“I had wondered—” Erwin coughs again, and is cowed into lowering his gaze when the Captain looks at him. He has the most scrutinising of stares. Erwin isn’t sure if he can see out of his left eye, but in that moment, it could well be penetrating his heart. “Ah, that is. In your letter, you didn’t mention much. Of what you expected from me during this session.”
The Captain takes so long to answer, that Erwin begins to think he does not feel inclined to say anything at all. He finishes his tea, and returns his cup to the tray. “What does your job usually entail?”
“Usually? Well, I might accompany a client to an event, or have dinner with them, or simply keep them company.”
“Do you have sex with them?”
“Yes.” Erwin swallows.

"Love and fear were not so different, he decided. Both made him painfully aware of everything he had to lose."
Erwin swore to dedicate his heart to humanity, but that plan was disrupted after a certain criminal from the Underground joined the Survey Corps. Set one year after Levi joins the Survey Corps (and 4-5 years before the events of the original story), this one shot imagines just what might have happened the day Erwin realized his feelings for Levi weren't quite as unrequited as he initially thought.
Also, they might just get semi-drunk and attend a festival. Sexual tension and shenanigans ensue!
