WOW ! seriously I'm officially calling this Sydney Logan's BEST book yet....I LOVE this book. It has everything. I love the amount of romance mixed with anticipation and drama and lets not forget the suspense...OMGOSH !!! I'm in love with her leading man Ethan Summers. I want my own little pocket Ethan. He is everything we nerdy girls want in a book boyfriend *sigh*. Also I'm not ashamed to admit it... I "may" have a "small" girly crush on Jenna York.. (she is so awesome, I tried to fight it, I did she's just well you will see ). I so enjoyed getting to read all the flirtatious banter between Ethan and Jenna. It was so witty and I found myself smiling while reading the book. It has a very "ahhh so sweet" quality. Sydney amazes me more and more with each book I read of hers. She pulls me in immediately. by chapter 3 I was already hooked and willing to stay up WAY past my bedtime reading. Halfway through the book I gave in and cried myself to sleep. I woke up and was antsy to get back to my book but real life calls first *sigh* . So what's a nerd girl to do? She tells the hubs to crock pot supper, puts on some Mickey Mouse for the toddler and FINALLY I get to dive back into Jenna and Ethan's world. I finished this book in 2 sittings. I couldn't put it down. I wanted MORE and MORE. I needed to know what was gonna happen next. This book EXCEEDED all expectations I had. It's not just another romance. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat... Definitely a must read book...

I"m also loving that she named a character after me. I debated on if i should mention this but AN AUTHOR NAMED A CHARACTER AFTER ME !!!!!!! that's HUGE right? I loved it. It made this nerd girls day. I'm so happy with my character =) THANKS SYDNEY FOR THE BOOK AND THE CHARACTER

The first victory Sydney Logan scored with this book was making me like a pair of con artists. I wasn't so sure I would when I read the synopsis, but then I started reading and right away, I was charmed.

Jenna is a bit on the wicked side when she pulls off a small job in Vegas, and Ethan is actually very sweet for a con man. He gallantly swoops in to save her from getting caught by having his plane whisk her out of town.... Or perhaps it was because he had his own con he was about to pull and wanted her out of the way. In either case, he's so charming when they meet up again that Jenna can't stay mad at him. She's too busy telling herself she's not attracted to him. Nope. Not at all. But Jenna can't con herself on that one, any more than Ethan can. Those two are made for each other and everyone knows it. Jenna and Ethan remind me a lot of Tracy and Hepburn with their repartee. I could seriously picture this as a film noire.

A disaster strikes when Ethan and Jenna's teams work together on a job, and the stakes are raised even higher. Jenna and Ethan finally given in to the attraction between them, and they might end up very happy together... If they survive.

My favorite Sydney Logan book will always be "Lessons Learned" but I enjoyed this wild ride. It had the tender sweetness I love in Sydney's books, though there were times when the "I want to shake that man!" factor was high. An all-around enjoyable read.

Happy Release Day!!!

FYI: There's a giveaway at my blog today:

http://www.firstpagetothelast.com

This story has it all. Four con artists are at the top of their game, two want out to start their lives together, one last diamond heist on the books to fill the coffers...and some off the charts UST (Unresolved Sexual Tension) between the other two. This made for a fun, exciting read. And then I cried. Then I wanted someone to pay. Such a roller coaster of a book!

Ms. Logan's writing is smooth and pulls me right in. She gives us people to root for. I especially enjoyed the supporting character of Ethan's pilot and friend. Tickled me that he was a pilot named Gabriel. An angel in the pilot's seat! I'm thinking I'd read a book just about him.

There were some really intense scenes in this book that kept me on the edge of my seat. There was tenderness that was touching, and revenge. Yep, just the thing to read to keep one warm on these chilly winter evenings. Of course, if you are reading this review in the summer, it's also good for warm, sultry nights! Yes, a good book to read anytime!

Disclosure: I was blessed to be an editor on this one. I can honestly say, I LOVED IT!

I was given the chance to read this as an ARC, so I will try to not give anything away.

So. Sydney does it AGAIN.

The story starts off with a gamble, and the twist is a gamble.

Ethan and Jenna are so a like. There are times you just want to bash their heads...but that is real life right? Life is complicated...but at no point did I once think "That can't happen, that wouldn't happen."

It is extremely hard to go to work, wait 10 1/2 hours and then start reading again.

Coop and Abby, are instantly lovable....

And Gabe...Sydney, I see what you did there...very good job (because I didn't get it until near the end)

The thing I truly enjoy is, this isn't like her other stories, she destroyed the box, the niche, that is placed on authors, and did something completely different.

Pros and cons is a book I will read over and over and over.

How does one write a review without giving anything away, by saying this:

If you aren't a reader, a story won't touch your heart. You won't get it, you'll think it was a waste of time.

This was not a waste of time, in anyway.

I have yet to read a story by Sydney Logan that doesn't touch my heart. Pros and Cons took up another piece, and I'm very chill with that.

CJ approves of this message by the way an looks forward to pimping this book out!

I have to admit that I don't read often. It is very hard for me to find a book that keeps my attention and interest long enough to finish. When I discovered Sydney Logan I can't seem to wait until her next book. Sydney's book and short stories have never let me down. Pros & Cons is the best one yet. I could not put this book down until I finished.

Sydney went to a new level on this one. I don't think I had one emotion untouched. I sometimes find myself skipping paragraphs while reading to get to the good parts. Sydney's work is a different story, I hung on to every word. I give Pros & Cons a 5 Star. You will not be disappointed.

I've read all of Sydney Logan's published works, both novels and short stories, and I've thoroughly enjoyed every single one. Sydney has a way of creating characters that you can't help but root for, and even though this story is a bit different from some of her previous books, it certainly doesn't disappoint. It is fast-paced and action-packed, but there is also meaning and depth to the main characters and their relationships. The H/h start their relationship with flirty banter and by referring to one another by their last names, but as the story unfolds, they realize that they connect on a much deeper level. This progression felt completely natural--nothing forced or contrived. They deal with some tragedy and danger, but they support one another and have the help of some great secondary characters as well. This book was a solid 4.5 stars for me. I couldn't put it down! There was just a little suspended disbelief in how their parents regarded their professions and how they were ultimately dealt with by the law. It didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story, though. I read romance to escape from the mundane day-to-day, and this was definitely a great escape! Well done, Sydney!

4 Con Artist Stars

Did I ever said , how much I love the con artist stories... They are refreshing with their different tracks and so much full of action.

This book begin with light bantering and sweet scenes , gradually it turned more intense and romantic. The characters were what made me gave it 4 stars.

Ethan AND Jenna are two beautiful con artist who not only compliment each other but complete each other. Abby & Coop were adorable. Jason & Cara were good , & Gabe was such a loyal friend.

I think , this is Sydney Logan s best book . Loved reading it.

Another great read from Sydney Logan!! Pro's and Cons had me from the first page! I fell in love with Ethan one of the best con artist known but second best to Jenna who is the known as the BEST con artist. They are professional rivals but they have intense chemistry between them that Jenna refuses to acknowledge. The heist they pull off as well as their passion will have you the edge of your seat! Pros and Cons has a bit of everything, adventure, passion, thrill, and heartbreak. Jenna and Ethan's story is worth reading, I could not put the book down:)
Thank you to Sydney Logan for the ARC ebook:)

This book has all the feelz. I think it's my favourite of all Sydney's stories and that's saying a lot.

Two pairs of con artists (one male, one female)keep tripping over each other. Eventually, one of the guys pairs off with one of the girls and they decide they want to get out of the business. The other pair (Ethan and Jenna) fights an attraction. All four con artists end up working together on a con and tragedy results.

Watch Ethan and Jenna make a hobby out of banter and flirtation, commit, soar, crash and recover. I thoroughly enjoyed this and I wouldn't mind it turning into a series. Hint, hint.

4 1/2stars! Sydney Logan is a Pro and a Con.

I started this book beyond excited to get started, it was only tempered by my fear of what I'd find along the way. After all Sydney Logan has never before written so many characters and protagonists that live a life of vice.

Sydney Logan is a thief and a cheat. She continues to steal my heart and the hearts of many other readers and she's not afraid to use a hunky man to do it.

Of course I worried for nothing.

I loved it. From start to finish, I loved it!

I don't usually read as quick as I did this book. I was finished a little under 3 hours, I just couldn't put it down. The writing and the characters have you hooked from the very first page. It's funny, flirty, charming and emotional and by far my favourite of Sydney's books to date.
I would highly recommend!!

I received an ARC of this book and dove straight in as I love Logan's way with words. She extracts so much emotion out of her characters, whatever the situation they find themselves in, and produces wonderfully sweet love stories. Pros & Cons is no different.

Our characters are loveable and the banter between them made me laugh in the right places. It's a bit obvious from the very beginning that they're attracted to one another, but don't want to admit it. It isn't until their best friends become involved with one another, and want out of their lifestyle. After one last job, which goes wrong in the worst way possible, Ethan and Jenna get closer and closer. What follows is a story that is a real page turner, and I read this book in a couple of sittings as I needed to know what happened next.

Admittedly, the ending left me a little deflated due to the build up and brilliant story which preceded it, but that was because I wanted more of their story. I wanted details, more than is given in the epilogue. Yes, the ending was perfect for our con artists, but it felt a little rushed, but given the nature of their lives, I understand why Logan did it that way.

Yet another winner from Sydney Logan, and well worth putting on your bookshelf!

Jenna's used to taking risks. After all, in the con game, risks are half the fun. But when she and her partner are paired up with another team of talented thieves, the stakes are higher than an of them could have anticipated. Ethan's not just her competition; he's the one man that makes her second guess her rather solo life. But giving into temptation in the face of danger is a risk she just might have to take.

Judging Covers: I actually liked the previous cover design better, but from what I hear, Hallmark has brainwashed the literate world into believing that red + white = Valentine's Day. Throw in a heart or two, and they are rendered incapable of reading a synopsis. Or something like that. Not that this cover is bad — I just happen to think Mr. Creepy Glare is, well… creepy.

The Verdict: I enjoyed this one before, so I thought I'd check it out in it's new skin, and it's just as good as I remember.

Jenna's at the top of her con game when she lands herself in a bit of trouble, and the incredibly handsome, irritating, overly-confident Ethan is the one to bail her out. They've been fighting an attraction for what seems like forever, but falling in love and settling down isn't in the cards for con artists known the world over. But everything changes when their respective business partners fall in love with each other and decide to get out, leaving both Ethan and Jenna to wonder exactly what the future holds for them. Until then, though, there's one last job, one of the biggest for any of them, and while it seems like easy money, it's not even close. What follows has Ethan and Jenna relying on each other for both comfort and safety, though even that is hard to come by. But it's just the right opportunity to let their true feelings for each other come to light.

I have to admit that I had some trouble getting past the names. If you knew my life, you'd understand, but let's just say that Ethan is probably the absolute worst name for me when it comes to a romantic hero. It was so disturbing that I ran a find-replace script and changed his name just so I could get through the book. But once that hurdle was cleared, it was pretty damned awesome.

Since I'd read the story before, I had an inkling of what was coming when they went to pull off that one last job, but since I didn't really recall all the details, I was just as shocked and devastated as I imagine the characters were. Part of me wanted to hate the story for including such a heartbreaking scene, but in all honesty, I think that's a big part of what made it such a great read. If the criminal life were all rainbows and cotton candy, it wouldn't be nearly so intriguing.

Ethan and Jenna are perfect for each other. They're both strong and capable, intelligent and snarky, and not the least bit interested in sugar-coating their lives. They live for the excitement of the con, something it's unlikely any other potential romantic interest would ever understand. But for a criminal, Ethan is refreshingly sensitive and considerate, and his feelings for Jenna bleed through even before either of them are willing to entertain the thought. In some ways, it reminded me of those old Hollywood movies, with strong, classic characters caught up in the dark crime world. The proper term escapes me, but you know what I mean.

I don't want to give away the whole plot, of course, but suffice it to say that Jenna and Ethan's story is one of so many emotions. They made me laugh, had me on the edge of my seat, and made me want to cry when it was all falling down around them. Theirs is certainly a story worth reading.

Fans of the TV show Leverage will find themselves captivated by what Ms. Logan has crafted with her compelling characters and edge of your seat action. From the first page to the last it's a thrill ride tempered with sensuality and humor courtesy of the immensely likable main characters and equally engaging cast of secondary characters. Ms. Logan will earn new readers with this fun and flirty read with its surprising depth that leaves you rooting for the criminals.

Ethan and Jenna are masters in the world of cons and from the first time their paths crossed they were drawn to each other but refused to act on it. Each subsequent meeting further enhanced their combustible connection. Brought together to aid in their friend's last con unfortunately leads to tragedy but brings them closer than ever to finally act on their feelings as they look for a way out of this world. What follows is an emotional roller coaster ride that brings laughter, tears, heartbreak, and joy amidst unrelenting sexual tension as their choices lead to danger and revenge on the way to HEA.

This was a delightful read that occasionally required you to suspend belief to fully embrace the entertaining journey as the ending is a little too easily tied up. The characters though are what drive this story and Ethan and Jenna are larger than life characters very confident in their abilities. Their connection is crackling and full of playful and witty banter and when together you're breathlessly waiting for them to jump each other as the sexual tension is off the charts. The story allows their romance to progress believably and ultimately leads to sexual interludes that are a nice balance of sweet and steamy. They're both strong-willed but willing to accept help from the other when needed. Ethan is suave, charming, sexy, and sweet and I was utterly enamored with him. Jenna is his perfect match and gives as good as she gets and together they're a formidable couple you can't help but like despite their career choice. Along with this intriguing main couple comes a slew of equally entertaining secondary characters who are just as capable and provide admirable support with a touch of humor. With so many memorable characters I hope this isn't the last we see of this colorful crew and that Ms. Logan brings us back into this world in the future.

This book was so much fun! It was fast paced and managed to suck me into its world right from the get go. It really says a lot to me about the writing when I can completely lose myself in another world for a while, the faster the better. It's full of excitement, tragedy, sexual tension leading into a sweet romance - what's not to like?

Jenna and Ethan are a perfect match in more ways than one. They trade witty barbs and banter whenever they run into each other on the job, trying to ignore the sparks that fly any time they get remotely close to one another. Although there is always a heavy dose of playful flirting involved, they both know deep down that if they ever give in to what they really want, the results are going to be explosive. All it takes is one inquisitive kiss to send them both running for the hills in self-preservation, but when tragedy touches too close to home they are forced back together again and eventually into each other's arms.

My only complaint is that I think I would have enjoyed a slightly longer look at these expert con artists and thieves at work. It is stated multiple times that these two are "the best" at what they do, but we are only given a slight glimpse of them actually doing it. I wouldn't want a lot more; I'd hate to get bogged down with too much information and lose sight of the budding relationship, but still it would be fun to see more of them in their element.

Otherwise, this is such a fun, lovely read! There were a few instances where I thought I was sure I knew what was going to happen next only to have the glorious pleasure of being wrong. I HATE when I can predict an entire book. Why bother reading it? When a writer like Sydney Logan can keep me entertained AND guessing like she does in this book I'll be sure to click that purchase button every time she has a new release!

Pros and Cons by Sydney Logan
*was generously given a copy in exchange for an honest review

I was asked to read PROS & CONS by Sydney Logan herself and asked to be honest. Seriously, she did not have to ask me twice. I have a serious author crush on this women. I was lucky enough to have read her before and fell in love with her writing style. Of course, you know me, I sent her a pm told her I loved SOLIDER ON and that I was downloading all the rest and reviewing them. She was so humble and sweet and her stories are told with humor, banter among the charters, real friendships develop and then if something comes of that, she delivers with a happy ever after. Sydney Logan perfectly executes a tale filled with rich characters and superb writing.

PROS & CONS introduces us to two likable con artist. Ethan and Jenna just cannot seem to get it together because they are too busy fighting the attraction for each other. There is a little bit of everything in this beautifully told story: adventure, passion, heartbreak and heist. I loved every minute of this thrilling ride. Most authors stop with 2 characters but Sydney Logan brings us a whole book full of fun, loving charters that only enhance the story.

I strongly recommend PROS & CONS, really anything by Sydney Logan will be a winning read.
PROS & CONS receives 5 out of 5 stars for just all around good story telling.

My 5 Star I Love A Thief Review!

You just can not go wrong with a story from Sydney Logan. She will tell you a story every time that leaves you with a smile.

Pros and Cons is a tell me a story kind of story that I love.

Low angst, a touch of drama, some suspense, romance, a story line that flows, and characters you will love.

Jenna York and Ethan Summers are professional thieves, the best in the business. Their paths constantly cross and though it seems they don't like each other, the simmering chemistry just constantly bubbles to the surface with every encounter. When they finally give in, the passion and sparks fly.

A tragedy happens when they team up for a job, leaving them both hurt and reeling to the core. It's the tragedy that finally brings them together and determined to have a "normal" life.

But that is easier said then done. Wanted by the FBI and Interpol, a mad man on their heels trying to force them in to working for the cartel, and personal issues both heartbreaking and uplifting just kept the story flowing with each turn of the pages.

Oh and the banter between these two!! Loved it! Ethan is suave and cocky sure, Jenna, always ready with a barb in response.

Such a good story! Not light, or heavy, just a really nice balance that keeps you going. Solid story rounded out with some really good secondary characters just delivers it all in a very nicely tied up and happy ending!

My Take:
I truly enjoyed this story. The playful banter between Jenna and Ethan is hysterical. You can feel the felling between them and at time you just want to yell at them open your eyes. You just fall in love with these characters. They always try to outdo the other and with their best fiends by their side how can anything go wrong. But all thing come to an end. Jenna and Ethan face their toughest job yet, staying alive. Will they be able to have a normal life? Will they realize their own feeling for each other or walk away? I could not put this book down. Sydney has outdone herself with this book.

I picked this up because I’m a fan of this author, more than that I was interested in the plot. But I thought, hey, two kick-ass con artists could be fun.

And Jenna seemed to start out strong and confident, but then after she and Ethan got together it all went to shit. She became a crying, emotional, simpering mess that allowed Ethan to surround her with bodyguards, kept her in the dark and wouldn’t let her go anywhere! And after she found out she was pregnant, she was fine with it! I hated her in the second half of the book. She became such a Mary Sue. She spent all day in bed sleeping and puking (two weeks into her pregnancy, which I’m pretty sure is not a thing) and letting Ethan handle everything. What the hell happened to the kick-ass con artist who outsmarts the cops and pulls art heists??? Ugh. Even Ethan became this emotional guy who made all his decisions based on what he saw as his “responsibility” to keep Jenna safe. They were both insufferable.

I’ve mentioned this before, but Sydney Logan is one of my top, go-to authors; whenever I’m in the mood for beautiful romance that will tug-tug-tug on my heartstrings, a Sydney story is guaranteed to do the trick. So when I found out she was publishing a new novel, I was incredibly eager to get my hands on it. And let me tell you friends, 'Pros & Cons' doesn't disappoint. This book has all the things that I’ve come to associate with Sydney’s talented storytelling: relatable, yet passionate characters, a twinge of angst to keep you engaged, and a lovely HEA. I happily give 'Pros & Cons' 5 stars and I’m really excited to share this review to tell you why.

Another one out of the ballpark for Sydney Logan! I absolutely adore this author!!

**I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my HONEST review!**

This book is another 5 star from author Sydney Logan. I loved these characters so much and my heart soared and broke when theirs did. There's a moment (you'll know when you get there) that just completely shattered me. I'm still not over it.

This is one of my favorite books by Sydney. Ethan and Jenna are two hot and snarky con artists that just ooze chemistry. From the moment they open their mouths, the wit just flies.

Ethan is smart, he's quick and I'm pretty sure butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Jenna is the flip to his flop and there isn't a better couple out there.

I desparately want more of these 2 cons!!

This is a fun and cute romance about a couple con artists. Jenna and Abby have been friends since college and also professional con artists. Ethan and his partner Coop are a close tie.Can wanted men and women fall inlove and have a normal life? Do they even want one?

This is avery good, fun, fastpaced, though traditional romance. There is a few twists the best is that the main characters are actually criminals. Yes you heard right they are all criminals. Not evil thugs ors street gangs, but more or less high-class burglars.

The story is sexy yet clean enough anyone can enjoy it.
I highly recommend this to anyone that likes a good, fun romance. There is some sex but it is sensual well written and a loot off the page..

From beginning to end I couldn't stop reading this story. I fell in love with Ethan and Jenna and even in their interactions with one another I knew they were bound to be together. This story had it all heartbreak, action, love and had me at the edge of my seat a couple of times and I loved the ending. I hate that once I start a story I really love that like everything it comes to an end. Definitely one for all to read.
