Let me just say that I am incredibly happy that Lilli & Aidan were able to get their happily ever after! Finding love & happiness in such interesting circumstances is pretty darn cool. Thank the heavens for Aidan! And Lilli's ability to come to terms with everything that has happened is no short of amazing. Her struggle with connecting to the pregnancy is totally understandable. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I had to go through a "pill problem" like that. I was super relieved when she warmed to the babies & Aidan. It was nice to see her strengthen her relationship with him. (All of that pregnancy sex wasn't that bad either!) And daddy Aidan is so adorable. So, I was happy a lot of the time reading this but one thing I CANNOT get over is...

The whole Loreley situation. No matter which way you slice it, this part of the story ruined it for me. It was simply awful to find out about it & even worse when you realized that it would NEVER go away. I mean, it's a pretty permanent fixture in both Aidan & Lilli's life. At first, my feelings were: "Oooh, this is scandalous! I cannot wait till they figure out that nothing happened (using security tapes & various CSI techniques) & go on with their happy life." When I found out it really did happen & the extent of it, I was like, "Gawd! Wasn't it bad enough to find him in that position? Stop the insanity now! No one could be that forgiving- at least not fully forgiving!" Sorry, for some reason I got really worked up over it. If the result of that unfortunate situation had never occurred, I would have been okay with it. It just ended up being a HUGE sore spot for me.

My favorite part of this series are the characters! They really do make the story. They're so supportive of one another & fun to learn about. Can you imagine having Viola over for brunch & mimosas? And I loved everyone's happily ever after! I thought it could've ended a bit earlier- I think 14 babies were born by book end!- but I'd much rather have a lot of happy tears than sad ones. And who wouldn't want to hear more about Dixon? :)

Happy Ever Addendum is the third and final part of the Modern Arrangement trilogy, it starts off where Here Comes the Bride left off with Lilli finding out she's pregnant with Twins and Aidan determined to get her back.

The first half of the book was mainly Lilli and Aidan getting their heads round the fact they had two baby's on the way and trying to get their relationship as man and wife back on track which was lovely to watch.

The second half of the book well where do I start this is where it got hard to put down. We find out who swapped out the birth control pills and my guess was bang on. :) then just when you think its time for everything to settle and them to live HEA with their beautiful family BOOM the drama rating goes from 0-10 in as many pages which blows Lilli and Aidan apart again and made my heart hurt a little for both of them.

My favourite part has to be the Epilogue to look back over the last 10 years was like catching up with old friends Sadie nailed it and as for the very last page that was a shocker i didn't see coming, but to find that out you have to read the book which I really recommend.

The supporting characters like the other two book were great, Viola still has to be my favourite with her out of the blue smutty comments.

This is from both POV and ends with a HEA.

Thanks again for my advance copy Sadie. I can't wait to read more from you.

Dont read my review if you haven't read the book or this series yet....there are spoilers.

Eh, this book was just okay for me. The entire thing felt like a race to the finish. It was as if the author had so many ideas for how the book would go and instead of carefully choosing a few of them she just threw them all in. To top it all off, this was the final book in the series, but was left with a giant cloud hanging over the book. Not really cool.
Book 1 - Aiden's grandfather dies leaving a stipulation in hos will that Aiden must marry within 1 year and have a child within a year of the marriage. He meets Lilli, tries to find a wife, and decides it should be Lilli then goes about pursuing her. Lilli' s father's health is failing so Aiden offers to help him if she agrees to marry him. She agrees.

Book 2- Aiden and Lilli are finally having sex, but she is on birth control because she isn't quite ready for a baby. Except...oops, someone bribed the pharmacist to replace her birth control with a fertility drug and bam, she's pregnant. ...with twins. Aiden convinces her it wasn't him and sets about finding who dunnit. Aiden is in love with Lilli.

Book 3- All is well, everyone is happy. The book quickly takes you through the last of Lilli's pregnancy. Lilli loves Aiden. The twins are born, and quickly we go through their first 18 months, when Lilli flies to Chicago to check on aiden and finds him in bed with another woman...her friend Lorelei. She leaves him. Turns out Aiden was drugged with Vigra and rufied, he shows the test results to Lilli they finally get back to gether then find out Lorelei is pregnant but missing. Everything is crazy. They find out it was Aiden's uncle Henry behind drugging Lilli, and Gideon, Lorelei's father was behind drugging Aiden. The twin turn two when they recieve a letter from Lorelei saying she had the baby his name is cole. Then they set about finding Cole and Lorelei, when a few months later, news breaks that Lorelei and her father gideon are both dead...they shot each other. Weeks later they have Cole and Lilli is pregnant again. Everyone is happy again. The twins are all of a sudden turning 15, Cole is 13, their daighter is 9....then Lilli gets a letter from Lorelei. ..yup, shes still alive. the end.
weird huh?

This book was the hardest to rate out of all the books I've ever written reviews on. I was expecting so much more from the third installment. I found so many mistakes that just made me plain angry. Who is Darian? isnt it suppose to be Demetri? Loreley's name is also spelled differently in the first book than it is in the second and third. I read and re-read these books so i knew the first back to front and knew every single character and i felt annoyed about the small yet silly mistakes like that.
I love love love the story of Aidan and Lilli, I love how they are so care free and silly with each other and can make fun of themselves. They were very easy going as they tried to fit into their new roles and just made the best out of it all while having a laugh. they were just adorable. I didnt get that in this installment. The Aidan in the first two books would have done anything and everything to find out who drugged him and Lilli and get their assess. I still dont know for sure who was responsible for all the drugging drama. What was Loreley's real role in all this? was she a truly a victim herself? whats Gideon deals? why was he one minute being all cocksure and the next he didnt know what was going on? It was all so confusing and left more answers than actually bringing closure to what started off as a true modern arrangement. I also didnt understand how Loreley sent the letter from "beyond the grave".

I thought the whole thousand children thing was a little long winded and could have been done in a epilogue and shortened down some more.

I wished it focused more on lilli and Aidan as they come to terms with all the drugging and drama. I didnt care for the time lapse thing that was going on. I loved the first two books because it all seemed realistic and do-able especially with the time frame that Sadie used in them.

I Love Sadie Grubor, she is a fantastic author and will continue to read her books and i personally think that there was a great deal of pressure on her to complete this book. I'm guilty of stalking her on facebook as I was dying to read it.

I will say it was my least favourite book of Sadie and I cant tell you how much it pains me to write this review. It fucking sucks!(the feeling....not the book)

This trilogy is funny..you really get to laugh..cry.. you go through all the emotions.. it's "homely..bittersweet" the final book does move to fast and really I just sometimes wanted it to slow down a bit & chill..but I loved it.. (seriously I wished it was longer & more detailed.
I kinda feel cheated a bit.. I feel it deserved a little sweet talk than rushing it)

I sad abut the miscarriage.. uncle Henry's passing.. I'm glad about all they blessings to.. all in all a really good trilogy..would have been the best had it not been a bit rushed.. but great weekend read..
( I'm a sucker for a series of books that cover a longer tome period, makes it real and more natural
.they come alive)

I really don't get whey as this was the last book that it ended with a cliff hanger.. Lorelei is alive???.. now this got me questioning everything.. it took them years to solve the "birth control" issue.. for a man who claimed to love his wife.. I feel Aidan was a bit lazy.. a love sick rich would have done everything money could buy to find out everything.. I don't get why after he was drugged & raped did he not try to find out who was behind it for all that time.

first half of this book is like the first two books in the series.. a bit fast paced but it worked.. send half really is too much information in one go.. I would have been happy with it being two separate books or just mixing the fist half with the second book..then second half longer.. detailed.. that would have polished it up & made it a great ending to the trilogy ( right now I feel like I going to get an encore chapter or two or five to end the series.

Even though I had a couple of issues I enjoyed all three books & thought they were well written & showed great thought & will more books from Sadie.

The book started off as good , i loved Aiden and Lilli . Everything was fine up until the point where Lilli sees Aiden naked in bed with Loreley . now this is not the first book I have read where the characters are in such a situation . I waited for there to be something that will prove it didn't happen . Well turns out it did , and that part totally killed it for me , even though Aiden didn't actually cheat . but then everything was fine and Lilli's and Aiden's love for each other got them through the situation . But then there came Aiden's bastard child whom Lilli accepted more than Aiden did . i mean seriously ??? It should have been that they got through with all their problems not stuck with it life long . And the way Lilli just opens her arms to Loreley just seems fake . i mean even though it was not Lore's intention to hurt Lilli , no woman is going to be so accepting of another woman who slept with her husband and had his child , at least not so soon and openheartedly .

Wrapping up and closing out the "Modern Arrangements Trilogy" found me generally pleased with the story on a whole. The third installment brought some shocking surprises, great laugh-out-loud moments, lots and lots of babies, and a general feeling of a family united and happy. The relationships between the family members, friends, and houseold staff is probably the biggest standout overall. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them interact.

Overall, a fun-to-read trilogy.

I liked the first half, where there was an actual story. The second half was just like a really long epilogue where everyone has babies and gets married. The amount of characters by the end was strenuous to remember; too many. The twist with Lorelei went too far. It was an okay book, that had a happy ending I suppose.

It is with both sadness and fulfillment that I bring this trilogy to it's end. While I am sad to say goodbye to these characters, I'm glad to finally give them their HEA. :)

Well, I guess this book was "okay".
There was just so much going on. I mean all this children. It was confusing.
I really disliked all this leaps in time.
But the writing was good.

Oh Aidan why oh why can’t you be real and not just in a book. This is the type of man every woman wants to meet and spend the rest of your life with. Lilli is one lucky lady to be with him. Even without the money, I have no doubt the man is capable to show how much he loves his wife and kids. Pure joy and happiness is what Lilli and Aidan have in one another. Forget about book boyfriends, Aidan is my book husband!

The banter shared by the two are awesome and just love that as time passes they don’t lose it and keeps going. Gideon is a rat bastard and deserved to die and I hope it was painful. The way he used his daughter for his own selfish purpose was uncalled for. Lilli is a strong woman with a heart of gold and it shines throughout everything that she is put through. Why couldn’t everyone just leave them alone and let them have a happy home life.

The epilogue was special. I really loved that we were able to see how everyone and their families turned out after all the craziness that happened. It’s great to see friends and family stay close to one another and how each family grew up and expand on. Dixon’s point of view of his kids was spot on. That is a man that just loves his wife and kids to bit. Phoebe is Phoebe and nothing will change that which is great. Oh but Liam and Viola not even age slows them down and that wonderful.

This was a great series and enjoyed peeking in the life of Lilli and Aidan crazy family drama and extended family.

Far too long and pretty much useless. Too much unnecessary drama.

I HATED the main conflict and the plot twist. I thought they added absolutely nothing to the story and the characters would have been better served without it.

Lilly went from a shrieking harpy in book one to semi normal in book two to freaking mother Teresa the saint in book 3. Her evolution was just not believable. Plus, I did not like how she treated Aidan after 'the incident'.

The story should have ended in book two with them having their twins and an HEA. Everything else was filler and I found myself skimming most of it to get to the end.

Didn't like the end much either. If the main conflict and twist were unnecessary than the final twist was absolutely superfluous. It served no purpose and did nothing for the plot or characters.

Then there were the timeline issues that just made me want to scream. They are celebrating the twins' 15th birthday and talking about Maggie being home from college for the party. Considering Maggie left for college when the twins were about 3 that would mean she spent 12 years in college. Yeah. Okay. That wasn't the only timing issue but it was the biggest and most blatant.

The editing was beyond terrible. Like my 9th graders could've done a better job of editing this and I'm usually lucky to get a coherent sentence out of them.

Disappointed by this whole series. Book 2 showed promise that it may improve but book 3 was just a clusterfuck of drama.

I loved the first book especially the witty banter between Aidan and Lillie. In the second I still really liked the book, and I thought the author did a great job of expanding out with all the secondary characters. With this book, I liked it, but I didn't love it. I knew this was to be the one to tie everything up but it felt a little rushed or empty. I hate saying that because it's still leaps and bounds above anything that I could ever write. I had a little trouble here and there following the timeline. It jumped around a lot and there was one sequence in which L was upset with A and it was hard to follow the amount of time it covered. I kind of wish there had been fewer dramatic events involved, and instead have more depth into the individual events. With so many events, and something like 15 years being covered it felt a little rushed.

Regardless of what I've said I still purchased it the day it came out and read it in one sitting. I'll continue to read Sadie's books, and I'll definitely read Save The Date again.

Oh my gosh! The poor woman..what did she sign up for with this family?? My heart goes out to her so many times but I'm glad she has the strength to pull through it all. Aidan loves her fully and will do anything to make things right. I do love their relationship and the friends that they have around them. Quite a bit of humor along with some sexy scenes that make it such a great conclusion to their love story. I truly loved all the characters that were involved (except the couple bad ones)and that is very rare that I find all of the characters likable. Especially because they are not all forefront characters. But I could read a book about each one of the "couples" relationships and be totally entertained. Great Trilogy! One more thing, the little children had some great lines in this book..quite a few made me miss my kids being small again.

It's been a while since I read the first two books, and at first I was a little lost, I had to go back and re-read parts of the first two to figure out who was Phoebe, who was Dixon, who was Celia etc.... but I got there.

This is the conclusion to Lilli and Aidan's story. They're expecting twins and all isn't smooth sailing. There are other pregnancies, more drugging, travels, engagements, unexpected surprises, additional children and so much more.

I didn't hate this book, but didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first two. Lots of family gatherings, but they weren't that intriguing, loads of children from supporting cast and main characters... was almost difficult to remember them all. All in all it was an ok book

I firstly would like to say I loved this series!!
Secondly I loved this book as it tied up all but one loose end...well it wasted up until Lilli read the letter from Loreley at the end. As it says that she recently required photos and she will not interfere with there life's from now on. So my question is....Is she still alive but in hiding from her fathers family and gave Cole to Aiden and Lilli to keep him safe?
And is her grandmother involved in hiding her and passing on information and photos of Cole.

Did anyone else pick up on this or amI reading too much into the letter?

Just a little confused and would love if I could get fellow readers input. :S

Here's the thing... I wanted to give the stories a chance because I enjoyed the characters. By the second half of this, the third book, I was DONE. But I wanted to pull through to the end, so I carried on.

The editing was TERRIBLE. Painfully awful. I found myself stopping for several minutes at a time just wondering how Monica Black didn't catch some utterly obvious editing, grammar, and spelling mistakes.

The second half DRAGGED. I just wanted it to be over. I'd say the second half of the book could have been edited down 50% easy.

All in all... good story, but the formatting/editing/grammar/spelling errors made it a difficult read.

I have to say I am very sad this is the last book in the series but I just LOVED the ending. This book had me feeling so many emotions; happiness, sadness and anger just to name a few. I felt like there was always something trying to tear Aidan and Lilli apart and it just broke my heart over and over. And that ending was just amazing I felt like it was almost like a movie and I was picturing everything. Sadie Grubor you totally rock and did such an amazing job on this series. I loved, loved, LOVED it and 5 stars isn't enough. Thank you for such an amazing series.

disappointed with how this one turned out, especially since I really liked the second installment. I just found there to be too much drama. The whole Loreley situation was over the top and unnecessary. That killed it for me. I also felt like the speed through their lives towards the end to be too much. I would have been just as happy with a prologue that wrapped things up....and geez how many babies do these people all have to the end?! I mean come on, most of the couples averaging 4-5 kids is unrealistic.

With all the disappointments, I still enjoyed the characters

I loved this book but I read it like a proofreader, which is how I read now I can’t help it. I only gave it four stars because I found quite a few proofreading mistakes. It didn’t take too much from the story but I couldn’t give it five stars, which I really wanted to.
I love anything Sadie writes, she’s in my top five favorite authors. This was different than her Falling Stars series, my introduction to Sadie. I love that she can write in so many different ways.
Without telling to many spoilers, Aidan and Lilli finally saw the light! I loved this book and didn’t want it to end.

Now that I am emotionally spent from crying in public for the last four days thanks to this series by Sadie Grubor (especially book 2 &3)......This is a great series!!! If you are looking for a funny, witty, emotional, and sexy, engaging read then this is it!! It covers a large time frame and is fast paced but slows in just the right places. Only left me hanging with 2 questions in the end but overall I loved it!!

Crazy twist to this series that had me pissed the fuck off...for the characters. I did feel cheated not knowing how the "twist" happened and if we could have read it as it happened I think it would have made more of an impact (And obviously me more pissed off). The friends still had me smiling in this book and the heroine wasnt weak which I appreciate. I loved the ending and the follow through on everyone's lives.

The final part to the trilogy...

...for Aiden and Lillian.

My thoughts

I'm glad I finally got closure on this couple.

Honestly I couldn't quite remember what happened at the end I the last book. But it did start to come back to me.

There was a lot of ILY for half the book, then the second half some drama and twists. Overall a nice trilogy x

Sometimes you read a book, and it's okay. You like the characters. The storyline is moving along, albeit with some pretty far-fetched scenarios. You enjoy the book. Then the epilogue jumps forward ten years and you think you're wrapping up all the characters stories nicely, and then WHAM! The last page totally blows your mind because it didn't add anything to the story and makes no sense at all. I just don't understand why the author ended an otherwise good story on such a weird note.
