kind that hurts so good, right? Almost like you can’t breathe without the other person and the only thing that keeps you sane throughout the day is knowing you’ll see that person soon enough … You would do anything for them. Be anyone they need you to be. Without thinking twice, you know you will be there, no matter what. That’s what loving you is to me.”

“I want to marry you someday, Bryn.”

But, then Tyler disappears with almost no explanation … just when Bryn needs him most. Bryn must pick up the pieces of her life all by herself. While she goes through the motions of moving on, her heart never leaves Tyler behind.

Love is impatient; love is cruel. It gets your hopes up then tears them down expecting you to be okay; able to cope without that second part of you that belongs to one unique person. Love makes you believe that all the hurt you have gone through will be forgotten as soon as you find that new special person. However, what do you do when you have already found that person and he’s the one who left you? Without a moment’s notice. And they take everything you gave them, and yourself, with them in the most selfishly unselfish way possible.

The majority of the book is the story of Bryn and Tyler’s reconnection four years later. It’s about forgiveness and the secrets that we keep. It’s about letting go of the past. And, it’s about rekindling an old flame that never really went out.

Everything felt right when I was with him, no matter how hard I tried to deny it. Nothing changed. This is how we fought: passionate and hard. It was how we did everything with one another.

Overall, I really enjoyed the writing in this book. Ms. Rhodes can put the pen to paper. There were some very poignant quotes about love and self-discovery. Too many to list. Besides, half the fun is discovering them yourself. I do wish the supporting characters had been developed a little more. Much of the time, I felt like Bryn was just floundering around all by herself, but maybe that was by the Author’s design. And, I could have used a little more heat. I know if I was getting back together with someone I’d had lots of sex with in the past, I’d be hitting the sheets pretty fast. But, I’m a dirty hooker, and Bryn is not. God love her.

This book was a good, solid debut novel. A 3.5 star read for me. If I had to describe it with one word, it would be “sweet.”

After her father’s death and her painful and unexpected break up with the love of her life, Bryn Woods, needed a new start. She escapes to New York and has now returned home to Savannah, Georgia after being away for four years. She’s there to get closure and move on from the events from four years ago that broke her heart. Bryn hasn’t dated anyone or been with anyone in the four years since Tyler.
Tyler, the love of Bryn’s life and the breaker of her heart is back in Savannah as well living in his childhood home with his sister Charlotte and two of his other friends, Jason and Eva. When Tyler broke Bryn’s heart he also left Savannah that same night and has not spoken or seen Bryn since. Tyler has never stopped loving Bryn. He’s hoping with her back in town they’ll have a chance to try again.

I really love the prologue of this book. The opening with a young Tyler giving Bryn a kiss at midnight on New Years eve was so sweet. After that little cute start to the book I was ready to settle down for a sweet read and find out more about Tyler and Bryn. We catch up with Bryn and she is now 22 yrs old and about to graduate. No, Tyler around at this point and the readers quickly learn Bryn has had some heartbreak. Once the reasons are revealed why Tyler isn’t around I was hurt for Bryn. I wanted to know why Tyler and his sister Charlotte who were best friends with Bryn just left and never contacted her.

I like Bryn’s character. She was easy to love and I hurt for her. I like her and Tyler together. It was a sweet romance with lots of memories from their past to illustrate the connection that is very much still there between the two. I can feel how much they loved and still were in love with each other.

I liked Bryn and I liked Tyler. I loved them together. With their history and the love they had what threw me off in this story was how Tyler and everyone else acted like Tyler hadn’t just up and left Bryn four years ago and then shut out Bryn from their lives. It’s like “Hey Bryn” lets hang out no explanation no nothing. When Bryn asks what happens they don’t tell her. Once the secret and the reasons are revealed I was even more confused. All parties involved were very close and loved each other so why would they shut Bryn out like that. What Tyler reveals is sad but I still didn’t understand why he and Charlotte just shut Bryn out like that. With what he revealed I would thought he’d want all loved ones close. It didn’t add up for me. Also the flow of book was not smooth. Transition from one scene to another was a bit confusing. One scene would start and I thought maybe I skipped a page because I was just reading about something and then jumps onto another scene. Olivia who was Bryn’s best friend in New York moves back home with Bryn to Savannah. I thought she would have a more major role but she was introduced for bit and then gone. When she reappears later in the book, all of sudden she seems close with all the friends, which confused me since she’d never met them. So I didn’t see how they could be close since the author never showed this happening.

This was an OK read for me. I liked reading about Bryn and Tyler’s history and watching them fall back in love again. This was a sweet romance. But the pace, reasoning for abonding Bryn and confusing scene transition just left me underwhelmed.

A wonderful romantic story filled with heartbreaking moments that ultimately lead to a second chance and a twist that was beyond amazing.

Bryn lost everything in the span of a week 5 years earlier ~ The loss of her father to a devastating car accident and the loss of her long time boyfriend Tyler a week prior to well let's just say unknown reasons. She escapes her hometown of Savannah and heads to the NYC to attend college. She is two weeks away from graduating when she receives a phone call that will force her to make a decision that will ultimately lead her to face her past. I was literally....

when I read what poor Bryn had went through before she left Savannah to start over and find "home."

Tyler the boy Bryn grew up with as he was the older brother of her best friend Charlotte. The boy who decimated Bryn completely out of the blue with a text message stating they needed to talk and a meeting at a park that led to the end but no real explanation as to why it was ending. After reading this part of the story I admit I was...

But when Bryn returns to Savannah after graduating college she finds things have changed but something's are there waiting for her and she needs to decide if she can trust Tyler as well as Charlotte who she hasn't heard from for 5 years. Accompanied by her best friend and college roommate Olivia there were times I ....

There were twist and some turns in this book along with a strong potential to really be angsty if the author had decided to expand further on that. There were times were I was

by admissions as to what led to Tyler leaving Bryn. There were a few

as Bryn recalled her life with her father. There were also times where I just wanted to ..

a couple people to get them to admit what happened. A night out with friends that ends with something horrific happening had me...

but that didn't even trump the secret that comes out towards the end. I admittedly figured this twist out fairly early on but I still admit it was ...

with how it was handled by both Bryn & Tyler. But this isn't an author that left you hanging no by the end this book will leave your feeling..

This was 4 star read for me ~ it was a good read that held my attention but there were times I wish the "issues" that occurred where played out a little more with a little more angst but that's just my opinion not everyone needs that out of a book. If you are looking for a second chance romance with an HEA then More Than You Know is the book for you!!!

Four years ago Bryn's world fell apart. She was on top of the world living with a great dad, an amazing best friend, and a loving boyfriend Tyler. But one day her world was shattered when without explanation Tyler announced that him and his family would be leaving the next day and never coming back. He never offered her a reason why they were leaving just packed up and left town leaving Bryn completely devastated. She tried calling and texting the next day and nothing. No response, just complete and utter silence. Bryn tried to put on a happy face for her dad knowing that she was just days from starting college. Bryn's world further shattered around her when she's in a horrific car accident while her dad is driving her to her first day of school leaving her with no one. No boyfriend, no best friend, and worst of all no dad. Carter, her dad's best friend and his son Ashton step into the picture helping Bryn out by moving in with her just like her dad asked him to in the event that something happened to him. Bryn tried to move on and get over what happened but after one semester at college she had enough and decided it was time to pick up and leave for New York for a fresh start.

Bryn makes it four years without revealing her past to anyone, not even her roommate Olivia. Until one day just two weeks from graduation she receives a call that will send her back home and to a house she hasn't set foot in in the last four years. Knowing she could never sell the house, Bryn decides to move home for good to Savannah and move back into the house. When she gets home, she discovers through Ashton that Tyler and her best friend Charlotte are back in town. She knows seeing them again is going to be near impossible, and she eventually runs into both Charlotte and Tyler. Tyler is just has handsome as he was four years ago when he walked out of her life. She still feels deep love for him, but with the way he walked out of her life she's not sure if she can forgive Tyler or Charlotte. She begins to mend her life, rebuilding friendships with people from back home and even slowly allowing Tyler back into her life.

Tyler knows he must take things slow with Bryn or she will never give him the chance he wants to prove that he still loves her and had no choice but to leave. But Tyler has a secret. He never told her why his family really left, and when she finds out will their relationship be able to survive the truth. When more secrets come out that neither of them knew will their already fractured relationship be able to survive or will it send Bryn or Tyler running in the other direction again just like four years ago?

This book was a sweet romance that I enjoyed. Parts of this book had me in tears because it was so emotional to watch Bryn and Tyler try to mend their broken relationship and I really felt for Bryn for all that she has lost. This book was well written and definitely worth the time out to read it and I look forward to other work by Alexandria Rhodes in the future, 4 stars!

We follow Bryn who I really love, by the way. She's a really interested and intriguing character and I found myself enjoying being inside her head. Anyway, she's in love and has pretty much always been in love with the love of her life, Tyler. He's her one and all that and I love books like this so I was already grinning.

One day, Tyler breaks Bryn's heart for, too be honest, not much of a good enough reason and it really pissed me off, actually. Out of anger, I found myself wanting to stop reading immediately. I didn't like not knowing the why and how (however, we do find out more in the end)...I really didn't like being in the dark as to the secrets behind his reasons for breaking her heart.

I don't want to spoil the reason why but after four years away at college, B moves back to her hometown. Pretty much everyone she grew up with is either still there, or has moved back at some point. So she comes back to close knit group of old friends along with some new friends and of course the dude that broke her heart, Tyler.

Tyler and Bryn hit if off again pretty quickly. I couldn't help but question B's reason for accepting Tyler back into her life that quickly without explanation from his side. But a lot happens so I didn't dwell on it too much.

Anyway, I want to say that my favorite part of this book was the ending and the epilogue. It was great closure!

I'm not a sappy person and I don't usually get involved in emotional turmoil in books unless it's extremely effective. You can't just say to me...someone died and now I'm all alone and sad. I don't get emotional over something like that...but what does get my stomach churning and my heart racing for characters is when the author is able to describe the character's emotions perfectly. Alexandria really helps you understand the impact certain situations had on Bryn. As one example, when Bryn and Tyler broke up in the beginning, I really felt upset about it. It was so soon in the book that there was no way I'd have grown attached to the characters yet, but Alexandria did it really well and it had the desired effect on me. I adored Bryn and ended up loving Tyler.

Okay, so More Than You Know wasn't your regular sappy love story. It's fun and sometimes feisty. It's definitely a book you read when you have lots and lots of chocolate and plenty of coffee in reach. You will need chocolate because More Than You Know will drive your emotions all over the place and you will need it to remain calm. Make sure to have lots of coffee because you won't be able to put the book down.

This was a wonderful debut novel and a stunningly emotional tale from Alexandria Rhodes. Can't wait to read more

Prepare yourself for an emotional roller coaster. I loved this book, and how it was written. Bryn suffers so much in such a short amount of time. I don't know how she did it because if it had happened to me I would probably still be in bed. Her strength to keep going was inspiring. Although she did avoid going back to her home town, she handled the whole thing remarkably good. She had a strong bond with her dad and a very close relationship.

When she leaves for school her intentions are to leave her past behind and start a new life. She succeeds in starting a new life, makes new friends, and graduates from college. Then she has to go back to her home town to make some final arrangements for her house that she grew up in. The one fear she had was that she would see her ex-boyfriend Tyler. He was her first love and he shattered her heart completely. I loved Tyler but I couldn't get past the reason he left her without any reason. No explanation...nada!!! The same for her best friend Tyler's sister. They were all inseparable then poof gotta go...see ya!! I was so mad for her as well.

However, as you start reading more and more and in between the lines you can see there was a lot more that happened that caused Tyler to leave with no explanation? I still don't understand why he didn't just tell her. I can understand it but doesn't mean that I liked it. I like how they slowly start seeing each other again and how everything worked out. OH GOD!!! The whole situation at the end that involved her dad and Tyler made me cry so hard. I couldn’t stop after I read this part. For a little bit there I thought I was leaking spinal fluid lol. That’s what me and my sister say when our noses run away from us.
Lord I felt for Bryn and then finally Tyler. You will have to read to see why. All in this entire book was great. I loved it and would recommend it but would advise that you may need the regular to make it through the entire book (tissues, wine, and chocolate).

"Love is impatient; love is cruel. It gets your hopes up then tears them down expecting you to be ok; able to cope without that second part of you that belongs to one unique person."

My Thoughts:

This is a story of love, loss, betrayal, and finding love again. I found myself stuck to this book and I loved it.

After Bryn's father died and was abandoned by the one person who could've helped her through it. So she left and with no choice but to come back she had to face her old town with the people and home she left behind.

The twist in the end was so unexpected. Throughout the story I had my suspicions of what happened to Tyler and thought the secrets he held something to do with her fathers death. I was totally off and was floored when I found what was really up with him.

The thing with their relationship I didn't like was that how quickly she warmed up to her Tyler after breaking her heart, I wished that it wasn't rushed into it. I mean if a guy broke my heart like Tyler did to Bryn there would be loads of explaining to do before I could even trust him let alone go back to loving each other as if nothing happened He abandoned her when she really needed him I would be heart broken and hard to forgive someone if they didn't come out and say what is going on. How could she trust him without him trusting to tell her the truth? Maybe its just me who thinks that.

I liked that there was two point of views of Bryn's and Tyler's in the book. But, I wish there was more on Tyler's part.

Overall I loved the story, and the ending of the story how they turned out years later.

I LOVED Alexandria Rhodes More Than You Know, though parts of the book seemed predictable Ms. Rhodes was able to captivate an audience with her style and character development. Bryn, the main narrator takes you on the journey of her life, filled with many trials and tribulations each heartbreak becomes your own. I give her credit because some things shes able to forgive i don't know if i have the HEART to do just that. Bryn makes you look at yourself and ask the question "can i be that unselfish?"
Learning about Oliva, Ash, Tyler, Cass, Maria and others thought out the story makes it like they are real and their stories become the story of your friends and family.
In hindsight i expected some small stories to become more meaningful, or find what links them to the development of both main characters that was never established.

I love that the story ends where it ends, its a standalone book that if Rhodes so feels can continue into a series. Throughout the book Rhodes gives an insight on Tyler's POV which is nice to know what goes through his head in certain situations.

I have a love hate relationship with Tyler and Cass, i feel what they did was unforgiveable and finding out why they did what they did wasnt worth the effect their actions caused. Im not a fan on how quickly Bry picks up that situation because it doesn't seem authentic. But times like this i have to remember why Bryn is the person she is, and the experiences she has ive never experience.

Overall, i loved this book and excited to see what Rhodes has to offer the bookworm world.

This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions! I loved it and really took to the characters especially Bryn, and Tyler.

Bryn is devastated after her father dies during a horrible car accident, he saves Bryn's life by shielding her and he doesn't make it.

When Bryn turns to Tyler her boyfriend and one true love he leaves her with no explanation! She is left on her own with nobody to turn to and no answers to why this is all happening to her! She decides to pack up and move away to get away from it all, and never look back.

Four years later Bryn is forced to move back to Savannah and take care of her old house and her fathers things that were left when he died. Her world is turned upside down seeing Tyler and, her best friend Charlotte again. She knows she needs to get answers but is afraid of what they might be.

Tyler is a great guy and when you read his reason for leaving you are upset he didn't tell her, but you understand why he didn't. He loved her that much to not put anymore worry on her. He was afraid to tell her the truth.

The huge twist I think I saw coming but loved it! It had me on the edge of my seat wondering if I was right. You want Bryn, and Tyler together and know they are meant to be right from the start! This book touched me personally because I have a baby with heart problems, and know first hand how real and scary that is for everyone involved!

I loved the ending where everything comes together, and Bryn always having apart of her Dad with her forever was so amazing! Thank you Alexandria Rhodes for this wonderful story about hope, fate, second chances, and forever love! I give it 4 stars!

More Than You Know is a story about heartache, loss and second chances.

Bryn Woods endures a lot in just a few weeks of her life. And she’s given the chance to start over when she moves away for college. An unexpected call comes two weeks before she graduates college. She returns back to home and the memories that she has tried to move on from.

She slowly lets everything and everyone slip back into her life, including the boy who crushed her heart 4 years ago. Tyler is one of the few people who has the answers to the questions that have been haunting her for the last 4 years, but giving Bryn those answers will also cause him to tell her the secret he has been keeping. When he eventually tells her everything – they are both in for a surprise.

The character development was good and the plot was interesting. However, I was able to see the twists coming and guessed a lot early on. I also had some issues with the way certain things happened with the characters such as moments being rushed. Other times I felt as though certain situations were just being too drawn out. The plot and twists were great they just were not brought to fruition very well. I felt that with some better editing, this could have been a really great book.

All in all, it was a good read.

If you are looking for something that will keep you entertained but doesn’t have a lot of angst and drama, this is the book for you.

I read an advanced copy but waited until its release to review it to see if anything had changed in the final version (I've only skimmed my purchased copy, but it seems to be about the same with a few minor tweaks).

More than you Know is the story of a girl named Bryn as she faces reality and deals with tragedy. After enduring a bad break up years ago, she's finally given the chance to face her heartbreak and get the answers she deserves. I felt the characters were likable, and the plot kept me guessing until the end (which I appreciate in a story). I didn't see the twist coming, although in hindsight it was foreshadowed wonderfully (quite cleverly, I think). I enjoyed the plot. However, there were some issues I found with the book, some technical aspects (repetitious words, run-ons, etc. that could've been tackled in a hardcore edit... I know, mistakes get through (TRUST ME, I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE LOL) but these were mainly sentence structure issues a serious edit could've fixed) and a few things that seemed needless, but alas, they are just things I personally noticed that others probably wont. All in all, three stars (two for the technical aspect, four for the plot).

Give it a read.

3.5 stars!

I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

More Than You Know is a very sweet story about how love truly prevails all, even when it seems impossible. Bryn is devastated when Tyler, the love of her life leaves her and moves away. To deal with this sudden loss, she too moves away for college to NY. Little does Bryn know are the circumstances that lead to Tyler’s departure have a lot to do with her and a secret. Four years later, she returns back to her hometown, and Tyler is back as well. Then it unravels.

I thought this was a great debut for the author. I felt that there was a lot of emotion in this story and I could relate to all of the characters. Despite secrets and betrayal, I found this to be a very captivating and passionate story about rekindled love.

I recommend this book to any NA lover that enjoys reading about second chance romances. Love is hard. To love again (even the same person) is harder. I truly enjoyed Bryn’s and Tyler’s story. I look forward to more of this author’s work.

I have to say that I loved this book. It has reminded me that when you think that your life cant get any better because of all the hard times that life will throw out you. There is a happy ending waiting for you somewhere.
Bryn was a person who will show that thru out the book how strong she is thru the lost of her father and the break up of her and her boyfriend at the same time. She had moved back in to her fathers house so they would not loose it. She will surprise you thru the whole story how strong she is. When she moved back home she is faced to see Tyler. He was her love of life also he broke her heart. The question is what is the happiness that is in store for them. You must read if to find out if they get a second chance of love.
This book had my so hooked my emotions where all over the place. I was happy when the characters were, annoyed when someone couldn't stop complaining, wanted to cry in sadness and at the happy moments. This was a story that I know I will reread it was amazing well wrote.

Thank you for allowing me to read this book.

It seemed like everything in Bryn Woods was part of a domino effect. First the boy she had given ever piece of herself to, after years of dating, suddenly leaves her with out a word. Her father is killed in a car crash that should have been her. Her whole world is tilted upside down, everyone she leaned on was gone in an instant.

Four years later, Bryn has returned home to make a fresh start. She had not expected to run into Tyler again, he wants a chance to explain. How do you let the person who tore you in two and deserted you when you needed them most explain, although she is angry she agrees. A steady rhythm is set, but Tyler still holds a secret regarding why he really left, that could tear them apart.

Beautiful story. There was no doubt in my mind about the love Tyler felt for Bryn. I would say that he underestimated her strength, but they were young and sometimes the most rational decision is the most unrational. Highly recommend.

Grab the tissues, you're going to need them.
Bryn broke my heart, and left me with silent tears more often than not. Her story of loss devastating, but somehow she pulls herself together and leaves her heartbreak behind to start a new life. After Tyler, she's never dated in the four years since and still pines for the loss of the love of her life. Once she returns to her childhood home, the story is told from dual point of view, from both Bryn and Tyler's perspective.

As far as most recent contemporary young or new adults are, More Than You Know is one to read. It's an emotional, feel good story with a beautiful ending passage. This is Alexandria Rhodes' debut novel and she's already perfected the art of the written word.

More Than you Know is a great love story that meets all the classic elements while creating a distinctive identity that keeps it from the label "just another love story." Ms. Rhodes did a fabulous job of creating real-life tragedy and human suffering to add to the main characters while allowing them the optimistic outlook that ultimately allowed for them to fall in love. I highly recommend.

AHHH meh it was cute.. Nothing too exciting. It's kinda predictable. It was a really quick straight to the point. Good filler until I find my next drop dead book bf.
