After Anton Vetrov brutally murders a young girl as a warning to Tristan Riley, the broken DEA agent believes the best thing for Lillian Maddox to do would be to stay far, far away from him. But Lillian knows a thing or two about fear, and she's not willing to let the man she loves push her away that easily. If he won't fight for them, she will... even if that means risking her life to prove she's strong enough to live in his world.

Her plan ends in disaster when she's dragged out of Teplo at gunpoint, forcing Tristan onto a collision course with the Vetrov family and Pedro Francisco. With nothing left to lose except the only woman who has ever mattered to him, he will do whatever it takes to stop Vetrov and Francisco from ever hurting her again.

But he doesn't know they've been waiting for him to make his move. When he does, all hell breaks loose, and his life is on the line. It's up to Lillian and the DEA to save him, and she's terrified they won't make it in time.

Thrust headlong into a violent, bloody confrontation with the Vetrov family, Lillian comes face to the face with the heartbreaking realization that maybe she doesn't belong in Tristan's world, after all. When the smoke clears, will he be able to convince his ballerina that she's the best thing for him, or will he lose her and the chance at a real future once and for all?

Rhapsody is intended for readers aged 18 and over due to graphic scenes of violence, drug abuse, and sexual situations.

I don’t think there are enough words to adequately describe how intensely hot Tristan Riley, the leading man, in Rhapsody truly is.
Raw and feral, yet intensely sweet to the woman who has won his heart, the difference in his personal life and his career are night and day.
When it involves his badge, he is determined and focused—he knows what to do, how to do it and follows through every time.
But when it comes to his heart, his Lillian, he is often at a loss, unsure how to say what he needs to, or show that he cares without going overboard with his intense need to protect her.
This book is an intense, deep read. The underlying crux of the story—the criminal element is gripping and scary, and very well done. Ayden writes the horror and ugliness of the drug world and those who inhabit it so well, it makes you cringe.
Lillian’s self-confidence is so shaken, she often overreacts to Tristan’s intenseness by shutting down, which leads to some pretty damn hot make up sessions.
To be truthful, every time these two are in the same room together, something starts smoking. They are hotter than fire, and the trail they leave behind is pure molten ash.
A gripping, page turner sequel.
Loved it.

Starting out, I instantly became addicted to this story. I couldn’t get enough and I wanted more than anything to figure out what was happening. The author did a wonderful job keeping me pulled into the story and the crazy situations Lillian and Tristan faced. I thought things surly couldn’t any worse, but just be prepared to get frustrated, angry, and if you throw your kindle across the room, yeah I warned you.
Tristan is a hard man to love and for him to let someone one him. He has been through so much heartache, so much grief he hasn’t let go of. He feels the need to save everyone, no matter if it kills him in the process. He doesn’t understand pretty much throughout the entire book, he cannot save everyone. Things do change for him as Lillian literally makes him change. He slowly starts to do things differently but oh my gosh! I seriously wanted to smack him around a few times.
Lillian actually grew on me more than I thought she would. She didn’t seem like the strong girl she needed to be, but after I read on, she really stood her ground. There were times I cheered her on, and I was glad she would put her foot down instead of letting everyone around her run all over her. Although I will say, she really frustrated me too at the ending of the book. I really wanted to shake her, and ask her what she was doing!
Overall this was a great read. It’s packed full of action and of course, hot scenes! Lillian and Tristan fit perfectly together and I’m glad I took the chance on this book. I couldn’t put it down once I started and now I really need book 3…Can I get that soon please? This is a must read and I am looking forward to seeing what Ayden comes up with next!

I was gifted this book in exchange for a honest review

After reading Ravished it left me wanting to find out if Tristian and Lillian survive the Vetrov family and Pedro Francisco, the cartel dealer.
Rhapsody had it all, it had the suspense of the nightclub life, drugs, murder, the DEA take down and overly written sexual moments between Tristian and Lillian. At times, Lillian frustrated the hell out of me with wanting to put herself in these dangerous situations to protect Tristian. I found this story had a lot to do with the two main characters always blaming themselves when something goes wrong. They are to afraid to be responsible if the other gets hurt, if they could put that aside then they could be together.
There was one character that got my attention Micheal Kincaid, DEA agent that would do anything to make sure Lillian is safe. Kincaid is a good looking smart-ass man that I certainly want to read more of.
I really did like the storyline and the characters are easy to like.

I was lucky enough to receive Ravished and Rhapsody in ARC form in exchange for an honest review and I can't wait for Ravished to come out so I can devour that one too.

In the first book, Ravished, we meet Lillian and Tristan for the first time and we get to watch them fall in love while battling drug dealers.

In Rhapsody, they are still battling the drug dealers but this time they manage to not only bring most of the key players but they both manage to get hurt physically and emotionally.

"I don't want to see an endless parade of victims anymore, I don't want to keep punishing myself for what happened to my parents. When I'm with you, all I see is you"

Tell me you wouldn't swoon over Tristan too!!

I love all the characters and would really love to hear Michael's story (hint, hint), he seems to have a very interesting story that is just waiting to be told.

The passion and intensity of these books will blow you away. I mean seriously, a DEA agent and an ex-ballerina? Who would have thought they would have such an amazing story??

An ARC was received for an HONEST Review

Part 2 of the Teplo Trilogy

After reading Ravished, you will be wanting to find out what is happening to the characters Lillian and Tristan.

Tristan is broken and feels that Lillian should stay away for her own safety, but she wants none of that and fights to win his heart.

What will he do to save her when she is taken be the Vetrov family and Pedro Francisco. He feels he has nothing left to lose.

This book is full of violence and sex and all up a 4 star read!

You need to read the first book to understand this one.

If you haven't read Ravished, then you should before you read Rhapsody. In Rhapsody, Lillian and Tristan continue their struggles to not only make their new relationship work, but to also bring down a drug dealer, his sadistic son and their followers. This book is a major roller coaster ride that will have you cheering, holding your breath, panting, moaning and saying OMG a lot. There were a couple of times that I would have liked to reach into the book and smack Lillian and Tristan's hard heads together, but I think near the end they finally figured out that life together was much better than life apart and that life does not come with guarantees. A lesson that all of us need to remember. Where their lives go from here and whether or not they can stop a new drug and sadistic killer from wreaking more havoc on the West Coast will hopefully be answered in the final book of the trilogy.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The saga continues for Lillian and Tristan and picks up just where Ravished leaves off. The suspense and danger are around every corner and will keep you turning pages. Well written with a good story line and a good flow. I love that we get some back ground and family dynamic / history on these main characters and some of the secondary characters get more depth. I have absolutely fallen in love with Michael Kincaid and hope to see a book just for him in the future (fingers crossed). Looking forward to book 3 Rapture to see what more could be in store for these two strong willed characters.

this book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Undercover Endeavour

The battle still ensues in the second book of this great read The Teplo Trilogy where Tristan and Lilian are trying to find the underground drug laboratory. Full of intrigue, prostitution, human trafficking, murder and drug abuse. I loved the tangled lust between Tristan and Lilian. This wonderful author pulls you in kicking and screaming in her gripping story from the outset, a real page turner with a dark, haunting storyline but full of so much emotion.

Action packed

As with any of A.K.'s work, this is action packed and keeps you engaged! Lillian and Tristan stumble in their relationship, but that's what makes them such believable characters. The supporting characters are great, but personally I love Michael Kinkaid best of them! (You can read his amazing story in Fight For You by Ms Morgen, and I definitely recommend it, after you've read the Teplo Trilogy!)

Rhapsody: The Teplo Trilogy #2
By Ayden K Morgen

This book takes up where Ravished left off. Tristan is a DEA agent who has fallen for Lillian Maddox, a former prima ballerina for Pacific Ballet Company. The roller coaster is just beginning. The suspense is nail biting at times. I loved Lillian. She was broken and devastated after her ballet partner purposefully broke her leg. She picked herself up and started the road back to recovery to prove the doctor’s wrong that she would never dance again.

This book focuses on her and the struggle she has to rebuild her life and find a new purpose. She finds that in helping Tristan find the drugs at Teplo and stopping the vicious cycle, by putting the drug dealers and killers behind bars. There are moments of passion and moments of heartache, so bring your tissues.

I have to say this book is my favorite of the two, because it opens up to more family moments between Tristan’s extended family and Lillian’s Dad, who is an ex-cop turned mayor in Bend, OR. I loved the touching moments with her Dad and Tristan. Both men love her dearly.

Ayden, please tell me there is a book for Michael Kincaid. I truly fell in love with him in this book. He is a loner, who is brought in as a semi- partner for Tristan. He fiercely guards “Little Mama”, his nickname for Lillian. He truly made me laugh. He needs his story told.
This book kept me turning the pages. I read it in one sitting. Definitely a five star read and I will anxiously be awaiting book three in this trilogy. Job well done, Ayden. You are now a go to author for this reader. Grab a copy of this book today!
