This anthology has 10 amazing and different short stories. Each story stood out in its own way. A few of them I really hope the authors expand once they are able to. Amazing talent in these 10 ladies. From the bad boy to the good girl, May to December, beauty to nerd, professional differences, those not meant to be, and finding the one you were meant for in the person you never expected - that's what this beautiful anthology is about.

Ball Out Jami Denise

A cute little story of two people, as opposite as could be, falling in love.

Boone is a former rodeo star, back home after retiring.  He is working the family ranch.

Paisley was quirky and kinda flighty.  She had unintentionally settled in town after her car broke down.  She was crushing on Boone, not knowing that he was as well.

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-no pushing away
-no violence
-no steam at all- if your looking for a sexy steamy read, this isn't it
-short epilogue

I can't say enough how much I loved this book. It's rare that you find an anthology where each short story you read is something you connect with and are sad when each one ends. I will defiantly be checking out each of these authors other works.

This anthology was one of the best I have read in a long time. The short stories keep you wanting more at the end of each story. I want to know what happens to each character in each story and how their stories end. This is a book that keeps you coming back for more. Each author keeps you on a knives edge from beginning to end. Thank you for doing this. Need more anthology books just like this.

Ten wonderfully written, short but sweet stories. These all have great "how we met" moments and I would love to see them expanded to full length stories but they work as is as well. You don't feel like anything is unresolved when you finish each one but just want more of the characters and storylines because they each draw you in.

These are such sweet stories and I adored this book.
This book is one you will cherish and won't want to end. It's rare in books like this for me to like every story, but I truly did. I was actually thinking that I wanted the stories to be longer since they were so good. A must read for sure. I will definitely check out other stories from these authors.

This is a collection of 10 short and sweet stories by 10 amazing authors. I enjoyed this collection! There is no cheating, no violence but lots of love and hope to make you feel good. Each story shines in its own way but the one I found myself connected to the most is The Years Between Us by Ayden Morgen, whom I had not previously read before. I enjoyed each story of unexpected love and hope, each made smile! There is something for everyone in this charming anthology, cowboy, doctor, students, musician.

I love anthologies because there's usually a fun mix of authors and styles to please most tastes and WHAT THE HEART WANTS definitely did not disappoint! All of the stories are short and sweet, I was able to read each one pretty quickly. Of course, as the title says, each story is based on the idea that opposites attract. All of the stories were good, each one with their own happy ending. This book introduced me to some fantastic new authors...YAY, I'm always looking for new to me authors! DRIVE ME CRAZY by T.M. Franklin was witty, delightful and probably my favorite one. Ben is a college student and Uber driver who's not really happy with his life but doesn't know how to change it. Meeting the free spirited Lilli gives him the kick in the butt he needs to fix his life. I usually prefer reading from dual POVs but this story is written entirely from Ben's perspective and I totally enjoyed it. The plot was unique and refreshing, in a "stalker-ish" but fun way! I actually would love to see this one expanded on. The whole book is told from multiple POVs. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

What the heart wants is an 'opposites attract' romance anthology. It's lighthearted, amusing and fun and provides a good mix of stories and characters from some great authors. Each story has its own spin on the opposites attract whether it be age, lifestyle, ambition, upbringing, etc.

I enjoyed the Summary provided by the authors before each story. It provides the right amount of background and gives an insight into the headspace of each character before going in.

I enjoyed most of the stories in this anthology and rated them all 3, r or 5 stars and rated the anthology 4 out 5 stars overall.
The stories that I found the most enjoyable to read, the best character interactions and would definitely have loved to have read more of are: Meet-Cute by Sydney Logan, Heart Strings by Melanie Moreland and A Still Life by Jo Richardson.

I kind of wish some of these stories get expanded or continue in some way.

I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

Holiday, by Jiffy Kate

My rating: 4.5

Such a beautiful little novella, a sweet love story about meeting someone by chance and connecting in a way that is real, and true. I really enjoyed reading this little snippet of a story - and Meg was someone that I could instantly relate to, even though I had never really been in the position she was in, per say. Dylan is just the sweetest guy, and he somehow seemed to meet and exceed exactly what Meg needed on this little holiday in London. I really hope for more to their story in the future!

My favorite quote "I had lofty dreams of London, but none of those came close to this moment. In a random cafe, way past my bedtime, with the most beautiful man I've ever met. It's not what I had planned, it's so much better."

I really look forward to reading the rest of the shorts in this book as well! They all seem so perfect and romantic!

Let's see, we have a rodeo rider and a waitress; a college student and a singer; Romance Reassignment Bureau and the Fates . . . a total of ten screwball comedies with the unifying theme of Opposites Attract. I'm a big fan of anthologies--any time you can get a group of stories at a good price, you are doing well. Because this set is benefiting The Terry Foundation, you can also do good!

I hadn't finished reading the entire series when I initially recommended it; I have now and recommend it even MORE highly! These stories are brief enough to enjoy in the relatively short breaks one usually manages to squeeze out for this particular pleasure and each brings a unique flavor to the table reflecting its author's skills and interests. Several of those authors were new to me but won't remain strangers!

I don't normally read anthologies because they are not long enough for me but for Sydney Logan, I will read all her stories. She writes the sweetest love stories around with a promise HEA. All these short stories had that and of course it's for charity so I made the effort. I enjoyed these nice stories.

I love Anthologies; one your are exposed to Authors that may have never come across your Radar, secondly all the proceeds support a good cause. Ten Authors from enchanted publication came together with 10 different stories with the same theme relationships & opposits do attract. Everything made from this anthology; supports Terry's Foundation. What also is fun, down the road you will find these characters that you fell in love with in an expanded story, I can see this happening with Everleigh and Grant. The other great thing with anthology you read a few chapters, go to another book 📚 and come for a few more. I want to congratulate all the authors that participated; Congratulations job well done!

This anthology featured 10 short stories where opposites attract and love is found in unexpected places and ways. Each story is a stand-alone and completely unique to the rest of the collection. There is really something for everyone in this anthology, with cowboys, doctors, students, musicians, actors and more. It is a feel-good read that leaves you feeling happy and wanting more, but in the best of ways.

While I enjoyed all of the stories in this book, those that resonated most with me were Drive Me Crazy, Holiday and Meet-Cute. Drive Me Crazy has opposites attracting on a Friday night after a rotten first date in an Uber. Holiday tells the tale of a new divorcee finding herself again while on a holiday in London. And Meet-Cute is an adorable story of a holiday and writer that have first meeting more entertaining than any screenplay.

If you are looking for some great summer romance that is light hearted and will leave you feeling happy, one click What the Heart Wants today!

What the Heart Wants is a fabulous, lighthearted read, consisting of ten different short stories based on the common romance theme of ‘opposites attract’. I really enjoyed each story featured in this novel, what a wonderful way for Enchanted Publications to showcase their talented authors. Most of these authors were unknown to me, so it was great to experience their writing for the first time and I will eagerly read novels from any of these authors once again. Congratulations to Enchanted Publications and the contributing authors on a wonderful compilation of entertaining stories of love. With proceeds benefiting the Terry Foundation – I wish you all great success.

In this collection of short and cute stories, I found the truth of the saying that opposites attract. Each plot presented in a different style and narrated either in first or third person brings much love at first sight, meet cute, so much romance and many happy endings.

I found a 3-star story, a 6-star story and a 4-to-5-star story, some of which made me want to know more about what happened to the characters later.
I really enjoyed the book ideal for a fun reading, without excessive drama or tragedies. The perfect book for passionate and romantic hearts like mine.

The wonderful authors at Enchanted Publications have banded together to release this anthology of adorable stories. They are all very different, but have two things in common: they deal with opposites attracting, and focus on the meeting of a couple.

I highly enjoyed each story. Some were by authors I was already familiar with, but this anthology also allowed me to get a taste for some authors who were new to me. I do not want to give anything away about the different storylines. Let’s just say this has piqued my interest, and I look forward to picking up more of their writing.

I am only reviewing one story at this time in this anthology.

The story by Jennifer Locklear. I liked the story, I didn't so much connect with the characters but the story line was good. One scene in the story had me a little teary eyed.

I will go back and read all the stories at a later date, I read this one because I am trying to read as many of the authors that will be at the signing I am attending.
